Abstract: A pad wetness detection method and a pad wetness detection device are provided. The pad wetness detection method includes the following steps. A plurality of initial electrical records of a medical pad are obtained via two detecting areas after a pad wetness detection device is coupled to the two detecting areas of the medical pad. A threshold value is obtained via a learning algorithm according to the initial electrical records. At least one measured electrical record of the medical pad is obtained via the two detecting areas. Whether the at least one measured electrical record reaches the threshold value is determined and a warning signal is outputted accordingly.

Abstract: A trolley (1), for a beam-mounted supply unit, for fastening medical devices to a ceiling. The trolley has a chassis (2) which can be meshed with a rail track of the beam-mounted supply unit for moving the trolley (1) along the rail track. A medical device can be fastened to the trolley (1). The trolley has a brake unit (3) with at least one braking element (7), which exerts a braking force on the rail track and/or on the chassis in the activated state of the brake unit (3), so that a movement of the chassis along the rail track is at least made difficult compared to an operating state with the brake unit (3) deactivated. In the activated state of the brake unit (3), the braking force exerted by the braking element (7) on the rail track and/or on the chassis is generated without the aid of electric energy.

Abstract: An improved therapeutic roller device comprising a cylindrical core and roller members originating from said cylindrical core. The roller members are separated, from each other, by a distance that is intended to generate lateral stretch on a muscle or other soft tissue. The amount of lateral stretch placed on a muscle, or other soft tissue, is proportional to the distance between roller elements up to a maximum distance at which lateral stretch can no longer be achieved. The diameter of the roller members determines the amount of longitudinal stretch placed on a muscle or other soft tissue. Additional longitudinal stretch is attained by ribbing of the roller members so that the roller members have projections. The length of the projections and distance between subsequent projections determine the extent of additional longitudinal stretch that can be placed on a muscle or other soft tissue.

Abstract: Hybrid amphiphilic star copolymer nano micelles are prepared in the invention. Cage shaped octa(?-aminopropyl) silsesquioxanes is selected as the inorganic part, and L-glutamic benzyl ester-five membered ring anhydride is ring-opening polymerized by the initiation of amino groups on the surface of cage shaped octa(?-aminopropyl) silsesquioxanes, producing copolymers with cage shaped octa(?-aminopropyl) silsesquioxanes as nucleus and poly (L-glutamic-benzyl ester) as arms. The copolymers reacts with monomethoxy poly (ethylene glycol) carboxylic acid by condensation. Finally, the benzyl groups in the side chains of poly (L-glutamic acid-benzyl ester) are converted into hydrazine groups by acylhydrazination to obtain hybrid amphiphilic star copolymer nano micelles. The micelles can load doxorubicin, they are safe to human body and have good application prospects.
