Patent number: 10190242Abstract: This application describes a method of preparation of a natural graphene cellulose blended spunbond nonwoven fabric, which comprises using a graphite powder as a raw material for preparing a graphene solution, adding the graphene solution to a slurry formed by mixing and dissolving a wood pulp with N-methylmorpholine N-oxide (NMMO), removing the water content thereof to form a spinning dope, and then directly preparing the natural graphene cellulose blended spunbond nonwoven fabric by a spunbond process. The present method does not require a highly toxic hydrazine hydrate solution. Further, by increasing the adding ratio of the graphene solution in the manufacturing process, control of the antistatic properties and thermal transferring function can be achieved, and thereby various requirements of different consumers can be satisfied. Besides, the fabric can decompose naturally after being used, and thus the product is harmless, natural, and environmentally friendly.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2016Date of Patent: January 29, 2019Assignee: ACELON CHEMICALS AND FIBER CORPORATIONInventors: Wen-Tung Chou, Ming-Yi Lai, Kun-Shan Huang, Shao-Hua Chou, Chia-Yu Hsu

Patent number: 10190253Abstract: Nanoparticle treated fibrous articles, such as fabrics, fibers, filaments, or yarns, include a plurality of exposed, nonionic metal nanoparticles non-covalently affixed thereto. Metal nanoparticles, particularly spherical-shaped metal nanoparticles which have solid cores, can be strongly affixed to fibrous articles without covalently bonds and/or without being encapsulated within a polymer or adhesive. Spherical metal nanoparticles appear to adhere to fibrous articles by Van der Waals forces. Because they are nonionic, spherical nanoparticles are not easily removed by solvents, water, surfactants, and soaps and remain after several washings, sometimes up to 50 or more washings. Nonetheless, they readily detach from fibrous articles when contacted by microbes and then kill or denature the microbes.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2015Date of Patent: January 29, 2019Assignee: ATTOSTAT, INCInventor: William Harold Niedermeyer

Patent number: 10190281Abstract: This invention puts forward a sectional modular large-deformation-resistant impact-resistant composite rock bolt and its assembling method. The outer anchor module of this composite rock bolt consists of the outer anchor end, anchor tubes and anchor piers, all of which are bonded with the borehole wall through the anchorage agent to act as a full-grouted bolt. And the inner anchor module consists of the outer anchor end, anchor piers, springs and threaded rod. The threaded rod, under the traction by the outer anchor end, presses the inner anchor springs to distribute the anchoring force to the anchor piers, which then pass such force as a pressure to the anchoring agent, thus playing the role of a pressure-dispersive anchor.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 2016Date of Patent: January 29, 2019Inventor: Guoan Xu

Patent number: 10190287Abstract: An industrial machine that includes a plurality of components, an identification tag reader, an actuator, and a controller. The plurality of components is installed in the industrial machine and each of the plurality of components includes an identification tag. The identification tag reader is receives a signal from each of the plurality of identification tags, and each signal received from the plurality of identification tags is specific to a respective one of the plurality of components. The controller identifies the plurality of components that is installed in the industrial machine based on the signals from each of the plurality of identification tags, compares the identified plurality of components to a predetermined list of components that are expected to be installed in the industrial machine, and modifies an operational setting of an operating parameter when the identified plurality of components does not match the predetermined list of components.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2017Date of Patent: January 29, 2019Assignee: Joy Global Surface Mining IncInventors: John Koetz, Matt Reiland, Wesley P.
