Abstract: An apparatus for securing mobile devices to a belt are presented. The invention has a receiver coupled to a belt, e.g. utility belt. The receiver is a stud of a one-way fastener coupled to the belt with a post. A clip with a socket of the one-way fastener is removably couplable to the receiver. The clip is made of a flexible member with a grip section on one side of said socket and a lanyard section on an opposing side of the socket. The grip section is configured for a user to grip and pull to disengage the clip from the receiver. A lanyard is coupled to the clip through a hole in the lanyard section and secured with a nut. A mobile device is removably coupled to the other end of the lanyard and also secured with a similar type nut.

Abstract: A composite head safety toothbrush is disclosed. The toothbrush apparatus detailed herein employs a composite head made from a rigid inner polymer material and a softer thermoplastic material surrounding the inner material. The softer material provides safety for prison toothbrush applications as well as elderly and patient care where care givers may brush the teeth of a patient. Innovative pin connectors in the inner toothbrush head assist in the composite formation. The toothbrush solution herein further importantly provides for a toothbrush having a flexible handle.

Abstract: A bottle brush includes a handle and a brush head connected to the handle. The brush head has a longitudinal axis and further includes a barrel having a sidewall substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. A first row of bristles extends from the sidewall at least in part transversely from the barrel to define a first bristle reach. At least two second rows of bristles extend from the sidewall at least in part transversely from the barrel to define a second bristle reach different from the first bristle reach. The at least two second rows of bristles may be spaced longitudinally from each other with the first row of bristles being longitudinally intermediate to the second rows of bristles.

Abstract: A soap dispensing brush. The soap dispensing brush includes a handle having a first end, a second end, and an interior volume configured to store liquid cleaner therein. A depressible end cap is removably secured to the second end of the handle. A brush head is disposed on the first end of the handle, the brush head comprising a first side and a second side, the first side having a plurality of bristles thereon. A plurality of apertures are disposed on the first side of the brush. A push rod is disposed within the interior volume and is communication with the end cap and with a valve. The valve is configured to open when the end cap is depressed, and opening of the valve dispenses liquid from the plurality of apertures.

Abstract: A shelving system includes first and second side members. A cross member is coupled to the side members. A guide member is coupled to the cross member such that the guide member is movable relative to the cross member. A container including a rail is coupled to the guide member. The rail includes a first locking element and a second locking element that is connected to the first locking element. The container includes a handle having a third locking element that engages the first locking element. The locking elements are configured to move the container between a first orientation in which the container is provisionally fixed to the guide member and a second orientation in which the container can translate relative to the guide member.

Abstract: A modular rack for mounting components of a phytochemical extraction system is described. The module rack includes at least two legs and one or more frame modules that are each at least 2 units in length. Multiple frame modules can be combined to create racks of width N, where N is an integer greater than 2 units in length. Each frame module may also include mounting devices configured to removably attach extraction columns to the frame module.

Abstract: A Highly Hung Vertically Moveable Cabinet (HHVMC) comprising a cabinet having a bottom and a top essentially parallel thereto; and an electrical motion system configured to allow movement of the cabinet to a predetermined distance of at least 500 mm in a first direction and in a second opposite direction. Both first direction and second direction being essentially normal to the cabinet bottom and top, and switches electrically coupled to the motion system, wired to allow selection of the movement in the first or second direction.

Abstract: An electric shelf is provided which comprises at least one column to be installed on a wall, a slidable component arranged on the column to slide along the column vertically, at least one layer of shelf board component connected to the slidable component to move simultaneously with the slidable component, and a linear driving device connected to the slidable component and the column to actuate the slidable component to move relative to the column. Advantages of the present disclosure compared to prior arts include a simpler structure and less space occupied by the shelf board component.

The actuator means includes a single actuator (102) for co-ordinated movement of the adjustable backrest and headrest sections for selectively altering the configuration of the article of furniture. The actuator has a first range of movement for moving the headrest with respect to the backrest, and a second range of movement for moving the backrest with respect to the seat section to provide a recliner function.

Abstract: A chair is disclosed herein of the kind that is shipped disassembled in a compact shipping package to be assembled by the end user without the use of tools. The chair has a pair of user actuated height and tilt control paddles by which the elevation of the seat and the tilt of the seat and back of the chair can be adjusted relative to the base which holds the seat above the ground. In one embodiment, the height and tilt control paddles are removably attached to the seat at respective paddle receivers connected to the bottom of the seat. In another embodiment, the height and tilt control paddles are removably received by respective paddle cavities formed in the arms of the chair. By removing the paddles from their paddle receivers or paddle cavities, the parts of the disassembled chair may be more efficiently packaged for shipment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a collapsible and foldable portable bench having a number of flexible seats that are aligned side-by-side one another upon which a corresponding number of individuals can be seated. The seats are attached to and held up by respective frames that are pivotally connected together by C-shaped couplers to enable the frames to rotate relative to one another and the bench to be moved between axially expanded (i.e., straight line), folded (i.e., curved) and collapsed (i.e., compressed) configurations in response to pulling, pushing and bending forces applied thereto. In its collapsed configuration, the bench has a compact size that is suitable for storage or transport in a backpack or inside the hatch of a motor vehicle. To facilitate the manipulation of the bench from one configuration to another, a flexible triangular web is attached between each pair of adjacent seats.

Abstract: A modular mattress foundation comprises multiple sections which may be secured together quickly and easily so that the mattress foundation may be easily broken down into pieces for storage or transportation. Each section has a ladder-like shape. In one embodiment, each side section is generally L-shaped having curved members. A middle ladder extends parallel the sides and may be secured to the outer frame in any known manner. Deck members extend transversely and pass through the middle ladder.

Abstract: The invention relates to a one-piece suspension device for interposing between a mattress and a support structure. The device includes a platform defining a bearing plane for the mattress, a fastener point for fastening to the support structure, and a resilient section. The resilient section is more resilient than the platform in a direction perpendicular to the bearing plane and it is interposed between the platform and the fastener point in the direction perpendicular to the bearing plane to absorb compression forces. The one-piece suspension device is shaped such that any axis perpendicular to the bearing plane and passing through the one-piece suspension device intersects the one-piece suspension device along a single intersection segment. The resilient section has at least two elastic hinges with different flexibilities.

A support structure is arranged beneath the upper mattress, and comprises at least one flexible elongate element arranged to extend between two holding elements arranged at opposite sides of at least one variable zone in the bed arrangement. A retraction device is further arranged to control the slack of said flexible elongate element(s) by controlling the length of the flexible elongate element(s) being provided between the holding elements. Hereby, the height and/or firmness of the bed arrangement is controlled in the variable zone(s).

Abstract: A pocketed spring assembly comprises first and second sheets of fabric and a plurality of parallel rows of springs held in place with the sheets. Longitudinal seams joining the first and second sheets extend generally the same direction as the rows of springs. Pockets are formed along a strand of springs by aligned separating seams. At least one spring is positioned in each pocket. Each separating seam joins one of the sheets to itself and keeps the spring in its pocket. Ends of aligned separating seams are spaced from each other, thereby improving airflow between pockets. Openings between adjacent longitudinal seams further improve airflow.

Abstract: When, at the initial operation of an air mattress having inflating and deflating functions or at restarting after maintenance, many air cells need to be filled with a large amount of air, the air supply/discharge pump is operated at a driving force (the first power output) close to the maximum driving capacity thereof in order to inflate the air cells as soon as possible. In the normal operation in which the bed user is lying on the bed, when the air supply/discharge pump needs to be driven in order to cause alternate inflation and deflation or in order to prevent the user from touching the bottom, the air supply/discharge pump is driven at a second or third power output lower than the first power output. Thereby, it is possible in the air mattress having inflating and deflating functions to achieve rapid pressure adjustment and alleviate bed user's discomfortable feeling due to the operation noise of the pump upon the pressure adjustment.

Abstract: A system and method for incorporating occupancy-detecting technology into furniture is provided. More particularly, the invention relates to detecting occupancy in a recliner using a sinuous wire detection array incorporated into a seat. Further embodiments of the invention are directed to a system and method for incorporating capacitance detection technology with one or more conductive features of a recliner mechanism. In some aspects, a sensor is provided based on coupling one or more conductive features to a control component of the capacitance detector control component. A controller may determine the corresponding response based on occupancy detection and/or presence detection. A processor may receive information regarding changes in capacitance and determines when a change in voltage satisfies a threshold. Based on a determination of occupancy and/or presence, a variety of corresponding features of the adjustable recliner may be activated.

Abstract: A method and device for hanging a storage bag having a re-sealable mechanical seal having a clip with a generally elongate enclosure of the storage bag proximate the re-sealable mechanical seal. The clip arms are flexibly connected to a living hinge for enclosure of a storage bag which may be slid into and out of the rack via the interiorly positioned opposing parallel rails by contact between the lower side of the clip arms and the upper surface of the opposing rails. The clip arms and opposing parallel rails of the rack may be configured with recesses or ridges to lock the position of the clips within the rack during use. A top carrier aperture allows insertion of a carrier rod allowing multiple racks to be adjacently positioned. The rack may be configured with a fastener aperture to allow attachment of the rack to other structures.

Abstract: The present invention solves the problem of possible contamination of unconsumed liquid contained by communion cups that remain in the circular apertures of the cup array of the tray cover. The problem has been solved by moving the empty cup disposal openings from their current central locations in the tray cover to the four corners thereof. The new configuration makes it awkward for a congregant to dispose of his cup by reaching over cups containing unconsumed liquid. Although the improved tray cover is configured to hold 34 cups rather than 36, the loss of capacity of 2 cups is considered to be an acceptable compromise for decreasing the spread of disease causing organisms.

A handle is located at the center of the main body equidistantly from each of the side walls. A pocket area is formed by the combination of the bottom surface, the side walls and the handle for receiving a human hand. A plurality of elongated channels are disposed along the bottom surface of the main body. Each of the channels include a particular shape, size and separation distance for engaging rods of grill grates having different shapes and sizes.

Abstract: A device for producing nut butter and/or nut milk from nuts. The device includes a base having a motor, an outer container positioned above the base, a mixing container positioned within the outer container, and a cutting device positioned within the mixing container and configured to be driven by the motor during operation. The mixing container has inner sidewalls and at least one screen, the inner sidewalls being substantially vertical and the at least one screen having a plurality of holes particularly sized to allow emulsified nut milk to freely pass therethrough. The cutting device has a central hub and at least two blades, the at least two blades vertically offset and each having a blade tip, with each blade tip positioned a certain radial distance from the inner sidewalls of the mixing container. A method for producing nut butter and/or nut milk is further described.

Abstract: A disposable mixing system includes a lid having an opening and configured to hold contents within a container, a strainer configured to couple with the container and the lid in a position between the container and the lid, where the strainer mixes the contents responsive to shaking the container, and a cap configured to cover the opening of the lid, where at least the lid and the strainer are formed in a unified piece. The system may be manufactured from a single sheet of plastic using thermoforming. The strainer may use flat surfaces and large triangular orifices for efficient mixing and manufacture, while the lid may have a spout sized to prevent clogging and pressure build-up.

Abstract: A food portioning system to more accurately and/or quickly portion food served from a food container includes a support for a container and a bracket coupled with the support. The bracket includes a scrape bar positioned above the support to level food within a serving implement. The scrape bar can also be used as a handle to carry, insert, or remove the food container from a steam table. The scrape bar can be adjustable relative to the support to position the scrape bar at varying heights. Such food portioning systems can be used to support a food container within a food well or on a countertop.
