If the straight line passes through a window, it is determined if the straight line will pass through any deployable vehicle shade if the shade is deployed. If the straight line will pass through a shade if the shade is deployed and the shade through which the straight line will pass is not already deployed, the vehicle may be operated so as to deploy the shade through which the straight line will pass if the shade is deployed.
