Abstract: It is suggested to provide a line marking device having a GNSS receiver or prism for a robotic total station. The line marking device further has at least one spray nozzle and a comparator adapted to compare a detected location to a predetermined pattern. The comparator calculates a location and/or a direction error. Further the line marking device has a prompting device for providing steering information to a user. The provided information is the location and/or direction error. The at least one spray nozzle and the GNSS receiver or the prism are in a fixed spatial relation to a connecting element, which is connected or connectable to an unmovable receiving element of a cart.

Abstract: In some embodiments, the disclosed subject matter involves automatically calibrating and adapting the configuration of a virtual reality (VR) session to accommodate user tolerances and experience preferences. In a test mode, a user is presented with content related to VR metrics. The user rates the content based on VR performance tolerance, which may be affected by user limitations, environmental characteristics, or personal preference. An initial set of calibration settings is generated based on the ratings, which may be used to configure the VR session for the user. Sensor data is collected during runtime to enable dynamic and automatic re-calibration of the settings. The VR rendering uses the calibration (e.g., re-calibration) settings to render VR content for the user.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for adjusting a game scene are set forth herein. The method includes receiving heart rate information of a user, wherein the user wears the computing device to play the game, and based on the received heart rate information of the user, adjusting at least one element in the game scene of the game. By using a smart wearable device to acquire the heart rate information of the user playing the game, the game scene of the game can be adjusted according to the heart rate information. Therefore, the game can be made to be more interesting by receiving multi-dimensional interaction information of the user.

The system also includes a sensor configured to detect a user interaction with a user input device and transmit a second sensor signal associated with the user interaction. The system further includes a processor configured to: receive the first sensor signal; receive the second sensor signal; execute a function based at least in part on the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal. The processor is also configured to: determine a haptic effect based at least in part on the first sensor signal or the second sensor signal; and transmit a haptic signal associated with the haptic effect to a haptic output device configured to receive the haptic signal and output the haptic effect.

The button-based control mechanism includes a button, the button including a user-depressible button top and a button stem, and a button depression guide disposed within an internal cavity of the user input device that engages with the button stem to cause the button to move from a default position and along a substantially arc-shaped path when pressure is applied to the button top. The substantially arc-shaped path may be around an axis of rotation that is external to the user input device. The button-based control mechanism further includes a button biasing mechanism disposed within the internal cavity that returns the button to the default position when the pressure is removed from the button top and at least one sensor that detects actuation of the button responsive to the movement of the button away from the default position.

One part of the rolling base is pivotally connected to the first rolling component, and one part of the rolling supporting body is pivotally connected to the second rolling component, so that the rolling base can rotate around the roll center line and a cone rotation can be performed. A length-adjustable actuator is disposed on the rolling supporting body, so that rectilinear motion with orthogonal direction can be performed by the rolling base on the radius tangent of cone rotation.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for improving ease in transmitting information between peer devices. Communications devices establish a peer group. Each communications device in the group assigns different sections of its touchscreen to the other devices in the group. To transfer information to another device in the group, the user swipes on the touchscreen towards the assigned section for the target communications device. Upon detecting the swipe, and determining that the swipe was towards the assigned section, the communications device initiates a transfer of the information to the target communications device. This may involve confirmation at the device or a paired device before transfer, or no confirmation. Receipt of the information at the target communications device may trigger notifications to be displayed. It may also trigger a request for acceptance of the transfer at the target communications device after which receipt is confirmed.

Abstract: A system includes a visual display ecosystem and a smart device communicating with each other through a short-range wireless bidirectional communication link. The system enables user creation of a display spatial data template in the visual display ecosystem and storage of the display spatial data template in the smart device located outside the visual display ecosystem. The user creates the display spatial data template in real time during application program operation by manipulating an input device connected to a command processing device on which the application program is operating. The user can retrieve the stored display spatial data template during application program operation at a later time. The system is advantageous in that the storage and retrieval of the display spatial data template makes minimal use of the ecosystem resources, including processing power, bandwidth capacity, and display screen real estate.

A session of the video game for a primary user is initiated, and a social project is initiated within the session of the video game. One or more secondary users are determined from a social graph of the primary user. A message requesting help to complete the social project is sent to the one or more secondary users, the message including a low-friction response mechanism. Upon activation of the low-friction response mechanism of the request, a response is received indicating an intent to help complete the social project from a responsive secondary user. Upon receiving the response, automated animation of an avatar of the responsive secondary user is triggered within the primary user's session of the video game so as to collaborate on the social project.

Abstract: A method for removing contaminants such as pesticides and fungicides from cannabinoid extracts. Cannabinoid extracts containing contaminants may be dissolved in a water and ethanol solution, and then cooled to allow water-soluble contaminants to settle out of the mixture. The water and ethanol may then be removed via evaporation or distillation, leaving purified cannabinoids without contaminants. Contaminant removal may be incorporated into a method for producing a blended extract of cannabinoids and terpenes, which extracts terpenes using supercritical CO2, and extracts a cannabinoid concentrate from the residual material using a cold ethanol flush followed by distillation and then by contaminant removal; the CO2-extracted terpenes are then added back to the purified cannabinoid concentrate in a final blending step. Blending terpenes at the end of extraction may enhance the flavor and effectiveness of the purified cannabinoid concentrate.

Abstract: A grease filter, which includes a first channel having an inlet portion through which oil particles flow in, and a first guide unit configured to guide the oil particles flowing in through the inlet portion, and a second channel having an outlet portion through which the oil particles and air current flowing in through the inlet portion is discharged into the outside, and at least one second guide unit configured to guide the oil particles and air current to be discharged through the outlet portion. Here, the first channel and the second channel are detachably provided. The grease filter can be easily repaired and maintained, and collection efficiency can be improved due to such a configuration.

Abstract: There are disclosed a novel air cleaner of which the air-cleaning ability per unit volume is improved as compared to conventional air cleaners, and which operates with less power consumption in the case where the novel air cleaner has the same level of performance as a conventional air cleaner; and a humidifier and a deodorizing machine which include the same. The air cleaner includes a disc; a motor for rotating the disc; a filter A which is cylindrical as a whole, which is provided on the disc, and which surrounds an inner-side region including a rotational center of the disc, the filter A being bent into wave-shape such that irregularities of the wave are formed in radial direction of the disc; and at least one type of air resistor which is provided on the disc and provided on either an inner side or an outer side, or both inner and outer sides of the filter A.
