Abstract: A three-layered shoe construction having an outsole with a first flexible area and a second flexible area located in the vicinity of both the forefoot area and the hind foot area, the second flexible area being more flexible than the first flexible area, and further including a cavity housing a plurality of protrusions therewithin; a dual density midsole having a first density in the forefoot area and a second density in the hind foot area, the second density being greater than the first density; and an insole having a top face which includes a plurality of raised projections forming a geometric pattern that starts in the vicinity of the midfoot area and spirals outwardly towards both the toe area and the heel area, the plurality of raised projections increasing in size as they approach the toe and heel areas. The specific construction associated with the outsole, midsole and insole enhance flexibility, cushioning, comfort and breathability.

The sole member can be manufactured using a system that modifies the heel cushioning of the sole member over a series of footwear purchases. The modifications can be configured to correspond to a customer's evaluation of the heel cushioning previously purchased. The sole member can include a set of apertures that are formed along various surfaces of the sole member to adjust the cushioning characteristics of the sole member.

Abstract: A high heel footwear including a heel tip assembly and a heel assembly. The heel tip assembly includes a top lift abutting against the heel, a rigid shaft member having a threaded portion, and a first wedge-lock feature configured to prevent the top lift from rotating. The heel assembly includes a threaded insert, a spring, a hollow insert, and a second wedge-lock feature. The threaded insert is received inside an opening formed in the heel to receive the threaded portion of the rigid shaft member. The spring is also received inside the opening and abuts against the threaded insert. The hollow insert abuts against the spring. The rigid shaft member passes through the threaded insert, the spring, and the hollow insert. The second wedge-lock feature locks with the first wedge-lock feature to retain the top lift on the end of the heel.

Abstract: An upper for an article of footwear is disclosed. The upper can include a plurality of layers, such as an inner layer, a middle knit layer, and an outer layer. Each of the plurality of layers can provide different functionalities to the upper. The combination of the inner layer, middle knit layer, and the outer layer can be effective at transferring a load from the underfoot region to a position above the biteline.

Abstract: A system and method for manufacturing an upper of the footwear by additively depositing material to form a fabric element having a plurality of threads, and incorporating the fabric element into the footwear. The plurality of threads of the fabric element may form at least one texture. Additionally or alternatively, the fabric element may be manufactured with a shape that conforms to a 3-D contoured surface.

Abstract: A decorative button attachment device includes a generally T-shaped frame that is in communication with the main body having a decorative element along the front surface and having a pair of elongated posts that extend outward from the back surface. The pair of elongated posts include a shape, size and separation distance that is complementary to the known shape, size and separation distance of the apertures of a clothing button to be removably secured therein. A fastener having a pair of openings engages the distal ends of the posts and secures the device to the button.

Abstract: A belt connection structure of a wearable product is provided. A first transmission rack is provided on a side wall of a first elongate hole. A second transmission rack is provided on a side wall of a second elongate hole facing the first transmission rack. A gear is engaged with the first and second transmission racks respectively. The inner side wall of the sleeve is provided with teeth extending in the axial direction. At least two annular grooves are formed on the outer side wall of the sleeve. A belt button is mounted on the sleeve, and comprises a pressing portion and a connecting column. The pressing portion and the connecting column are slidable in the axial direction but are not rotatable relative to each other. Position limiting teeth are provided on the outer side surface of the connecting column.

Abstract: A watchband can comfortably secure an electronic device to a wrist of a user. The watchband can include a base having a contact surface opposite an engagement surface, contact loops on the contact surface for contacting a user, and engagement loops on the engagement surface for engaging hooks. The hooks can be provided on the engagement surface, opposite some of the contact loops. The base can include base threads, and the contact loops and engagement loops can be formed by contact threads and engagement threads woven about some of the base threads between the contact surface and the engagement surface. Between adjacent engagement loops, the engagement thread can be more securely attached to the base than is the contact thread between adjacent contact loops.

The sealing member has an aperture defining a circumference configured to encircle the audio port of the installed electronic device and form a water-proof seal between the installed electronic device and the sealing member of the protective case. The protective case includes a vent mesh covering the aperture of the sealing member and configured to allow air to pass through the vent mesh and to resist the flow of water through the vent mesh.

Abstract: A strap attachment device includes a strap connector configured to attach to a strap and a connecting plate secured on the surface of an article such as a bag or suitcase. The strap connector includes a connector post configured to removably engage and be secured by a locking member located beneath the connecting plate. The locking member is biased into a closed position by a mechanical biasing means, such as a spring. The connector post may include a flanged end configured to partially disengage the locking member causing the flanged end to mate with and be secured by the locking member responsive to being inserted into the connecting plate. A pull tab is further disposed on a pull track within the connecting plate. A user can disengage the connector post from the locking member by moving the pull tab along the pull track.

The apparatus holds an elastic hair band internally with a tensioning structure that either slightly extends from the internal wall of the apparatus or is recessed into the internal wall, holding an elastic hair band against the apparatus body when the band is stretched around the structure in slight tension. Alternatively, the apparatus may hold the elastic hair band on one end of a u-shaped apparatus where it serves as a removable fastening mechanism of the two ends, but is not necessary to keep the apparatus on the wrist.

The following pin has an external portion that engages a handle, and an internal portion that engages the biasing element. A scrubbing element is coupled with the attachment end of the tube member and rotationally fixed therewith. When the handle is pressed towards the attachment end and the handle is prevented from rotating about the tube member, the tube member rotates to rotate the scrubber element. The apparatus thereby provides rotational movement of the scrubber to be generated from only linear movement of the handle provided by a user.
