Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for autonomous car-like ground vehicle guidance and trajectory tracking control. A multi-loop 3DOF trajectory linearization controller provides guidance to a vehicle having nonlinear rigid-body dynamics with nonlinear tire traction force, nonlinear drag forces and actuator dynamics. The controller may be based on a closed-loop PD-eigenvalue assignment and a singular perturbation (time-scale separation) theory for exponential stability, and controls the longitudinal velocity and steering angle simultaneously to follow a feasible guidance trajectory. A line-of-sight based pure-pursuit guidance controller may generate a 3DOF spatial trajectory that is provided to the 3DOF controller to enable target pursuit and path-following/trajectory-tracking. The resulting combination may provide a 3DOF motion control system with integrated simultaneous steering and speed control for automobile and car-like mobile robot target pursuit and trajectory-tracking.

Abstract: An autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may improve the overall safety of other vehicles by determining an action of a proximate vehicle based on sensor data and determining one or more expected visual cues associated with the determined action. One or more images of the proximate vehicle may then be used to detect a difference between expected visual cues and the captured images. Detected differences may be used to notify one or more entities that can then take corrective actions.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system of an ADV perceives an object in a perspective view of the ADV using an image capturing device mounted on the ADV. The system generates a 2D bounding box for the object based on an image of the object captured by the image capturing device. The system determines an orientation and a 3D size of the object based on the image. The system projects onto the image a 3D representation of the object based on the orientation and the 3D size of the object. The system determines a distance from the ADV to the object based on the 3D representation of the object and the generated 2D bounding box. The system generates a trajectory in view of the determined distance from the ADV to the object to control the ADV to navigate the ADV around the object.

Abstract: A learning based speed planner for autonomous driving vehicles (ADV) is disclosed. An ADV is set into human-driving mode. Driving control elements are under control of a human driver, and other ADV logic is enabled. The ADV plans a route path on a segment of the route having an obstacle. ADV logic generates a station-time graph for the path of the segment, and a grid of cells to encompass the path and obstacle. A feature vector is generated from the grid. Human driving behavior is recorded as the ADV is navigated along the path. Recorded driving data for a large plurality of paths, obstacles and ADVs is transmitted to a server to generate a speed model. The speed model is downloaded to one or more ADVs for use in autonomous driving mode, to determine an initial speed to use in similar driving situations.

Abstract: In a control method relating to the field of electronic device control technologies, and in particular, to a technology for controlling terminal state switching, when receiving a state switching instruction in a lock screen state, a terminal obtains motion data within a predetermined lime period of the terminal and an intelligent wearable device bound to the terminal. When a deviation between two groups of motion data is less than a deviation threshold, the terminal performs state switching. The terminal state switching is implemented through cooperation of the intelligent wearable device, and therefore a possibility of leakage of information in the terminal can be reduced.

Abstract: A laminate curtain can suppress electromagnetic radiation leakage from an electronic appliance, as well as assist in managing cables interconnected to the electronic appliance. More specifically, a laminate curtain can include a conductive elastomer panel that absorbs spurious electromagnetic radiation generated by the electronic appliance, a conductive adhesive film disposed along one side of the conductive elastomer panel, and a conductive support frame affixed to the conductive adhesive film. The laminate curtain can be installed within a mounting frame, which secures the laminate curtain to the electronic appliance. Electromagnetic radiation that is absorbed by the conductive elastomer panel can travel to the electronic appliance via the conductive adhesive film, the conductive support frame, and the mounting frame. Thus, the conductive elastomer panel can be used to form a ground plane that catches and shunts the spurious electromagnetic radiation to the electronic appliance, which is grounded.
