The infants can be 0-12 months or 0 to 36 months of age and the composition can be an infant formula. The composition promotes a healthy intestinal microbiota and can have long term effects.

Abstract: A method of drying feedstuff samples without substantially altering their composition is provided. The method includes placing feedstuff samples in one or more porous enclosures, such as bags. The enclosures allow for airflow to pass through them to the samples within without allowing said samples to escape. Enclosures holding the feedstuff samples are placed in a dryer. Multiple porous enclosures may be placed in the dryer concurrently. The dryer then subjects the feedstuff samples in the enclosures to heated airflow and rotational movement/tumbling to adjust the moisture content of the feedstuff samples. The heated air of the dryer has a temperature and airflow rate of at least 50 degrees Celsius and 500 CFM, respectively. Moreover, the rotational movement within the dryer has a rate of at least 40 RPM. The resulting dried samples have approximately 10% or less moisture remaining after 45 to 180 minutes in the dryer.

It has been identified that cured tobacco is very brittle and difficult to handle without damaging the tobacco leaf. In order to address this issue an apparatus for post-curing conditioning of tobacco is provided. The apparatus includes a tobacco chamber for storing cured tobacco leaves for conditioning; and an air processing facility which includes: a ventilation system for creating an airflow through the apparatus, wherein said airflow is drawn into the air processing facility, passes from the air processing facility into the tobacco chamber, and subsequently exits the apparatus; a heater for adding heat to the airflow; and a humidity generator for adding moisture to the airflow.

Abstract: Smoke-able shells that are sold commercially for use in roll your own cigarettes, cigars and cigarillos may be made from smoke-able material such as leaves and homogenates and humectant. Humectant may be applied to the smoke-able material via spraying and/or addition to adhesive that is used to bond two or more layers of smoke-able materials together to form a smoke-able shell. The resulting smoke-able shells are characterized by reduced mold growth on their surface compared to the same smoke-able shells minus the humectant.

The trousers include an inseam panel insert that may be continuous across the crotch and down the inside longitudinal lines of the legs, preventing the need for an actual seam on the inseam of the trousers. The inseam panel insert is connected to the other fabric of the trousers with seams that are disposed away from the traditional inseam location and away from the crotch area. The inseam panel insert has at least one area, and typically two or more, which has an increased, progressively increasing and progressively decreasing width, located between the crotch area and the end of the pant leg.
