Abstract: An apparel garment that includes individual fibers exhibit proper moisture wicking properties and that have been infused or coated (or both) with far infrared materials is provided. The combination of suitable fibers and far infrared materials imparts a unique effect to the apparel garment wherein the far infrared materials will physiologically and therapeutically impact the user's circulatory system to dilate surface capillaries, break down water clusters, and allow for toxin removal at the apparel/skin interface. Coupled with the overall moisture wicking capability, surprisingly the inventive garment actually provides a cooling effect during an exercise event in a warm temperature environment and a warming effect during an exercise event in a cold temperature environment. The utilization of such a garment to impart such an exercise-activated cooling or warming effects, and thus the ability to allow the user greater comfort during any type of workout, is also encompassed within this invention.

A technique includes determining a fabric's response to a laser, capturing an initial image of a wear pattern on a garment, and processing the initial image to obtain a working image in grayscale. The working image is further processed to obtain a difference image by comparing each pixel relative to a dark reference. The difference image is converted to a laser values image by using the previously determined fabric response to the laser.

This system includes an impact attenuation member formed in an extent of the front shell portion by removing material from the front portion. The impact attenuation member changes how a portion of the shell having the impact attenuation member responds to an impact force having a component applied substantially normal to the impact attenuation member as compared to how the left and right side portions respond to the impact force.

The selected rotation of the VRBs from a first position to a second position provides customized suspension between a minimum resistance to a maximum resistance per zone.

When the stopping member is positioned by the first positioning portion, a second combining portion is correspondingly connected to a first combining portion. When the releasing unit is located at a first position, the elastic abutting arm substantially stops the releasing unit from rotating in a loosening direction and does not substantially stop the releasing unit from rotating in a tightening direction.

Abstract: A measuring device is disclosed which can be used in mass production of shoes. The device includes two parts: the first one is for measurement of the shoe width and girth having movable elements and the second one, which is mechanically connected with the first one, is positioned in a heel section of the shoe. The device also allows determining how tight movable elements fit to internal surface of the shoe. The first part is made in the form of a measuring head with movable cheeks and tongue placed on the toe rod, and the second part is in the form of a rod with a support roller. The mechanical connection between the parts is made in the form of a device angle measurement unit. The angle measurement unit is made using a single-turn absolute encoder. The technical result is in an increase of the accuracy of measurements.

In comparison with known eyelets for leatherwear and for clothing in general, the eyelet according to the invention offers the advantage that, while preventing the formation of unsightly excess thicknesses on the coupling section of the shank of the first head inside the hole of the second head of the eyelet.

The present invention provides method where each diamonds is separately processed for ultimate brilliance and cumulative refraction. The flat surfaces of the adjacent diamond are joined to form the complete design in the system. The assembled diamonds are arranged by grooving and providing support to form final pattern of the jewelry. The present process is advantageous with regards to usage of maximum utilization of raw diamond and process that gives great brilliance of large diamond and expensive appearance to user.

This device can be shaped in multiple ways. In general, the device has two or more interlocking pieces that allow the user to manually move, e.g., rotate or slide, a marker shaped on one of the pieces with respect to the other piece to highlight indicia, such as a number or icon or color, that represents a day in the menstrual cycle. The indicia can be hidden within the design to protect the user's privacy. In one implementation, the device is attached to a chain, rope or other form allowing it to be worn around the neck, typically under the clothes, like a pendant. Another implementation is shaped like a bracelet, allowing it to be work around the wrist. Other configurations to be worn on other parts of the body also are possible.

Abstract: Technology associated with covering, protecting, and positioning portable electronic devices is described. In an example embodiment, a protective cover device includes a flap that is magnetically fastenable to a surface located on a backside of a portable electronic device. The protective cover device also includes a display protector attached to the flap and being positionable in a protective position to substantially cover a display of the portable electronic device. The display protector is articulatable to a position underneath a first side of the portable electronic device in which the flap and the display protector cooperatively prop up the portable electronic device in a landscape viewing position.

Abstract: Disclosed is a card wallet for use with cards such as identification cards, credit cards, RFID cards. The card wallet comprises a base and lower and upper arms extending from the base. The lower arm and upper arms each comprise a channel portion and a protrusion disposed at an outer end portion. The base and channel portions of the lower and upper arms form a retention area. The protrusions moveable between a non-biased position where the retention area is closed and a biased position where the retention area is open. In operation, the protrusions of the lower and upper arms are moved to the biased position upon insertion of the cards at the protrusions allowing complete insertion of the cards and then return of the protrusions of the lower and upper arms to the non-biased position where the cards are retained within the retention area.
