Abstract: A compact, low power cryo-cooler for cryogenic systems capable of cooling gas to at least as low as 2.5 K. The cryo-cooler has a room temperature compressor followed by filtration. Within the cryostat, four counterflow heat exchangers precool the incoming high-pressure gas using the outflowing low-pressure gas. The three warmest heat exchangers are successively heat sunk to three stages of a pulse tube to absorb residual heat from the slight ineffectiveness of the heat exchangers. The pulse tube cold head also absorbs loads from instrumentation leads and radiation loads. The pulse tube stages operate at around 80 K, 25 K, and 10 K. The entire system—cryo-cooler, drive and control electronics, and detector instrumentation, fits in a standard electronics rack mount enclosure, and requires around 300 W or less of power.

Abstract: A low-temperature quick-freezing freeze-drying system provided by the invention includes: a compressor unit, a first heat exchanger, an air cooler, a second heat exchanger, a throttling element, a third heat exchanger, a circulating fan, a drying chamber, a third valve, a fourth valve and connecting pipelines, and the above elements form a refrigeration circulation loop, a quick freezing/freeze-drying circulation loop, and a desorption drying circulation loop, thereby realizing the low-temperature quick-freezing and freeze-drying of materials. The invention adopts the heat exchangers with a cold storage function, so that the refrigeration capacity of the compressor is stored and used intensively to achieve rapid cooling of the materials.

Abstract: A laboratory equipment having an inlet and outlet tube for gas to enter and exit using specific shaped tubes with multi-outlet apertures in form of a network to allow the gas to enter the drying chamber to dry the material. The specific shaped tubes are in crescent shape and cross each other to have maximum surface area exposure to the drying chamber and effectively contact the material that is being dried. A gas inlet valve and outlet valve control the flow, pressure and temperature of the gas that is being used for drying the material to make nano material. A method of using the laboratory equipment with special gas inlet tubes is used for drying the material in form a slurry to make dry nano material.
