A data processing system can provide a third-party content item for rendering on a first client computing device and store information indicative of such rendering. The data processing system can detect a realization action associated with a second client computing device and correlating the realization action with the rendering of the third-party content item based on the stored information indicative of the rendering. The data processing system can then update a realization action parameter associated with the third-party content item in response to correlating the realization action with the rendering of the third-party content item.

Abstract: Access requests to a database are monitored for average time taken to fulfill the requests and whether a queue of unfulfilled requests is building up beyond an acceptable threshold. When the queue has built up beyond the acceptable threshold and/or when the average time taken to fulfill the requests has exceeded a delay threshold value, database access requests may be rejected. In one advantageous aspect, a graceful degradation in performance may be achieved by selectively rejecting access requests of a lower priority and favoring access requests of a higher priority for execution.

Information for target garments may be generated in a similar fashion. A system may then create a standardized scale with a set of sizes for a target, and map a client base size to that standardized size scale. Similar matching and mapping may also be done with shape and style considerations. A recommendation based on the mapping may then be communicated to the client.

Abstract: A network-based service may be provided for facilitating queries for a number of items, such as travel services. A user may submit a query including criteria for determining relevant items. The network-based service may be configured to generate opaque search results in response to queries, revealing sufficient detail to allow the user to confirm the relevance of the travel item, but insufficient detail to disclose the identity of the supplier. Based on the submitted query or other information, the network-based service may associate a persona with the user, such as the persona of a business or leisure traveler. The network-based service may use the persona to determine a travel item or items best suited to the user, by identifying the travel item attributes that correlate positively with preferences of the persona. The network-based service may then generate an opaque search result that reveals travel item attributes desired by the persona.

An examination space is defined between the base and the head portion for accommodating food items. The illumination device illuminates the food items, and the at least one imaging device captures color images of the food items. The processor applies a machine-learning model for performing image recognition of the food items in the color images to identify each food item. The image recognition is based on features of the food items that include shape, size, and color. An identification of each of the food items is presented on the display.
