Abstract: A system, method and device for dynamic workspace resource allocation and management is provided. The system allows users to identify their needs in terms of location, resources and environment of a workspace and identify potentially appropriate workspaces that they can rent. When the user selects a workspace the system can a provision resources such as Wi-Fi, networking and physical access at the site to meet the customer's needs and to automatically revert to the previous configuration or different configuration upon expiration of the rental contract. The provisioning of resources may be a temporary network or virtual network limiting access of the renter to the overall network.

Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for evaluating location-based risk associated with a remote transaction request. The method includes receiving, from a service provider system, a transaction request for a transaction between a user and the service provider system for a requested service, the transaction request identifying at least a location for the requested service. The method also includes generating a risk score for the transaction based at least partially on the transaction request, the location for the requested service, and historical transaction data. The method further includes communicating the risk score for the transaction to the service provider system. Communicating the risk score to the service provider system causes the service provider system to take at least one action based at least partially on the risk score for the transaction.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for identifying and evaluating risk alerts are provided. Aspects include receiving risk alert data comprising risk alerts from data sources, obtaining, by the processor, client geographical data comprising one or more locations of interest, wherein the one or more locations of interest comprise infrastructure resource for the client, determining one or more trusted data sources that are most relevant to define an impact of one or more risk events from the risk alert data affecting one or more locations of interest for the client based on the risk alert data and the client geographical data, determining impactful risk events that affect locations of interest for the client based on trusted risk alert data from the trusted data sources and the client geographical data, and displaying the trusted data sources, the one or more impactful risk events, and the one or more locations.

The calculation can be based on an estimated repair cost, a monetary value associated with the loss of service to customers and also a monetary value associated with the interruption of transportation such as traffic interruption. The calculation can also take into account a pipe segments proximity to a critical facility.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating workflows are provided herein. A request for a workflow is received from a user. The request includes workflow identification information. Based on the received request, a database that includes a plurality of workflows is accessed and the identification information from the received request is compared to identification information from the plurality of workflows. Based on the comparing, one or more of the plurality of workflows is selected. The requested workflow is generated from at least a portion of the one or more of the plurality of workflows and provided to the user.

Abstract: Techniques to enhance employee performance using machine learning are described. In some embodiments, these techniques are directed to rendering recommendations to employee reviews by processing, via an input device, an employee review between a manager and an employee, the employee review comprising employee-related remarks by the manager, using the machine learning model to identify at least one employee-related remark of the employee review to have a negative impact on employee performance, the negative impact being attributed to a reviewer type of the manager or a personality type of the employee, and displaying, on an output device, an annotated employee review wherein the annotated employee review comprises the employee review and data indicating that the at least one employee-related remark is likely to result in the negative impact. Abstract: A method is presented for organizing and carrying out a training program, a seminar or a workshop having a plurality of participants to assist each participant in improving an efficiency and function of a business organization to which that participant belongs. The method exposes the participants to structures and regulations utilized for maintaining proper function of a deployed submarine having a plurality of crew members. Each crew member is subjected to a check-in procedure and required to assume ownership of a role. Each crew member must qualify to perform a function associated with the assumed role and each crew member has an assigned ombudsman. The training procedure then equates members of the business organization to which a participant belongs to those crew members. The invention has the advantage of improving performance elements dependent on factors which are of evident importance in a submarine environment but whose central relevance normally remains unnoticed in a normal business organization.

Abstract: A system and method for use in managing and preparing for scheduled procedures that are characterized as being interdependent and variable. The disclosed method enables schedule risk management and provides a look-ahead capability along with process diagnostics to isolate specific assets and tasks that can be managed to reduce schedule risk. The method facilitates review of upcoming tasks by the process stakeholders for education as to where the schedule risks reside and in an emulation mode for review and improved scheduling going forward. The data processing system retrieves model configuration information from an instrument catalog database attached to the data processing system based on the manufacturer's catalog information. Abstract: An order assignment method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method includes: determining a first delivery person corresponding to an order; estimating a delivery efficiency indicator corresponding to delivery performed by the first delivery person for the order; determining that the order is a recallable order if the delivery efficiency indicator is higher than a corresponding preset delivery efficiency indicator threshold, and associating the order with a recallable attribute, and assigning the order to the first delivery person. The first delivery person can conveniently perform a recall operation on the order based on the recallable attribute. Moreover, by first determining whether an order is a recallable order based on the delivery efficiency indicator, the validity of the recall of the order may be ensured.

In some embodiments, a mobile computing device of a customer may determine whether the mobile computing device and therefore the customer are in a pickup zone for a store. In response to determining that the mobile computing device is in the pickup zone, the mobile computing device may notify the customer and request whether the customer wishes to initiate pickup of purchased items from the store. The mobile computing device may notify a merchandise pickup system of the customer's desire to pickup the purchased items.

A policy processor component can determine conditions and constraints relating to claim validity, based on a result of an analysis of policy data of a set of policies associated with a service identity and relating to services and procedures, to facilitate generation of probabilistic logic data relating to the conditions and constraints relating to the claim validity. The policy processor component can encode the conditions and the constraints to generate the probabilistic logic data, and store the probabilistic logic data and information relating to the conditions and constraints in a knowledge database component. A claim management component can determine a validity status of a claim and a probability that the validity status is correct based on evaluation of the probabilistic logic data and claim data relating to the claim. The validity status can be valid or invalid.

If funding for the payment is positively assessed, the present subject matter composites a front and back image of the check and performs an endorsement of the check. Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing dynamic foreign exchange includes receiving an indication of a number associated with a card used to access an automated teller machine. A portion of the number identifying an issuer of the card may be extracted. Based on the issuer of the card, it may be determined that dynamic foreign exchange should be offered for a transaction. Then, a request may be sent to a foreign exchange rate service device for a dynamically-determined foreign exchange rate quote, the quote to be provided to the automated teller machine. An indication that the quoted rate was accepted at the automated teller machine may be received and then the transaction may be processed with foreign exchange provided at the quoted rate by an entity associated with the foreign exchange rate service device.
