Abstract: An apparatus and method for automatically adjusting and monitoring use of an adjustable standing desk are disclosed. The invention provides an electric adjustable desk with memory to store a user's preferred sitting and standing heights for the adjustable desk. A setup mode allows the user to store and adjust the preferred sitting and standing heights. A sensor allows the user to quickly adjust from the sitting to standing heights or vice versa.

In a passive mode, the mattress can be easily rotated in a horizontal plane. During that mode, the system holds down the bed skirt while the mattress is being rotated. In an active mode, the present invention facilitates bed making and thus increases the efficiency of the housekeeping staff leaving more time for the housekeeping staff to attend to the rest of the room. The strap provides a large shoulder pad near the upper end, to cushion the weight as it rests on the user's shoulder. The upper and lower ends of the strap terminate in large oval snap hooks. Each snap hook provides a screw nut on each side. One of the screw nuts can only be completely removed with a tool, and therefore operates as a hinge, such that the user may easily attach and remove the strap with one hand. A buckle near the center of the strap allows the user to adjust the length of the strap. In a second embodiment, the upper and lower ends of the strap terminate in inverted V-shaped straps, each of which provides two spring snap hooks which may be secured to the car seat frame on the side surface of the car seat carrier.
