Abstract: The invention is an apparatus and method used to ergonomically remove and manage perspiration on the human body during exercise, manual labor, or any activity that requires the removal of perspiration. The apparatus is constructed from moisture absorbing, wicking and elastic materials fashioned as a sleeve or wrap and positioned on the body at locations that the wearer would remove sweat through natural body movement.

Abstract: A panel covers a release mechanism of a garment and enables the mounting of pouches and equipment thereon. The panel includes a reinforcement structure, a fabric having mounting slots wound over the reinforcement structure, and a securing mechanism that secures the panel to the release mechanism of the garment. Also, a garment may include a built-in panel that covers a release mechanism and enables mounting of pouches and equipment thereon. The garment includes a main garment portion, a release mechanism extending from an open end of the garment, and the built-in panel incorporated into the main garment portion.

Abstract: Various methods are used to attach hair extensions to a user's hair. According to one method, a user's hair is parted and adhesive tape of a first extension is attached to hair above the part. The first extension and attached hair are lowered, and a second extension is positioned above the lowered extension such that adhesive tape of the second extension substantially aligns with the first extension's tape. The second extension's tape is attached to the user's hair to sandwich the hair between the two extensions. According to another method, a user's hair is parted and a first adhesive tape on one side of an extension is attached to hair below the part. Hair above the part is lowered and attached to the extension's other side using a second tape. A third tape is attached to the user's hair below the first tape to seal the hair between the tapes.

Abstract: Systems and methods for anatomy shading and the garments that result therefrom are provided herein. More specifically, anatomy shading is any deliberate manipulation or addition of shading (a brightness gradient) to a garment in order to change the perceived shape of a wearer of the garment toward a desired appearance.

Abstract: A baseball cap and method of assembling thereof is provided. The cap includes a crown that is formed from a single sheet or single piece of stretchable fabric, such as using heat pressing techniques. The cap further includes a support layer, such as made from buckram, which is attached to an interior, front portion of the crown, and a visor and a band which are attached to the crown. The crown has a hemispherical shape. In one example, the crown can include a back portion thereof which has been removed to form an open area across which an adjuster is attached. In another example, a front portion of the single-panel crown can be removed and replaced with a front panel made of a different material to form a modified crown.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods for the modulation of appearance or material properties within items of apparel or equipment. Also provided herein are design articles having alterable designs. Generally, such design articles comprise (1) a microfluidic circuit, and (2) an inlet and an outlet, the alterable design capable of being modulated through use of a docking system to deliver fluid to the microfluidic circuit.

Abstract: A shoe has a sensor system operably connected to a communication port. Performance data is collected by the system and can be transferred for further use via the communication port. The shoe may contain an electronic module configured to gather data from the sensors. The module may also transmit the data to an external device for further processing. Users can use the collected data for a variety of different uses or applications.

Abstract: Waterproof, breathable socks, booties, shoe inserts, and footwear assemblies containing the shoe inserts are provided. The booties and shoe inserts may include a laminate comprising a seamless extensible film, such as a polyurethane film, and at least one textile. The bootie is suitable for a range of sizes and shoe shapes. The bootie may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, an asymmetrical last having a desired size to form a shoe insert. A bootie having a seamless extensible film eliminates the need to have multiple sizes of shoe inserts correlating to particular shoe sizes. In embodiments where the polyurethane film is seamless and continuous, the shoe insert eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make shoe inserts waterproof. Methods of forming the socks, booties, and shoe inserts are also provided.

The assembly includes a flexible panel having a first side, a second side and a perimeter edge extending around and between the first side and the second side. The panel is positionable in an extended position and a folded position. A plurality of pockets is coupled to the first side of the panel. Each of the pockets has a respective first end being open to provide access to an interior of an associated one of the pockets. The pockets are vertically stacked relative to each other when the panel is in the folded position. A plurality of supports is coupled to the panel. The lid is formed of one of the largest panels of the box-structure, and is joined to the main body of the box by a hinge that lets the lid lie flat next to the main body when the box is open. The inside face of the lid then defines a work surface on which to place objects such as foodstuffs and beverages. The work surface may be formed in a substantially rigid molded stiffener member, and may be divided into sub-regions with raised retainers to discourage sliding of objects where not precisely level. The container assembly may include a rigid internal liner with which the lid may mate zipperlessly. The mating portion of the lid may be formed in the same rigid member as the work surface.

Abstract: A re-useable haircutting collar that is water resistant to dripping liquids and hair particles to protect a user's clothing and skin. The collar is made from flexible silicone or latex of a shore rating of extra soft to soft, skin adherent, non-toxic, and is a ring-shaped sheet, with an inner edge, mid-section, and outer edge, and with two opposing ends that overlap. The ends are tightly self-adhering to each other; therefore, the collars do not require fasteners to secure the ends together, and can be easily adjusted to fit any neck size to form a tight, but comfortable water seal. The collar is also lightweight and bendable to lay about vertically against the base of a user's neck and angled along their collarbone. Different collars embodiments also comprise differences in the thickness along the collar width at the top surface to provide different levels of collar flexibility.

Abstract: A device for carrying a surfboard, similar sporting equipment or other objects. One embodiment is comprised of webbing material with fixed loop having a loop buckle that slides along the fixed loop and a strap element that in combination with the loop buckle creates a secondary adjustable loop. The secondary adjustable loop is used to hold a surfboard or other object securely in place and the fixed loop supports the surfboard from one of the user's shoulder allowing hands free operation. When not utilized as a carrier the device can be worn, such as a belt. The user keeps the fixed loop compressed together, wraps the carrier around his/her waist, through the loop buckle and then attaches it back onto itself. A personal flotation device can be attached to the strap element so that the carrier and personal flotation device form a single unit.

The scrubbing unit is comprised of an abrasive material to remove contaminants from a surface.

A method of smoothening bristle filament ends utilizes the end-rounding device.

In some embodiments, the leg supports are movable from an open position to a closed position in which the leg supports are immovably secured to the table for storage. Preferably, the leg supports are disengaged from the legs and generally flush with the bottom surface of the table when the leg supports are in the closed storage position.

Abstract: A workstation is disclosed including a tabletop, a frame, a support coupled to the tabletop and the frame for supporting the tabletop vertically above the frame, and a powered rotator coupled to the frame. The powered rotator may be configured to move the support and the tabletop horizontally along an arcuate path with respect to a user position. The user position and a center of curvature of the arcuate path may each be disposed away from a forward edge of the tabletop. A method of moving a tabletop of a workstation is also disclosed.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed that provides a storage system designed to allow pickers to easily and efficiently pull products from all portions of the storage system from a single side of the storage system. The storage system includes a first storage rack that has a first plurality of columns and a first platform extending from one of the first plurality of columns. An outer edge of the first platform forms an end of the first storage rack. Positioned adjacent to the first storage rack is a second storage rack with a second plurality of columns and a second platform that extends from one of the second plurality of columns, where an outer edge of the second platform forms an end of the second storage rack. An aisle is formed by a predetermined distance between the outer edges of the first and second platforms.

The method involves a determination of the length of the row of racks, assembling a stop rail device to extend that length, and mounting the stop rail device from the respective racks the desired distance lateral of the racks. A pair of integral stop rail devices may be spaced laterally apart to block encroachment of pallets supported on adjacent rows of pallets into a flue space defined between the pair.

Abstract: A device for fixing a push element, in particular a drawer box to a rail of a pull-out guide, the device comprising a clamping mechanism with a receptacle, into which a web-shaped holding part can be inserted, wherein a self-locking clamping element is provided at the receptacle, by means of which the holding part is secured in a clamping manner against being pulled out.
