Abstract: Invoking an agent during a dialog between a user and an automated assistant. Some implementations are directed to receiving, during a human-to-automated assistant dialog, natural language input of the user that indicates a desire to engage an agent, but that fails to indicate a particular agent to be engaged. Those implementations are further directed to selecting a particular agent from a plurality of available agents, and transmitting an invocation request to the selected particular agent. In some implementations an agent selection model can be utilized in selecting the particular agent, such as a machine learning model. The machine learning model can be trained to enable generation of output that indicates, for each of a plurality of available agents (and optionally intent(s) for those agents), a probability that the available agent (and optionally intent) will generate appropriate responsive content.

Abstract: Mechanisms can be provided for locking a component and extending the lock to one or more additional component(s) in a visual analyzer application. Embodiments can receive a request for a first component of a document for a first thread where the document is displayed by a graphical user interface (GUI) and has components including the first component and a second component. A lock manager may lock the first component. An action handler can determine, based on code associated with an event pertaining to the request, that the second component also needs to be locked. The lock manager may lock the second component for a same thread, if the first and second components are not currently locked. Additional user actions directed to other components of the application not currently locked may still proceed, permitting asynchronous calls to be processed without interference with a previous action that has already started.

Abstract: An employee proximity tracking system that includes a central computing system and an employee proximity tracking application executing on a mobile device. Data signals are received at a first power level by the mobile device executing the proximity tracking application The first power level is indicative of a first distance of the employees from the mobile device, triggering a caching of action items associated with the respective employees by the central computing system. Data signals received at a second power level are indicative of the employees further approaching the mobile device, generating a user interface enabling selection via the proximity tracking application of a particular user. The central computing system forwards responsive cached action items to the proximity tracking application in response to the selection.

The method includes automatically selecting keywords in an online transcript generated via a messaging software application. The keywords are analyzed with respect to technical skill based software tags stored within a database repository. Contribution attributes associated with user communications are determined and associated software code is generated and executed. Users are ranked within a multidimensional array of a memory device thereby modifying a functionality of the specialized memory device. The multidimensional array is scanned with respect to the technical skill based software tags and matrix based weightings are generated. A group of users is automatically selected hardware devices are automatically connected to the messaging hardware device.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method by an electronic message server includes determining that an electronic message for delivery to a first user comprises sensitive content. Prior to transmitting the electronic message to a client device associated with the first user, the electronic message server requests at least one device attribute from the client device associated with the first user. The at least one device attribute is received from the client device associated with the user. Based on the at least one device attribute, the electronic message server masks the sensitive content such that the masked sensitive content is unreadable within the electronic message. The electronic message that includes the masked content that is unreadable within the electronic message is transmitted to the client device associated with the first user.

Abstract: A method and system for automating some aspects of a recruiting process, which may implement rules permitting the processes of sourcing candidates, setting up job interviews, and responding to candidate questions to all be automated with a computer. Such a system may match résumé s and job descriptions with a scoring system, and may initiate communications between one or more candidates and a recruiter once an appropriate number of matches have been found. The system may then be configured to field responses to commonly asked questions from a question database, and notify the recruiter if a question is asked that it cannot answer, and may further be configured to proactively ask questions to the candidate if desired. This may allow recruiters to focus on the highest level of vetting, and on aspects of the recruitment process such as promoting the hiring company and salary negotiations.
