  • Patent number: RE47522
Abstract: The present invention relates to an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing wireless local area network (LAN) transmitting/receiving system for providing expanded service coverage, and a method thereof. A first OFDM modulation is performed for an even-numbered time, and a second OFDM modulation is performed for an odd-numbered time. A transmitting frame including a plurality of signal fields according to the first and second OFDM modulation is transmitted. The receiving system determines whether a signal field is repeatedly generated in the frame. If the signal field is not repeatedly generated, corresponding demodulation is performed. If repeatedly performed, the signal field is demodulated by using first bit allocation information and second bit allocation information having a ½ value of the first bit allocation information. A data field is demodulated according to the demodulated signal field.

  • Patent number: 10349571
Abstract: A hydraulic circuit for an agricultural implement consisting of a hydraulic cylinder that exerts a force on a component of the implement. A pressure reduction valve located between a hydraulic power source and the hydraulic cylinder maintains pressure to no more than a preset maximum to protect the hydraulic cylinder by routing excess hydraulic fluid back through a hydraulic line into a reservoir. A pressure relief valve with a preset maximum pressure greater than that of the pressure reduction valve is located between the pressure reduction valve and the hydraulic cylinder, and is connected to the reservoir through a dedicated return line. If hydraulic fluid pressure in the circuit increases to greater than the maximum of the pressure reduction valve, hydraulic fluid is diverted back to the reservoir through the pressure relief valve and a dedicated return line.

Abstract: A combination flex and rigid control system for a header of an agricultural harvester includes ground proximity detection arrangements for both rigid mode and flex mode operation of the header. The ground proximity detection arrangements are each coupled to the same sensor shaft by way of a sensor arm that is moved by either of the ground proximity detection arrangements.

  • Patent number: 10349579
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and apparatus for inducing (harmonic) vibration of objects having a large mass(es), such as the trunk of a fruit or nut tree, the crop of which may be harvested by shaking the tree through the induced vibration. Linear and radial embodiments utilize and include an actuator using Terfenol-D, a magnetostrictive actuator. Different versions utilize a piston rod actuator.

  • Patent number: 10349580
Abstract: A draper header is attached to a harvesting machine by an adapter including a bottom feed draper and an upper feed roller driven by a coupling from an output of the machine rotatable about an axis parallel to the forward direction and a right angle gearbox. The feed roller is mounted at each end allowing independent up and down floating movement of the ends and there is provided a mechanical linkage using two chains and an idler shaft between the output shaft of the gear box an input shaft of the roller with a universal coupling therebetween. The gear box is located at least partly underneath the discharge opening and underneath the feed roller, rearwardly of the rear guide roller of the feed draper, rearwardly of the axis of rotation of the feed roller and underneath a feed pan which is inclined upwardly and rearwardly over the gear box.

  • Patent number: 10349581
Abstract: A header support for supporting a header during road transport of an agricultural harvester. The header support has a header mounted to it in order to reduce a front axle load of the agricultural harvester. During harvesting, a support wheel of the header support is folded upwardly so it does not touch the ground during harvesting. The rotation axis of the support wheel extends in a substantially vertical plane during harvesting. This allows for a simple construction of the header support and reduces the vibration loads on the bearing of the support wheel during harvesting.

  • Patent number: 10349582
Abstract: A baler including a baling chamber that includes a bale-forming channel including an inlet end and an outlet end, a plunger mounted within the channel for compressing bale material in the channel and driving the compressed bale material towards the outlet end of the channel, and a rotary drive mechanism for driving reciprocating movement of the plunger, and an additional drive mechanism for driving the compressed bale material towards the outlet end of the channel, thereby reducing torque in the rotary drive mechanism.
