Abstract: A handheld system includes a motion-generating mechanism having a first motor mounted to a housing to generate a first rotary motion and a second motor coupled to a first output of the first motor such that the first rotary motion imparts to the second motor and rotates the second motor within the housing. The second motor generates a second rotary motion. An attachment arm extends out of the housing and has a first end coupled to a second output of the second motor and a second end configured to attach a user assistive device. A motion sensor senses a motion of the handheld system and generates a signal in response. A control system is coupled to receive the signal and to control the first and second rotary motions with commands generated based at least in part upon the signal. The commands direct the motion-generating mechanism to stabilize unintentional muscle movements.

A pin of the apparatus is slidably receivable in the channel through the open end to assemble the C-shaped clip and the pin together. The pin has a tab or strip that extends through the slot, for attaching the pin to a second location on the vest. The apparatus includes at least one detent element associated with one of the C-shaped clip and the pin, cooperatively engageable with the other of the C-shaped clip and the pin for retaining the pin in the channel, and releasable in a predetermined manner to allow slidably removing the pin from the channel to provide a quiet and rapid manner of operation.

Abstract: This invention relates to a washable multi-component magnetic floor mat with a hidden base component. The floor mat contains a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The present invention eliminates the need to wash the base component of the floor mat which results in environmental, cost and labor conservation. Alignment and deployment of the textile component with the base component in an efficient manner is also described herein.

Abstract: A parcel receptacle includes a bottom member, an exterior wall that extends upward from the bottom member and that defines an interior space, and a top member that is coupled with the exterior wall and configured to cover an opening of the receptacle to enclose the parcel within the interior space. The parcel receptacle also includes a lock mechanism that is operably coupled with the top member and the exterior wall. The lock mechanism is lockable to prevent user access to the interior space and is unlockable to enable the top member to be opened to allow user access to the interior space. A vertical lip of the top member overlaps at least a portion of the exterior wall so that a seam between the top member and the exterior wall is covered by the vertical lip.

Abstract: A curtain system with improved safety, ease of mounting, ease of dismounting, ease of cleaning, and range of installation is provided herein. The curtain system foregoes the use of a handing rod, and instead is operable to use one or more of a plurality of mounting hardware, including hook and loop fasteners, magnets, and suction mounts. The mounting hardware are selected based on the site of installation of the curtain system, and do not require destructive installation as required for retrofitting a surface with hanging brackets via nails, screws, or adhesive substances such as glues or tapes.

Abstract: A drapery-holding, light-blocking air deflector is provided comprising an elongated deflector housing having an internal space. A rod is mounted for rotation within the internal space of the deflector housing. Multiple retaining radial protrusions (e.g., radially extending flaps) are mounted on the rod. The rod can be rotated in the internal space of the deflector housing to orient the retaining radial protrusions at multiple positions or angles and retain a curtain or other suspended light-blocking or privacy item within the internal space. Thus, the air deflector prevents the curtains, panels or other suspended, light-blocking or privacy items from being blown forward by air from an AC unit and separating and unblocking light passing through a window into the room.

Abstract: A bottlewasher rack assembly includes a mount hub for mounting to a lower wash and liquid feed system of a warewash machine, and a plurality of interconnected wash arms and rinse arms to which wash liquid and rinse liquid, respectively, are fed from the mount hub. A plurality of upwardly projecting wash feed tubes are provided, each wash feed tube having at least one wash spray nozzle. A plurality of upwardly projecting rinse feed tubes are provided, each rinse feed tube having at least one rinse spray nozzle. The wash feed tubes and the rinse feed tubes are arranged in a multiplicity of side-by-side pairs so that each pair can project upward within a respective upside down bottle placed thereon. A warewash machine incorporating the bottlewasher rack assembly is also described.
