Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing a trial in one or more fields is provided. According to an embodiment, an agricultural intelligence computer system identifies a plurality of sets of adjacent locations in a field and computes a difference value between the locations. The system uses the different values for the plurality of sets of adjacent locations to determine a short length variability score. The system may then use the short length variability score to identify fields for implementing a trial and/or locations within a field to implement the trial. In embodiments, the system uses a grid overlay which the system orients based on header information received from agricultural implements. In embodiments, the system alters the grid overlay to increase a number of testing locations on the agricultural field and/or within different management zones.

Abstract: An agricultural harvesting machine comprises a path processing system that obtains a predicted crop yield at a plurality of different field segments along a harvester path on a field, and obtains field data corresponding to one or more of the field segments generated based on sensor data as the agricultural harvesting machine is performing a crop processing operation. A yield correction factor is generated based on the received field data and the predicted crop yield at the one or more field segments. Based on applying the yield correction factor to the predicted crop yield, a georeferenced probability metric is generated indicative of a probability that the harvested crop repository will reach the fill capacity at a particular geographic location along the field. A control signal generator generates a control signal to control the agricultural harvesting machine based on the georeferenced probability metric.

Abstract: A grain spreader wherein grain received in the hopper is directed to spreader arms by a spreader cone. The spreader cone has a convergent cone and a divergent cone. The spreader cone has a center opening that allows a first portion of the grain collecting in the convergent cone to pass through and fall through the underside of the divergent cone. The grain spreader further includes support springs that lift the spreader cone upwards into the hopper when the spreader cone is lightly loaded. A center flow choke is configured to throttle the flow of grain through the center opening to partially close the center opening in low grain flow conditions, wherein the center flow choke is mounted to the hopper body such that up and down movement of the spreader cone moves the center opening into or out of engagement with the center flow choke.

The first step of planting method is preparing the seeds and creating initial Teak trees. Secondly, seven different species of trees including Poulownia trees, Pine trees, Western white pines, Azobe trees, Red wood trees, White cedar trees, Soft maple trees are grafted onto the initial Teak trees to create the grafted Teak trees. Next, the grafted Teak trees shall be taken care to adapt to the environment. After that, the grafted Teak trees shall be sterilized and planted in the nurseries. Finally, the grafted Teak trees shall be moved to the farm for large-area planting.

Abstract: A hanging device hangs a first decorative element such as a wreath, a display, or a sign, and incorporates a secondary decorative element enhanced with one or more of light, animation, motion detection, audio, and other effects powered by a power source and attached or fixed to the same decorative hanger. The hanging device may be a unitary, solid, and one-piece component, or incorporate an element that allows the height of the secondary decorative element to be adjusted relative to the first decorative element so that the second element may be suitably positioned relative to the first element. The hanging device may include an arm that may be arranged to stabilize the first element and second element that may be hanging from a supporting plane or surface. The hanging device may prevent the first element and the second element from damaging the supporting plane or surface.

Abstract: A pot for culturing an epiphyte, in particular an orchid, is provided. The pot is integrally injection molded from a transparent plastic and has a bottom, a lower edge, an upper edge and a sidewall extending between the lower edge and the upper edge. The sidewall of the pot is provided with an outwardly protruding lip at the level of the upper edge. A cross section through the sidewall of the pot, tangent to the lower face of the lip, has a substantially hexagonal or octagonal shape. Consequently, the pot, at least at the top, is hexagonal or octagonal, thus allowing more pots to be positioned per unit area compared to a round shape having the same diameter as the diameter of the circumscribed circle of the hexagonal or octagonal shape.

Abstract: A monokaryotic mycelium sheet producing system for creating a sheet of monokaryotic mycelial material. The mycelium sheet producing system includes a culture unit, a spore stock unit, a plating unit, a section unit, a sub-plating unit, an expanding unit and a colonization unit. The culture unit prepares a monokaryon culture. The spore stock unit grows a plurality of fruit bodies in sterile laboratory conditions to create a spore stock. The plating unit performs a peroxide-based spore rescue and a plating process. The section unit is adaptable to section robust hyphae. The sub-plating unit sub-plates and expands the robust hyphae onto a spawn grain master. The expanding unit subsequently expands the spawn grain master into appropriate production of spawn volume. The colonization unit is adaptable to perform a subsequent colonization of mycelium substrate thereby creating a substantially defect free sheet of mycelium.
