Abstract: A patting bag structure, which is furled when an external force is applied thereto, includes a bag body and at least one elastic furling element. The bag body includes an opening, a patting portion and a housing portion, wherein the patting portion is connected to the housing portion, and the opening is connected to the housing portion by the patting portion. The at least one elastic furling element is disposed on the patting portion of the bag body, wherein the at least one elastic furling element is furled when the external force is applied thereto, and the patting portion is furled together with the elastic furling element so as to disconnect the opening from the housing portion.

Abstract: The invention relates to a capsule (1) for a flanged cork stopper, the capsule (1) having a body (2) comprising a top (3) and a cavity (4) inside which at least two anti-rotation splines (5) are arranged, and the capsule further comprising an axial retention chamber (6) disposed within said cavity (4), wherein retention chamber (6) is shaped to receive and axially retain a flange of a flanged cork stopper. Abstract: A twist and flip closure includes first and second closure portions. The first closure portion includes a top wall portion, a skirt portion, and first and second frangible connections. The first frangible connection extends around the closure circumference. The second frangible connection has first and second sections. The second frangible connection is spaced from the first frangible connection. At least a portion of the second frangible connection is located further from the top wall portion than a portion of the first frangible connection. The second frangible connection defines an area adapted to form a tab. The second closure portion includes a tamper-evident band. The closure is adapted to be opened by twisting to break the frangible connections and expose the tab and then flipping the first closure portion from the second closure portion via the exposed tab. The closure is adapted to be locked when flipped.

Abstract: A sheet metal lid has a rim portion removably secured and sealed to a container and the lid includes a vent button having a top wall portion surrounded by a side wall portion and an outwardly projecting flange portion. The flange portion of the button has a short arcuate score or shear line extending substantially into the sheet metal, and additional score lines extend into the flange portion at lesser depths to protect a coating on the inner surface of the lid. A resilient sealant material may be bonded to the inner surface of the vent button, and the opposing sheet metal portions of the score line form a small gap for releasing a vacuum or pressure from the container in response to a controlled downward pressure on the top wall portion of the vent button.

Abstract: A container with a tamper-evident closing system is disclosed. A linker may connect a bottom lip extending from a storage area of the container and a top lip extending from the lid. A perforated region positioned between the linker and the bottom lip is severed upon application of pressure by a user's hand so as to open the tamper-evident closing system. The linker may include a tab that extends down from the linker when the container is in the closed position and is moved up by the user so as to first open the container. The lower lip may include a cutout region and designed to receive a finger of the user when in the closed position. The container may also include a scoring positioned between the linker and the top lip, and this scoring may facilitate bending of the linker in a vertical position.

The cap is provided in a broad variety of different colors and corresponds to the color of the accompanying seal ring, such that a bottler may provide a differently colored cap and a corresponding colored seal ring on each bottle in a package of multiple bottles. Sufficient colors are provided to support 12, 24, or 36 users with a different color cap and seal ring for each user. Preferably, the bottles are packaged such that four colors are used in a 12-pack, four or six colors are used in a 24-pack, and six colors are used in a 36-pack.

Abstract: An object is to provide a packaging bag that can be suitably used with provision of a score line. The packaging bag has a rectangular shape formed by overlapping film sheets and sealing at least three edges thereof to form a container part. In the packaging bag, a score line, in which the strength of the film is reduced, is formed on the container part away from the seal part in plan view. The packaging bag further includes a notch formed in at least one edge among the three edges and serving as a start point for breaking the film when the container part is to be opened. The score line is formed along a straight line extending from the notch to an edge facing the edge in which the notch is formed, in a direction perpendicular to the edge in which the notch is formed.

Abstract: A flexible packaging laminate is formed to have a built-in opening and reclose feature by forming the laminate as a two-part structure having an outer structure joined in face-to-face relation with an inner structure. Score lines are formed in both structures to enable an opening to be formed through the laminate by lifting an opening portion (e.g., a flap or the like) of the two structures out of the plane of the laminate. The score line through the outer structure defines a larger opening than the score line through the inner structure, such that a marginal region of the outer structure extends beyond the edge of the opening portion of the inner structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate.

The flexible pouch is formed from a top and a bottom web of material. A sealant strip is attached to a top edge of each of the top and bottom webs of material. A fitment having a canoe and spout is positioned such that the canoe is positioned between the first and second sealant strips. The height of the canoe and the width of the first and second sealing strips are the same to minimize the amount of sealant material. The first and second sealant strips are sealed to each other along the entire width of the flexible pouch to entrap the canoe of the fitment between the top and bottom webs.

Abstract: There is provided a cooking bag having one or more integrated features for assisting in cooking a food item via sous vide or other convectional cooking methods. One such feature is an interior bag wall that separates its interior volume into first and second compartments, one for a food item to be cooked and the other for a solid seasoning item. The interior bag wall includes a liquid permeable portion that allows liquid to pass between the first and second compartments but inhibits the passage of solids. Another feature is a thermometer integrated into the bag for indicating whether a food item has reached a predetermined threshold temperature during cooking.

Abstract: A package containing nuts and suitable for microwave heating is described herein. The package is configured to heat the nuts and provide an aroma reminiscent of traditional, freshly-roasted nuts. The freshly-roasted nut attributes include an aroma, temperature, texture and taste, which are reproduced with the microwave package. The package preferably, though not necessarily, incorporates one or more susceptors in order to provide additional heating, such as conductive heating, to the nuts. The package also preferably includes a sufficient headspace to allow for the aromas to develop.

The signal may be read by a portable reader carried by municipal personnel to record violations of municipal code associated with the use of the discreet receptacle.

The locking hasp is linearly slidable on the base plate between a first arm distal position spaced from container lid and a first arm interlocking position adjacent the container lid. Some instances include a locking bolt mounted on a bolt base mounted on the container lid. The locking bolt is linearly slidable on the bolt base between an unlocked position spaced from the locking hasp arm and an interlocked position adjacent the container lid and in interlocking communication with the locking hasp arm. Some methods can require two hands to operate the locking apparatus.

The present invention simultaneously transports a plurality of material boxes between the material storage apparatuses and between the material storage apparatus and the processing equipment.

Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to automatically balance and buffer the return of empty containers or other totes to a plurality of areas. In some embodiments, a control circuit employs a logic system in which empty totes are directed along primary, secondary, or tertiary paths depending on information gathered from sensors regarding the availability of space for empty totes at a plurality of potential destinations. In this way, the return of empty totes to one or more points of origin may be buffered to balance the number of empty totes in one or more areas.
