Abstract: A memory buckle assembly for use with an occupant restraint system includes a left inside case plate and a right inside case plate arranged within a rigid housing. The memory buckle assembly further includes an adjustable stop button and an adjustable memory button, operably mounted on the rigid housing, and configured to engage with a stop button configurator assembly and a memory button configurator assembly operably positioned between the left inside case plate and the right inside case plate within the rigid housing. The memory button configurator assembly is configurable using the adjustable memory button for enabling retention of a preset expanded position of the strap. The stop button configurator assembly is operably coupled to the memory button configurator assembly utilizing a spool gear and a memory gear to enable the expansion and retraction of the strap assisted by manual adjustments of the adjustable stop button.

Abstract: A laminated touch fastener is made in a continuous process on a mold roll. Flowable resin is pressed against the mold roll in limited areas to form projections extending from resin layers that are laminated to a flexible substrate while carried on the mold roll. In one example a continuous channel about the mold roll is positioned such that the resin at least partially fills the channel as the layers are formed, thereby forming in the channel a raised portion in which the resin layer is of a greater thickness than at a point between the projections and the raised portion. In another example, grooves in the mold roll receive ribs of a pressure applicator during forming of the layers, the ribs blocking lateral flow of the resin to form a desired edge profile.

Abstract: Open-ended slide fastener assemblies with improved operability. In some examples, the slide fastener assemblies are watertight and/or airtight. The slide fastener assemblies include one or more sliders and box and pin mechanisms integrated with the slide fastener. Abstract: A pliable assembly and method for restraining and curling hair serves to wrap strands of hair about an elongated panel and then fold a pair of annular members about the ends of the elongated panel to restrain and curl the hair. Further, an elastic retaining band extends between the annular members and intermeshes with the notches in the annular members, so as to securely retain the annular members in the folded arrangement around the strands of curled hair. An elongated body comprises a first end, a second end, and a central slot disposed centrally along the length of the panel. The central slot receives a strand of hair for wrapping around the panel, or an object for stowage. The annular members comprise an outer circumference defined by a junction gap and an inner circumference defined by notches. The restraint band holds annular members in folded arrangement to restrain hair.

Abstract: A hair clip includes a clip main body. The clip main body includes a hair-sectioning piece to be inserted into hair for gathering a bundle of hair; and a hair-holding piece joined to and cooperating with the hair-sectioning piece for providing a hair-holding space, and movable relative to the hair-sectioning pieces in response to an external force for enlarging the hair-holding space and creating an open mouth from which the bundle of hair enters the hair-holding space. A specified clearance is provided between the hair-sectioning piece and the hair-holding piece for accommodating a plurality of hair-retaining teeth in the hair-holding space. The hair clip further includes an adaptive hair-retaining arm joined to the clip main body and deformable to an extent varying with a volume of the bundle of hair to at least partially cover the open mouth for retaining the bundle of hair in the hair-holding space.

The portable electronic device retaining system embodies a tray-holder assembly for securing the electronic device and a jacket-case adapted to operatively associate with the tray-holder assembly for easy transport and storage thereof. The tray-holder assembly provides side handles and bottom feet for stably securing the tray-holder assembly by hand and on a supporting surface. The jacket-case is adapted to encase the tray-holder assembly in a closed and locked mode for transport or storage, yet the jacket-case allows the handles and feet of the tray-holder assembly to operatively protrude therethrough.

The power tool includes a tool housing, a battery receptacle positioned adjacent the tool housing, and a battery selectively received within the battery receptacle. The belt clip includes a body with a first member that has a first portion and a connecting portion. The first portion is received in a complementary groove on an interior surface of the battery receptacle, and the connecting portion is substantially perpendicular to the first portion and is configured to extend between the battery receptacle and the battery. Abstract: Modular and flexible interchangeable brush system to scrub a container. The brush system includes a handle having a first core and a second core. A sleeve is provided into which the first core and the second core are disposed. A flexible stem is removably connected to the first core of the handle. The flexible stem has at least one gap into which a resilient material is disposed. The location of the gap is at a bend location along a longitudinal axis of the handle. A first brush is operatively connected to the flexible stem, and a second brush is operatively connected to, and received within, the second core of the handle.

Abstract: A hand attachable animal washing apparatus, attachable upon the hand of a user, enables singlehanded control of water flow and application of water into the coat of an animal. Control of water flow though a molded body portion is effective by singlehanded operation of a valve assembly disposed interiorly within the molded body portion. A user is enabled to open and close the valve assembly by compressing a compressible portion disposed proximally overlying the user's palm when wearing the apparatus upon one hand. A user may thereby control and apply water applied to an animal with one hand while securing and comforting the animal with the other hand.

In an illustrative example, the mechanical junctions may be releasably and/or shock-cord-coupled to various support rods and/or legs. The mechanical junctions may include locking mechanisms to lock the associated poles into a fixed position relative to the mechanical junctions, for example. The collapsible chair may include gear loops for hanging of gear from the collapsible chair. In various embodiments, a collapsible chair may advantageously provide a full size, lightweight chair configured for compact storage in a stowage bag for high portability during outdoor hiking.

A front foldable leg brace is connected between the two front leg supports and a rear foldable leg brace is connected between the two rear leg supports. In preferred embodiments, the chair may be utilized in a variety of seating arrangements, such as: bleacher seating, concrete stadium seating, slope seating, flat surface seating and uneven surface seating.

The second end region of the armature includes attachment structure that couples the armature to the object. The armature preferably includes multiple sections that telescope relative to one another to provide the armature with its adjustable length.

Abstract: This disclosure provides designs for inexpensive devices that can be sturdy, pleasing to the eye, light in weight, and attractively padded, to form an enclosure around an infant or neonate that is open at its bottom. These devices protect neonates from injury during bed-sharing or co-sleeping with other individuals. These enclosures include roll-over bars to protect infants and neonates from being injured or asphyxiated by weight of a co-sleeper inadvertently moving on top of a roll-over bar. Devices can be shaped to allow for easy placement and removal of the infant, or to place the enclosure with the respective roll-over bar(s) over an infant. Roll-over bar(s) can be hinged or intercalated with pivots to deflect frame base portions when an infant body part finds itself accidentally caught under them.

An image acquisition device for finding a view is arranged separately on a frame edge of the intelligent picture frame in each presentation state, and when the intelligent picture frame in use transitions to whichever presentation state, switching can be made to the corresponding image acquisition device, so that there is a dedicated image acquisition device to find a view for the intelligent picture frame in whichever presentation state.

Abstract: A method of producing a wine glass (W) to which a decorative piece (J) is mounted and permanently held in place. The method includes first selecting a decorative piece from a plurality of decorative pieces, then cleaning a portion of the glass to which the decorative piece is to be attached. Next, a glue is applied to a backside of the decorative piece, the backside being fitted against an outer surface of the glassware, and the glue including a resin sensitive to ultraviolet (UV) light. Finally, the wine glass and decorative piece are radiated with an ultraviolet light having a defined wavelength for a predetermined period of time for the light to cure the resin and permanently affix the decorative piece to the wine glass.

Abstract: A beverage can holding apparatus for holding a beverage can includes a cam lever having a hook end engaging a pull tab and a clamping end defining a bore. A pin is positioned in the bore for pivotal movement of the cam lever thereabout. A cam handle member includes an actuator end coupled to the pin and an opposing finger ring, the actuator end having an irregular shape having narrow and expanded portions acting as a cam. A clamp is coupled to the cam handle member for engaging an outer surface of the lip of the beverage can. The cam handle member is a cam that selectively locks the cam lever onto the beverage can. A cover assembly is removably coupled to the cam lever, the cover base having a lip portion operable for engaging the lip of the beverage can and covering the drink opening of the beverage can.

Also included are an elongated through hole formed in the first clamping member, a circular arc wall extending from the elongated through hole and gradually shallowing from a depth, a position-limiting axle between inside wall surfaces of the second clamping member, a tightness adjusting assembly including a rounded-head pushing rod, and a rotation assembly for coupling the clamp body and the holder. As such, the clamp body that has one arm to fix and one arm to move could improve stability of clamping. The arrangement of the elongated through hole and the circular arc wall gradually shallowing from a depth is used to reduce a size of the tightness adjusting assembly projecting to outside.

Abstract: An inverted bottle holder intended to hold two bottles with necks upside down inside a container is described. The bottle holder includes a clip having an inner wall and an outer wall spaced to accept the exterior wall of the container in between, where the clip is formed at an arc corresponding to the arc of the exterior wall of the container, and a deck connected in a permanently fixed relationship to the clip and extending into the container. The deck includes two apertures each sized to accept the neck of one of the bottles, such that each bottle is held upside down in the container when inserted into the aperture. In addition the bottle holder may include an integral bottle opener in either the single bottle or double bottle designs.

As such, assembling the curtain rod assembly does not require the use of screws, nails, or other items which may permanently damage the curtain rod assembly, limit the longevity or usefulness of the curtain rod assembly, or present a danger to the user.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a masticating juicer may include a housing defining a compression chamber with an inner wall, at least one inlet, at least one juice outlet, and at least one pulp outlet. An auger may be rotatably mounted within the compression chamber and may include upstream and downstream ends and an auger surface in between. The auger may be rotatable about an axis of rotation to masticate and convey material in a downstream direction. The auger may be sized so that a cavity is formed between the auger surface and the inner wall of the compression chamber. An elastic restrictor may extend circumferentially around an interior of the compression chamber to at least partially span the cavity. The elastic restrictor may be shaped to provide variable resistance to material conveyed by the auger depending on a relative position of the material between the inner wall and the auger surface.
