Abstract: A valve arrangement includes a housing with pump and consumer connections, and first and second actuators arranged symmetrically. Each first and second actuator includes one base plate; one actuating element having first and second end sections, and a sealing element in the first end section; one connecting element; and one SMA element having a U-shape with first and second ends, and a middle section between the ends. The actuating element is at least partially arranged on and connected to the base plate via the second end section. The connecting element is conductively connected to two points of the SMA element. The middle section is connected to the first end section of the actuating element so that shortening the SMA element causes a stroke of the sealing element. A related pump mechanism is disclosed.

The invention provides an immediate and forceful warning to excavation equipment operators of the proximity of and of impending damage to buried infrastructure. The signal tape (790) comprises a strong core material (793) which may be a woven aramid fiber tape firmly attached to a series of spaced smoke generators (792, 792?). The core material and smoke generators are sealed within thermoplastic layers (796, 796?) of thin tape for environmental protection. A strike by excavation equipment, for example a backhoe bucket will cause the core material to come to the surface where it can be seen. As the core material (793) moves, it ignites at least one smoke generator (792, 792?) which is then pulled to the surface emitting a dense cloud of colored [and odorous] smoke. The compression system comprises a dual shaft electric motor capable of driving a first compressor and a second compressor to compress the hydrocarbon gas. A gas compression and storage transport receives the processed hydrocarbon gas from the gas conditioning and compression transport. The gas compression and storage transport is capable of directing a first portion of the processed hydrocarbon gas to bypass processing at the gas compression and storage transport and diverting a second portion of the processed hydrocarbon gas for storage. A storage compressor compresses the second portion of the hydrocarbon gas for storage in one or more gas storage tanks.

Abstract: Disclosed is a LED light assembly that accommodates series connected surface mounted LEDs. An LED lighting source comprising surface mounted LEDs can be inserted and removed from a socket to allow replacement of burned out LEDs. The LED lighting source contains all of the components for controlling the intensity and color of the emitted light. In addition, the electrical components may receive control signals to control the output of the surface mounted LEDs. Connectors disposed in a socket are made of spring steel that causes the connectors to contact each other when the LED lighting source becomes loose from the socket or is removed.

Abstract: This invention is a replacement lighting system for signs that can include a first lighting assembly having LED strips disposed on opposite sides. The lighting assembly can be rotatably attached to the lamp holders. A hub can be removably connected to an external power supply, a first lighting assembly and a second lighting assembly. The lighting system can be used to replace existing lighting such as fluorescent tubes and accompanying ballasts without the need to understand remove or rewire the sign electrical components other than attaching the lighting system to the power source. The lighting assemblies can be rotated in the lamp holders to reduce or remove hot spots or dark areas. Multiple lighting assemblies can be connected end to end and be in electrical communication with the power source without necessarily needing to wire each lighting assembly to the power source.

Abstract: A diffused flexible LED linear light assembly (100) includes a flexible LED linear light component (102) having a flexible base (104) with individual LEDs (106) spaced longitudinally along the direction of the component (102). A partially translucent housing (120) houses the flexible LED linear light component (102). A curved section (124) of the translucent housing (120) varies in thickness in its lateral surfaces. The thickness may be varied so as to allow a relatively higher percentage of light transmission in areas of weakest LED output strengths. This light output intensity through the translucent housing, in view of the thickness variation, is substantially even or constant circumferentially and radially through the translucent section (124) of the translucent housing (120).
