Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a false nail, comprising the following steps: a) producing by additive manufacture, from 3D digital data originating from the acquisition of a relief, especially that of the finger intended to receive the false nail, a mold using a first material, b) depositing onto the mold a layer formed from at least one adhesive composition, c) depositing onto the mold at least one layer of a coating of a second material, different from the first, so as to form the false nail.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a cosmetic carrier 10 capable of suppressing swelling even when it is impregnated with a cosmetic having flowability, and to provide a cosmetic container 30 housing the same. The cosmetic carrier 10 for impregnating and holding the cosmetic having flowability is formed of a fibrous aggregate having a core-sheath structure.

Abstract: This invention offers improvements over the diaper rash cream applicator that I described in U.S. Pat. No. 8,920,059. The earlier invention provided an applicator apparatus and lid to facilitate one-handed application of diaper rash cream or other therapeutic cream. The present invention comprises the same essential parts and provides three particular improvements. First, this version has two sets of female screw threads, which fit two common neck diameters for squeeze tubes. Second, the new version has an improved applicator apparatus with a nozzle and a soft, flexible tip with opening flap, providing smoother and more even application of cream than the previous embodiment. Third, the present invention adds a tongue to the lid's interior. When the tube is stored in the lid, the tongue presses the soft, flexible tip of the applicator apparatus firmly against the opening of the nozzle, creating a leakproof and airtight seal.

The mask body includes a facial mask layer and a holding device including at least two ear mask layers integrally extended from two side portions of the facial mask layer and/or a chin mask layer integrally extended from a bottom portion of the facial mask layer, adapted for overlaying on the skin surfaces of the face, the ears and/or the chin of the user respectively for skin care treatment of the facial skin surface of the user while the to holding device is adapted for wearing the facial mask layer on the user's face by holding to the ears of the user.

Abstract: A makeup application assist device includes an image acquisition circuitry which, in operation, acquires a user face image, a target face image, and an adjusted face image, an image determination circuitry which, in operation, adopts a makeup item assigned to each of face parts in the target face image if a difference value between a facial feature extracted from the user face image and a facial feature extracted from the target face image is less than or equal to a threshold value and adopts a makeup item assigned in the adjusted face image for each on a subset of the face parts having the feature that differs from the feature in the target face image if the difference value is greater than the threshold value, and an information generation circuitry which, in operation, generates makeup procedure information to be presented to a user, where the makeup procedure information includes a procedure for using the adopted makeup items.

Abstract: A removal and re-application board for hair extensions and process of using same. The board contains at least 3 serially spaced apart lines (linear or curvilinear), vertically or radially spaced apart. Hair extension bands are mounted on, above or below the lines. Board indicia conveys sequential band removal and board placement, and then band board-dismount and re-application sequential order data to re-apply the hair bands on a user's head. When the bands are on-board, the bands from a columnar matrix; therefore the serially spaced apart lines provide board-mounting and board dismounting data to the stylist (board-mounting is hair band removal; board dismounting is band re-application). The indicia and the serially spaced apart lines allow for hair bands to be easily stored (board-mounted) and organized, such that the hair bands can be reliably re-applied to substantially the same location on a user's head.

Abstract: A dual-configuration chair and backpack having at least one storage compartment with a back panel and a bottom panel held in rigid orientation to each other at a predetermined angle by an integral tubular frame having a two generally U-shaped frame portions fixed at the selected angle. A deployable seat is rotatably affixed to a lower edge of the back panel and includes a flat foam cushion formed at an angle complementary to the angle between the back and bottom panels of the backpack. When used as a seat the flat serves as a cushion under the buttocks of the user. When used as a backpack the flat is rotated up to the back panel such that the complementary angles position the cushion for proper lumbar and back support of the backpack load.

Abstract: A device for holding a hand-held computer is provided. The device includes a holder and a mount for receiving and locking the holder. The holder includes a clamp for holding the hand-held computer, a short peg extending from a surface of the clamp, and a circular engaging end attaching to a distal end of the short peg. The mount includes a front wall, a back wall separated from the front wall by side walls, a slot being formed in the front wall and having two opposite arcing side walls, and a circular engaging opening in the slot terminating at respective first ends of the two opposite arcing side walls to lock the short peg and the circular engaging end.

Abstract: A holster and methods of use are provided for storing a smartphone or other electronic device of a user in motion. The holster includes a protection pocket with an open top end configured to receive the device. The holster also includes a closure flap disposed adjacent to the open top end and configured to move between an open position in which the device is exposed and a closed position in which the device is fully enveloped within the protection pocket and the closure flap. The holster may further include an adjustable flap fastener configured to secure the closure flap against the front surface of the protection pocket at a variety of heights to accommodate different device footprints, and an adaptable attachment mechanism configured to selectively secure the holster in an attached configuration upon the user's appendage or an article of the user's clothing. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

The upper cover may be used as a tooth mug and is detachably mounted on the base. The holder may be provided on the container. When the holder is unfolded, a mobile phone may be disposed on the holder, and the cleaning process may be observed through the mobile phone in real time. The oral cleaning kit has the advantages of carrying convenience, simple use and hygiene.

Each of the covers may be opened permitting access to the paint well or closed against the upstanding walls of the paint well and the sealing member. The storage unit may further include drawer slides and a palette slidable on the drawer slides relative to the storage unit to reveal or conceal the palette. When bristles of a paint brush are placed in the paint well, its handle rests upon the resilient sealing member which compresses around the handle when the cover is closed to provide a substantially air-tight seal.

The container includes a flat load carrying surface for carrying items and corner fittings having a collar for cooperatively engaging with one end of support legs to support the container. The support leg has an external plug provided with a pocket having this spaced side walls at one end and an internal cavity surrounded by an enlarged flange at the other end. The lower end of a spacer for spacing apart two containers is received in the pocket of the support and the other end of the spacer is received within the internal cavity of the support leg which is provided with a guide for guiding movement of the spacer to adopt and maintain the correct vertical orientation to form a stable array of vertically stacked containers. The advantage of the stillage formed using the support leg and spacer is that a stable stacked array is formed enabling safe transport of items in the containers without risk of damage to the items.

The vending system includes one or more hanging brackets and a plurality of modules that are selectively engageable on the hanging brackets. Each module includes a support bracket that is securable to the hanging brackets; a panel that is engaged with the support bracket; one or more sensors provided in or on the panel; pusher assemblies provided on the support bracket and extending across a portion of the panel and a door that extends across an opening to the module. When the door is closed none of the product inside the module is visible. A computer may be operatively engaged with the sensors and is provided with programming to track products stocked in the vending system and removed therefrom.

The automatically adjustable seating apparatus include first and second seat bottom portions that at least one of which is moveable. The first and/or second seat bottom portions are moveable by automatic adjusters that alter the position of a seat bottom portion between a retracted position and an extended position. When the moveable seat bottom portion or portions are in their retracted position, the automatically adjustable seating apparatus is configured as two seats back-to-back, and when the seat bottom portion or portions are in their extended positions, the automatically adjustable seating apparatus forms a substantially flat surface.

Abstract: The invention is to a type of disassemblable folding chair that includes supports legs on two sides and an upholstered seat back. The support legs include front-tilting support bars and rear-tilting support bars that are cross-hinged with movable hinge joints. Within this structure, the front-tilting support bars on the two sides and the rear-tilting support bars on the two sides are joined together by two cross-hinged diagonal bars. One end of the diagonal bars is directly hinged onto the two front-tilting and rear-tilting support bars; the other end is hinged on the front-tilting and rear-tilting support bars via a detachable structure. When disassembled, the two support legs can be folded together.

Abstract: An adjustable chair frame with a back and seating surfaces that flex to conform to the shape, weight and movement of an occupant is disclosed. The chair form and proportions provide for a recumbent position that disperses the weight of the occupant more evenly, thereby reducing external and internal physiological point loading. The form also provides ergonomic articulation to minimize internal physiological stresses such as neck/back vertebral compression. Eccentric connections driven by a motor assembly allow positioning adjustment of the components of the chair. Additionally, an air pump assembly may be included to automatically adjust one or more air bladders provided on the interior of the chair frame.

In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair for supporting a person while the buoyant pool chair is floating in water, frame members collectively form an open chair frame including a back frame and leg frame pivotally coupled thereto. Buoyant cushions are attached to the frame members to form a chair seat, a backrest, and a leg rest. A pair of rear pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies are coupled to the seat frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of recline of the back frame relative to the seat frame. Similarly, a pair of front pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies coupled to the leg frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of extension of the leg frame relative to the seat frame.

In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair, frame members collectively form an open chair frame with buoyant cushions forming a chair seat and a backrest as well as a left arm rest and a right arm rest. The left arm rest and the right arm rest are each intersected by a cup holder. A recess in the cup holder has a forward tilt relative to a horizontal axis having an angle between approximately 20 degrees and approximately 40 degrees toward the front end of the buoyant pool lounge chair. In operation, when the buoyant pool lounge chair is supporting a person while the buoyant pool chair is floating in water, the forward tilt of the cup holder provides a compensating-leveling mechanism that mitigates spilling of liquid in the cup when the cup is placed within the cup holder.

The bed frame includes a support rack, and the support rack has two threaded posts erected on two sides thereof individually. The two rotary arms are connected with the support rack, and each of the two rotary arms has a threaded orifice defined on a first end thereof so as to screw with each of the two threaded posts, and each rotary arm has a light emitting element mounted on a second end thereof. In use, each rotary arm is adjustably rotated to a desired angle. Each rotary arm is rotatably retracted back to an original position of the support rack, as not using the light emitting element. Thereby, the bedside lamp structure is simplified, operated easily, and used conveniently.

Abstract: A data processing system is configured to sense a pressure readings of an air-mattress. If the pressure readings are below a target pressure value representing a desired pressure for the air-mattress, the data processing system can transmit, to an air-pump, first instructions to increase the air pressure of the air mattress and determine a replacement value representing the amount of air pumped into the air mattress by the air-pump. The data processing system can compare the replacement value to a slow-leak threshold and to a catastrophic-leak threshold. The data processing system can, responsive to a determination that the replacement value is greater than the slow-leak value and less than the catastrophic-leak value, transmit, to the air-pump, second instructions to increase the air pressure of the air mattress to replace air in the air mattress lost to a slow leak so as to maintain the desired pressure for the air-mattress.

Abstract: A computer-shaped motion bed system includes a mattress having embedded therein an array of disks, a sensor array for sensing body position on the mattress, an array of actuators, and an array of connectors for connecting each of a plurality of the disks embedded in the mattress to each of a plurality of the actuators. The system includes a controller having a processor coupled to a data store and in communication with the array of actuators, and programmed, upon receiving signals from the sensor array, to cause the a subset of the array of actuators to pull on a subset of the array of connectors, thereby pulling on a subset of the array of disks embedded in the mattress, so as to alter contours of a surface of the mattress, whereby the mattress is caused to increase comfort of a user, match contours of the user's body, or better support the user's body.

Abstract: There are various rocking swinging beds available in the market. These conventional cradle beds allow access to a baby from two opposite sides since other two opposite sides have pivoting points for cradle. Further, these beds do not come with any safety mechanism to save a baby from crawling out of it which is very serious safety issue because every baby starts to crawl sooner or later. Moreover, in some beds, babies are tied with straps to the bed to prevent them from falling down which is very uncomfortable for baby if baby wants to change sides. This new baby bed allows parents to easily access baby from the bed with almost 3 sides being available to access baby from. Also, while a baby is sleeping in the bed, the bed should be secured so the baby cannot crawl out of it, and so forth. In addition, a bed must be able to secure a baby in a convenient way while allowing sufficient movement for the baby.

The one or more dividers may be engaged to a front rail in two different conditions, locked and unlocked. In a locked condition, the relationship between the divider and the front rail resists alteration in any direction with respect to each other. In the unlocked condition, the dividers may be freely slid laterally along the front rail, while remaining perpendicular to the front rail. The one or more dividers may lock to the front rail through the use of corresponding teeth, resilient surfaces, a locking tab, a locking bar and/or a cam that may define a cam glide.

Abstract: A system and method for monitoring the amount of alcoholic beverages dispensed from bottles in a business establishment that serves alcoholic beverages. The system and method uses a pair of scales located on opposite ends of at least one shelf upon which are positioned bottles of alcoholic beverages. The scales detect changes in weight on the shelf and provide that data, along with calibration data, to a system database and a processor which analyzes all that data to detect a change of weight of the shelf as well as position on that shelf of where that change of weight occurred. A point of sale system of the business establishment is also in communication with the system database/processor so that change of weight data, position data and sales data can be analyzed to display revenue and cost data on a computer including a software application that configures the computer for displaying spreadsheets of all of this data.

Abstract: There is described a lighting device for illuminating a display space comprising a structure mounted about the display space comprising an elongated housing comprising a bottom extremity and a front edge, an opening being defined between the bottom extremity and the front edge, the bottom extremity at a height defining a horizon line and the front edge located above the horizon line; and a light source mounted within the housing entirely above the horizon line and for producing an illumination area bound by and exiting the opening.

Abstract: A mirror system including a flat non-magnifying mirror and an inset magnifying mirror provides an installation that is aesthetically pleasing and has reduced susceptibility to damage, for installation in locations such as hotel rooms and hotel bathrooms. The magnifying mirror is inset in an aperture defined by the larger non-magnifying mirror and is either fixed in place by bonding to the edges of the aperture or using a backer, or is extendable from an extension arm that is recessed in a box that extends into a wall behind the mirror system when installed. The extension arm may be a swing arm, a telescoping arm or a scissor arm that is fastened to the back or a side of the box.

Abstract: Contour sheets or fitted sheets having a mattress cover surface and a plurality of side surfaces are provided with at least one resilient member extendible in a vertical direction along the depth of a mattress in at least a portion of one of the side surfaces. Alternatively, sets of resilient members sandwiched between one or more layers of fabrics can be provided to prevent direct exposure to heat and other detrimental conditions that the contour sheets may be subjected to during routine wear and laundry. A method of making such contour sheets can include steps of cutting a generally polygonal shaped cut-out to form an opening at the corners of a base fabric, coupling at least one resilient member along at least one edge of the opening and sewing adjacent edges of the opening together.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a sleeve that has a peel-off appliqué or label that includes desired graphics that can be combined with a drink cup or container. The label or appliqué or “collectable” acts as a “mini-poster” that is removable and repositionable. The label may have graphics of sports starts or other things such as musical performers, super heroes, etc. Particular embodiments include interior die cut images within the main graphic as “collectibles within a collectible.

Abstract: An eating utensil adapted for feeding infants includes an elongated handle, having a neck connected to a first end of the elongated handle; a feeding head secured to the neck, the feeding head having a soft outer shell; and a core composed of cotton and extending from the neck into an interior of the feeding head; the core maintains the shape of the feeding head; the soft outer shell provides a barrier between an infant's mouth and the core.
