The first layer is formed from a first yarn having a first shrinkage rate and the second layer is formed by a second yarn having a second shrinkage rate. The shrinkage rate of the first yarn is greater than the shrinkage rate of the second yarn when subjected to heat. Upon heat exposure, the second layer forms a raised structure. The raised structures have a length that is generally perpendicular to the lateral-to-medial course-wise direction of the knitted article. Methods of forming raised structures are also disclosed.

Abstract: An article of footwear provides improved stability and support by incorporating a strap to overlay over an instep area of an upper component that is comprised of a knitted material. The strap includes engagement members on an underside of the strap that engage ribbing structures that are part of the knitted material on an outer surface of the instep area. By engaging with the ribbing structures, the strap provides improved stability and support.

In an example, a drive apparatus to rotate a lace spool of a motorized lacing engine within a footwear platform can include a gear motor, a gear box, a worm drive, and a worm gear. The gear box can be mechanically coupled to the gear motor, and the gear box can include a drive shaft extending opposite the gear motor. The worm drive can be slidably keyed to the drive shaft to control rotation of the worm drive in response to gear motor activation. The worm gear can rotate the lace spool upon rotation of the worm drive to tighten or loosen a lace cable on the footwear platform.

Therefore, the present invention can effectively restrain a sliding movement of the upper buckle relative to the upper strap and toward the shoulder portion by engagement of the anti-sliding structure and the upper strap and abutment of the stopping component and the upper buckle, which prevents an excessive decrease of a length of the shoulder portion of the upper strap and prevents a potential risk of injury of the passenger's upper body.

Abstract: A Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Bag is provided which is a medical supply bag specifically designed to provide emergency supplies to emergency medical technicians in the event of a mass casualty event such as in a public gathering. The MCI bag is designed to allow two medical technicians to treat two or more patients each. The MCI bag is a two-sided, two bag configuration and is designed with identical sets or substantially identical sets of supplies in each bag with some specialty supplies housed in a interconnecting center portion of each bag, where they can be accessed and shared by the two technicians. In one embodiment, the MCI bag is equipped with individual flood lights for each technician to illuminate the accident scene and his patients without the need for hand held flashlights or head lamps.

This allows the seating platform to be dynamically reconfigured as needed.
