Publication number: 20190184418Abstract: An adapter to provide illumination at a grease gun nozzle and a method of attaching the adapter to a grease gun is presented. The adapter comprises a body having a threaded aperture, a non-threaded aperture, and a light source secured within the non-threaded aperture such that the distal end of a dispensing hose of a grease gun extends out of the adapter once the adapter is coupled to the dispensing hose. To attach the adapter to a dispensing hose of a grease gun, one must first unscrew the dispensing nozzle from the distal end of the dispensing hose. Next, the adapter is coupled to the distal end of the dispensing hose using the threaded aperture of the adapter. Finally the dispensing nozzle is screwed back on to the distal end of the dispensing hose that is extending out of the adapter.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2017Publication date: June 20, 2019Inventor: MICHAEL L. Publication number: 20190184419Abstract: In a microvolume-liquid dispenser, there is performed an application operation for dispensing a microvolume liquid present in an amount measured in nanoliters or picoliters from a nozzle tip-end opening and applying the microvolume liquid to an application surface. When the application operation has not been performed over a time interval longer than a set time interval ta, a tip-end liquid surface of an application liquid in the nozzle tip-end opening is caused to vibrate at a high amplitude that includes the position of a liquid surface height from immediately before application in the case of application at equal time intervals. The subsequently performed application operation is performed at a point in time when the liquid surface height has returned to the liquid surface height. The operation for applying the microvolume application liquid can be precisely performed in the same manner as when application is performed at equal time intervals.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 27, 2018Publication date: June 20, 2019Applicant: Engineering System Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kazuki TOMITA, Kentaro FUKUDA

Publication number: 20190184421Abstract: The Phillips Smart Edge is a paint application tool with guide means, made of synthetic material and is used for painting in any standard rooms corner in edgeing and trimming. The cornered walls intersecting surface characterized in that the guide means in the form of a roller project outward and parallel (FIG. 2) Metal Bars as they lead downward. Preferably the applicating surface is triangleular as standard walls with the roller overhanging edges which converge toward each other. The paint is applied to surface rapidly and efficiently in use for the Phillips Smart Edge.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 27, 2017Publication date: June 20, 2019Inventor: Howard Marcellus Phillips

Publication number: 20190184423Abstract: Systems and methods that provide or restore a coating to a component are provided. The systems and methods utilized an atomizing spray device. A gas and a slurry that comprises fluid and ceramic particles are supplied to the atomizing spray device. The slurry and gas are discharged from the spray device to form two-phase droplets. The fluid within the droplets evaporates to prevent the fluid from becoming part of the coating as the droplets traverse through the air and prior to impacting the surface of the component.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2019Publication date: June 20, 2019Inventors: Ambarish Kulkarni, Byron Pritchard, Shankar Sivaramakrishnan, Krzysztof Lesnicki, Hrishikesh Keshavan, Bernard Patrick Bewlay, Mehmet Dede, Larry Rosenzweig, Jay Morgan

Publication number: 20190184424Abstract: A vibration generating device that can make a relatively heavy vibration member produce sufficient vibration. A vibration generating device has: a vibration member; multiple actuators that are connected to the vibration member; and a stationary element that supports the vibration member via the multiple actuators. Each of the multiple actuators comprises: a supporting body to which the vibration member is fixed; a movable element; a first elastic member that is connected to the supporting body and the movable element; and a magnetic drive circuit (a first magnetic drive circuit and a second magnetic drive circuit) that makes the movable element move linearly back and forth relative to the supporting body. The multiple actuators are supported by the stationary element via a second elastic member. The first elastic member and the second elastic member comprise a gelatinous silicone gel or the like.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2017Publication date: June 20, 2019Applicant: NIDEC SANKYO CORPORATIONInventors: Tadashi TAKEDA, Hiroshi KITAHARA, Masao TSUCHIHASHI

Publication number: 20190184425Abstract: A linear actuator includes a movable element, a stationary element provided with a case in which the movable element is housed, and a magnetic drive mechanism that drives the movable element in a direction of an axis line. In the case, there is provided a sounding hole in a bottom plate part, at the other side in the direction of the axis line; the sounding hole being for discharging a pressure change in accordance with a vibration of the movable element in the direction of the axis line, as an audible level sound. Therefore, at a time when the movable element is vibrated in the direction of the axis line by the magnetic drive mechanism, the vibration is transferred to a user. Accordingly, information can be transferred by way of the vibration. Moreover, the information can also be transferred by way of the sound.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2017Publication date: June 20, 2019Applicant: NIDEC SANKYO CORPORATIONInventors: Tadashi TAKEDA, Hiroshi KITAHARA, Masao TSUCHIHASHI
