Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, monitoring a user in a showroom to generate shopping parameters of the user, determining that the user is seeking to purchase a product in the showroom according to the shopping parameters, obtaining user data of the user in response to the determining that the user is seeking to purchase the product, analyzing the user data, selecting interaction data from among a group of interaction data according to the analyzing of the user data, and providing the interaction data to a computing device of a sales agent to enable the sales agent to transact with the user for the purchase of the product. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Interactive parking facilities may include one or more computer displays or other output devices for providing information to occupants of vehicles arriving at the parking facilities, and for providing information to workers tasked with delivering items to such occupants. A vehicle and/or an occupant may be identified at a parking space, and an ordered item associated with the vehicle or the occupant may then be placed in a staging area. Instructions to deliver the item from the staging area to the vehicle may be displayed to a worker, and information regarding the pending arrival of the item may be displayed to the occupant, on one or more computer displays. Thus, the fulfillment of an order may be triggered upon detecting the arrival of the vehicle at a parking space, and the delivery of the one or more items to the vehicle may be guided based on such information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to the generation and presentation of product recommendations, ratings and/or reviews to social networking users. More specifically, one or more embodiments of the present disclosure relate to detecting a user's interest in a product or product category and presenting the user with a summary of product information, such as recommendations, ratings and/or reviews of the product or product category by other users within a social networking system, including by socially connected users.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for providing knowledge based sharing performed by a computing device including one or more processors and a main memory storing commands executable by the processors. The method may include: collecting, by a collection module, a question and an answer for the question from a knowledge sharing platform; extracting, by a process extracting module, a process for solving the question from the answer by analyzing the collected answer; tagging, by a process processing module, additional information on the respective processes to the extracted processes and storing the tagged additional information; receiving, by a communication module, search information from a user terminal; and providing, by the communication module, at least one of the answer, the process, and the tagged additional information corresponding to the search information to the user terminal.

The in-app recommending system includes an in-app module interworking unit configured to periodically collect state information of a particular application having an in-app module from a user terminal in which the in-app module is installed, the in-app module being an application in the form of a component which can be inserted into a plurality of unspecified applications to provide a common service, a user analyzing unit configured to generate recommendation information of multimedia content on the basis of the state information of the particular application, the multimedia content including an application and digital content, and a transmission unit configured to push-transmit the recommendation information to the in-app module of the user terminal.

Abstract: A user-centric computer-implemented method and system for managing inputs and creating, modifying, importing, and sharing one or more user lifestyle preference profiles as input into a relevance assessment engine to determine a user's product or service preferences comprises a personalized recommendation software for assessing and aggregating lifestyle items via style dimension mapping of one or more computer-implemented algorithms to process image-associated metadata to create unique vector inputs, individualized lifestyle preference indices, and lifestyle preference outputs, associated with a plurality of correlated products, services and experiences. The recommendation system then directly matches each user to discrete relevant items without the need for management of historical data from other users.

Abstract: A system is disclosed that obtains an image of an apparel item and text describing the apparel item. The system also determines descriptive metadata of the apparel item by extracting information from the text. Further, the system further determines categorization metadata of the apparel item by analyzing the image. Additionally, the system stores the image, the descriptive metadata, and the categorization metadata in a virtual closet. Moreover, the system provides a recommendation of an outfit from a stylist to a user based on the virtual closet.

Abstract: A system comprises at least one first processor and at least one second processor. The at least one first processor is of a vendor website and is configured to produce a web site including vendor product information and a widget on the web site. The widget on the web site, in response to a user input, has a vendor product added to a watchlist of a non-vendor third party. The widget on the web site updates the watchlist of the non-vendor third party. The at least one second processor of the non-vendor third party adds the vendor product to the watchlist in response to the widget on the web site. The at least one second processor updates the watch list in response to the widget on the web site. The at least one second processor sends the watchlist to a user.

Abstract: Techniques for removing purchases from online containers are described. For example, an indication of a purchase of a first product at a first store by a user is received. A user account associated with the user is identified. The user account has an online container for storing one or more desired products. The first product is matched to one or more desired products based on one or more product characteristics of the first product and of the one or more desired products. The one or more desired products that match the first product are removed from the online container.

Abstract: In some cases, a method may include receiving electricity usage data from a re-ordering device and determining usage information for an appliance that is electrically connected to the re-ordering device based on the electricity usage data. The method may also include determining, based on the usage information and order history information for a customer, an estimated remaining quantity of an item that is associated with an appliance type of the appliance. The method further includes comparing the estimated remaining quantity of the item to a threshold associated with the item. In response to determining that the threshold associated with the item is satisfied, the method includes decrementing the estimated remaining quantity of the item. In response to determining that the threshold associated with the item is not satisfied, the method includes generating order data for automated re-ordering of the item for delivery to the customer.

Abstract: A pay-at-the-table device is augmented to include an imaging sub-system having one or more image-capture components. A front-facing image sensor records video, or takes still photos. A wide view image sensor/lens captures a view of an entire table (or some portion thereof). When table images are captured by the imaging system, image post-processing is used to ensure that any details that can identify the individual patrons are masked or otherwise obscured; in this way, only generic demographic data (e.g., number of patrons, gender, approximate age, etc.) is captured, and all such data is maintained anonymously and without reference to any payment or other information that might provide the restaurant with the patron's true identity. The image-capture components may also include image sensors enable events (e.g., drinks needing refills, entrée arrival, etc.) to be monitored. An infrared image sensor captures thermal data, which can identify the temperature of the prepared food.

Abstract: A system architecture of a gift transaction system is disclosed. The gift transaction system can include a buyer interface module, a recipient interface module, a merchant backend interface module, a store front interface module, a curation module, a reminder module, an analytics module, or a media plug-in interface module. A method of operating the gift transaction system under the system architecture includes: providing an embedded widget on a website to determine gift intent to initiate a gift transaction by a buyer account for a recipient account; generating a gift buyer interface for a first client device to personalize a gift package including a gift item; generating a gift recipient interface for a second client device to customize the gift package; and communicating with a merchant backend system to complete the gift transaction to ship the gift package.

At least one of the sources corresponds to a 3D printing facility that prints components via a 3D printing process. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for replenishing the power source of a user vehicle. The system may comprise at least one power source transport vehicle, the power source transport vehicle having at least one power source container; a vendor device; and a platform having at least a vendor interface for display on the vendor device and a user interface for display on a user device. The platform receives a user request through the user interface regarding the user vehicle. The power source transport vehicle is then deployed to the location of the vehicle based on the user request and replenishes the power source of the user vehicle based on the user request.

In addition, the method includes receiving the plurality of partial-segment values in response to the prompting. Moreover, the method includes generating an eligibility token from the plurality of partial-segment values. The method also includes determining the requestor's eligibility for the on-demand product based, at least in part, on a lookup of the eligibility token in an eligibility token repository. The eligibility token repository includes a plurality of eligibility tokens of the eligibility token format.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for parental control of purchases by a child of the parent are described including transmitting a notification to the parent that the child of the parent is attempting to make an online purchase, receiving verification that the parent is authorized to approve the online purchase, transmitting a screen to the parent's receiving device for the parent's approval or disapproval of the purchase and receiving the parent's approval or disapproval. Also described are a method and apparatus for a parent to pre-select online media content purchases of a child of the parent including receiving a request to access a parental control system, receiving verification that the parent is authorized to approve the online purchase, generating and rendering a program guide including media content titles and media content ratings and receiving parental selection of media content approved for purchase by the child.

Abstract: In general, network traffic-based electronic commerce (e-commerce) techniques are described. The techniques may potentially prevent website crashes caused by traffic spikes. An example method includes determining, by a computing device, a level of network traffic associated with accessing a website that provides one or more e-commerce capabilities, and comparing the level of network traffic against a threshold traffic level. The method further includes, responsive to determining that the level of network traffic exceeds the threshold traffic level, determining whether a purchase request received via the website identifies a limited time offer (LTO) that is currently available via the website, and when the purchase request identifies the LTO, denying the purchase request with respect to the LTO at an add-to-cart stage.

Abstract: A method of displaying, buying, and trading electronic trading cards on a computer or handheld electronic device by running an electronic trading card application on the computer or handheld device that communicates via the internet with at least one remote server containing a registry of all electronic trading cards. The electronic trading card application running on the computer or handheld device transmits a transaction request to the at least one remote server to execute a purchase or trade between two users of one or more electronic trading cards. Abstract: A system and method for virtual clothes fitting based on video augmented reality in a mobile wireless device is disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for virtual cloth-fitting with video augmentation in a mobile wireless device includes receiving a video stream of an upper body of a user; detecting a face in the video stream; detecting a shoulder contour; determining keypoints of the shoulder and neck portions of the video stream of the upper body of the user according to the detected face and the detected shoulder contour; mapping an image of clothes to the video stream of the upper body of the user according to the keypoints; and displaying an augmented video stream of the upper body of the user with the image of the clothes overlaid over a portion of the video stream of the upper body of the user.

Abstract: Disclosed is an integrated health plan computer system that enables on-line billing related transactions. The integrated health plan computer system may include a server to couple the integrated health plan computer system to a billing entity user through a network. A billing module operable with the integrated health plan computer system and the server is utilized to enable on-line billing related transactions for the billing entity user through the network. The billing module includes an invoice presentment module to perform invoice presentment transactions for the billing entity user and to display results of the invoice presentment transaction to the billing entity user. The billing entity user may be a group administrator, a broker, or an individual.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present invention may include a method and apparatus configured to authenticate a user transaction (e.g., point-of-sale, ATM transactions, etc.). One example method may include receiving user authentication information during the user transaction and confirming the user authentication information is correct. The method may also include determining a current user location by a location associated with the user's mobile device, and comparing the current user location to a known location of an entity associated with the user transaction. The method may also include authenticating the transaction if the current user location is within a predetermined distance of the known location of the entity associated with the user transaction.

Abstract: Based at least in part on an optimization goal determined for a storage group comprising a plurality of data stores for which writes requests are coordinated by a log-based transaction manager, one or more lifecycle transitions are identified for data objects stored in a first data store. In accordance with a first lifecycle transition, a data object is to be transferred from the first data store to a second data store based at least in part on a duration for which the data object has been resident at the first data store. Abstract: Systems and techniques for context aware predictive activity evaluation are described herein. A set of transaction variables may be identified for a predicted transaction. A set of inputs may be obtained corresponding to each transaction variable of the set of transaction variables. A value may be determined for each transaction variable using the set of inputs corresponding to each transaction variable of the set of transaction variables. The value for each transaction variable may be compared to a set of transaction models to select a transaction model for the predicted transaction. A probability may be calculated that the predicted transaction will be approved using the transaction model for the predicted transaction. The probability that the predicted transaction will be approved may be displayed on a display device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for management of an account switch are disclosed. An account switch management system may include one or more memory devices storing software instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to receive a list of transaction entries to be switched from a first account to a second account and account information associated with the first account and the second account. The one or more processors may also determine a recommendation relating to a customer action based on the transaction entries and the account information. The one or more processors may provide the list of transaction entries and account information and the recommendation to the client device. The one or more processors may also receive a request from the client device to complete an action and transmit a notification to a processing device to complete the action.

Abstract: A client terminal displays on a graphical interface a first indicator of a price associated with a lowest traded price of a tradable object during a predetermined period of time, a second indicator of a price associated with a highest traded price of the tradable object during the predetermined period of time, along with at least one quantity indicator associated with at least one order to buy/order the tradable object. The first indicator, the second indicator, and the at least one quantity indicator are displayed in relation to a static axis of price, and the client terminal dynamically updates the first and second indicator to new lowest and highest traded prices based on market updates received from an exchange.

Abstract: A new type of financial trading model including a user terminal having an account application for storing a virtual cash blocks constructing the virtual cash, a service center installing the account application into the user terminal when the user requests product trade and conducting product trade by increasing or decreasing the virtual cash blocks stored into the account application based on an index change following time of a trading item after setting any one of a number of financial products that the index is being changed as time passed to the trading item according to a selection of the user, and a relay server receiving an index change data in real-time from a certified institution, which is used as a standard of product trade.

Abstract: Systems and methods for chart-based order entry are described. According to one example method a chart is used to display historical market data corresponding to a tradable object. An order entry interface is displayed in relation to the chart. The order entry interface includes a plurality of price objects for selecting price levels to be used for trade orders to buy or sell the tradable object. According to one example method, the price levels corresponding to the price objects depend on a location of the interface in relation to the chart, and as the interface is moved in relation to the chart, the price levels are automatically updated. Upon selection of the price level on the interface, a trade order to buy or sell is submitted to a matching engine at an electronic exchange.

Abstract: In at least one embodiment computerized methods and corresponding systems for providing guaranteed income payments to an investor are provided that include the step or steps of: receiving information from the investor representing at least a current age of the investor, a desired income start date, a desired income payment amount, and a premium payment amount; receiving a premium payment from the investor and placing the premium payment into a first investment sleeve; and automatically transferring using at least one computing device, during a waiting period and according to a predefined event, a portion of the premium payment from the first investment sleeve to a second investment sleeve, wherein the portion of the premium payment transferred calculated by the at least one computing device as a function of a time remaining in the waiting period and the desired income amount.

Abstract: Methods and systems for maintaining pharmacy provider networks are described. In one embodiment, claims adjudication data associated with a member and a prescribed drug is accessed. The prescribed drug associated with the member is classified as one of an acute medication and a maintenance medication. A pharmacy provider network is associated with the prescribed drug based on, at least in part, classifying the prescribed drug. It is determined if a pharmacy associated with the claims adjudication data is included within the pharmacy provider network associated with the prescribed drug. A pharmacy claim may be adjudicated for the prescribed drug based on the claim and the pharmacy provider network. Additional methods and systems are disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing automated methods of inspections that facilitate loss reporting and resolution are described. In some embodiments various remote evaluation tools are provided to collect information from remote locations. This information can be used to generate automated damage estimates which in turn can be used to direct the ordering of supplies, materials, and other resources. In addition, pre-damage and post-damage evaluations of an insured property may be collected using the remote evaluation tools. These evaluations can be used by adjusters (human adjusters and computer-based adjusters) to identify damage and process claims more efficiently.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses provide a system that may facilitate communications so that parents or other superiors may monitor driving behavior of a vehicle carrying children or other subordinates. The system may allow communications to be sent from a parent computing device to a particular child computing device to set conditions for notifying the parent or superior of the driving behavior of a vehicle. Child computing devices may collect drive data (e.g., vehicle telematics data) for the system to evaluate and determine whether conditions are met (e.g., whether parental restrictions, like a geo-fence, are violated). Further, the system may send notifications to child computing devices and parent computing devices indicating whether the drive data meets the conditions of an agreement between a parent and teen. The system may also provide a web portal for use in forming the agreement between parents and their teens.

Computer-readable instructions cause one or more processors to generate one or more user interface displays including prompts for data indicative of employee data and jurisdiction; based on user inputs received in response, generate questions; based on responses to the questions and jurisdiction data, determine pay periods with prompts for employee wage data for each of the pay periods; determine gross wages in response to received employee wage data; determine average weekly wage data based on determined gross wages, and generate one or more formatted state forms including wage and average weekly wage data.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining risk associated with operation of fully autonomous vehicles are provided. According to certain aspects, autonomous operation features associated with a vehicle may be determined, including types and version of sensors, control systems, and software. This information may be used to determine a risk profile reflecting risk levels for a plurality of features, which may be based upon test data regarding the features or actual loss data. Expected use levels may further be determined and used with the risk profile to determine a total risk level associated with operation of the vehicle by the autonomous operation features. The expected use levels may indicate expected vehicle use, as well as traffic, weather, or other conditions in which the vehicle is likely to operate. The total risk level may be used to determine or adjust aspects of an insurance policy associated with the vehicle.

Abstract: An image processing system includes a first image processor that creates a composite 3-D image or model of a damaged vehicle from a plurality of 2-D images of the damaged vehicle. The first image processor or another image processor of the system generates deformation data that is indicative or descriptive of points/areas of damage on the vehicle based on a comparison of the composite 3-D image/model with a 3-D image/model of a pristine vehicle. Based on the deformation data, a deformation model component generates indications of replacement parts and/or other items corresponding to repairing the vehicle by utilizing a model generated from historical claim data. Aside from receiving the initial set of images of the damaged vehicle, the system does not require any user input, and may generate the indications of replacement parts and/or other items corresponding to repairing the vehicle in real-time, such as at FNOL.

Abstract: An insurance coverage and rating system and method. The system includes one or more data collecting devices collecting telematics data relative to one or more of an automobile, a home, health or at least one social media platform of an insured. An insurance analysis center is communicatively coupled to the one or more data collecting devices and receives telematics data from the one or more data collecting devices. The insurance analysis center determines an insurance rate for one or more of automobile insurance coverage, home insurance coverage, or life insurance coverage based at least in part on the telematics data received. A total insurance policy premium is then calculated by adding at least two of the determined insurance rates for the one or more of the automobile insurance coverage, the home insurance coverage or the life insurance coverage.

Abstract: An image processing system automatically processes a plurality of images of a damaged vehicle and determines replacements parts that are needed to repair the vehicle therefrom. The system includes a network interface via which the images are received, an image extraction component that generates a set of image attributes from the received images, a parts identifier component that generates indications of the needed replacement parts based on the image attributes and an information identification model, and an output interface via which the generated indications are provided. Additionally, the system includes a data storage entity storing data from multiple historical vehicle insurance claims, and a model generation component that generates the information identification model based on the historical claim data.

Abstract: Managing workflow on a plurality of installed application components that interact with a central hosted component is disclosed. A rule defined on the central hosted component is obtained. A new action item to be executed on an installed application component in the plurality of installed application components is generated at least in part by applying the obtained rule based at least in part on data provided by the installed application component and information that is managed by the central hosted component. The new action item to be executed by the installed application component is communicated. The new action item modifies a workflow on the installed application component without modifying application code on the installed application component.

Abstract: A method and computer system provides vehicle insurance underwriting and ratings to a policy holder. The method and system receives captured sensor data associated with a vehicle from the policy holder. For example, the captured sensor data may include vehicle image and sound data. The method and system may compare the received data to baseline data to determine an operating condition of the vehicle. Based at least in part on the determined operating condition of the vehicle, the method and system may identify a risk of loss for the vehicle. The method and system may then determine an insurance premium for the vehicle based at least in part on the identified risk of loss, and provide the determined insurance premium to the policy holder. In some embodiments, the sensor data is image and sound data captured by a user's mobile phone.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining fault for an accident involving a vehicle having one or more autonomous and/or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, performance data indicative of the performance of the features may be used to determine fault for a vehicle accident, such as a collision, by allocating fault for the accident between a vehicle operator, the autonomous operation features, or a third party. The allocation of fault may be used to determine an adjustment to an insurance policy and/or adjust coverage levels for an insurance policy. The allocation of fault may further be used to adjust risk levels or profiles associated with the autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features, which may be applied to other vehicles having the same or similar features.

Abstract: An online system applies content policies regulating presentation of sponsored content to its users. For example, content policies may prevent the presentation of sponsored content items in certain positions content feeds. The online system may relax a content policy when generating a content feed for a user based on characteristics of a user. For example, the online system generates a model determining a tolerance of the user for sponsored content, and relaxes one or more content policies if the tolerance of the user for sponsored content equals or exceeds a threshold. As another example, the online system determines whether to relax one or more content policies based on a comparison of a historical amount of compensation received from the user and an expected amount of compensation from presenting content items violating a content policy.

Abstract: A method of forming unique, private, personal, virtual social networks on a social network system that includes a database storing data relating to corresponding user entities. The method includes: a first user entity sending an invitation to a second user entity, recording in the database the second user entity as a direct contact of the first user entity and determining that third user entities, directly connected to the second user entity, are indirect contacts. A unique, personal, social network formed from direct and indirect contacts is thereby created for each user entity. Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for evaluating an impact of a user's content utilized in a social network. Content in a document (e.g., a presentation) that has been posted on a social network environment is detected as being reused by another user in another document. The author of the reused content is then identified. A counter keeping track of the number of times this content has been adopted in derivative works is then incremented. A score (“impact score”), representing the author's ability to influence other users to adopt the author's content in other users' derivative works, is then generated based on the number of times this content has been adopted in derivative works. Social credit is then provided to the author using the impact score. In this manner, recognition is provided to the author thereby providing motivation for users to post created content in the social network.

Abstract: A management system, includes: a first detection unit configured to detect position information of a first haul machine configured to travel along a haul road that leads to a loading area of a mine; a second detection unit configured to detect position information of a second haul machine configured to travel along the haul road; and a processing device configured to receive a detection result from each of the first detection unit and the second detection unit, wherein the processing device is configured to determine that the second haul machine arrives at an entrance of the loading area when the second haul machine arrives at a position behind the first haul machine that is in a standby state at the entrance based on the detection results.
