Publication number: 20200215339Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to implantable medical devices (IMDs) and methods for use therewith. Such a method includes enabling a communication capability of an IMD during a message alert period and monitoring for a message while the communication capability is enabled during the message alert period. In response to receiving a message during the message alert period, there is a determination whether the message is valid or invalid. If the message is invalid, the message is ignored, and an invalid message count is incremented. A further message is monitored for during the message alert period occurs, when the invalid message count has not yet reached a corresponding invalid message count threshold. The communication capability of the IMD is disabled for a disable period, when the invalid message count reaches the corresponding invalid message count threshold. If a valid message is received, the IMD acts upon information included therein.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2020Publication date: July 9, 2020Applicant: Pacesetter, Inc.Inventors: Matthew G. Publication number: 20200215340Abstract: An implantable system including an atrial leadless pacemaker (aLP) and a ventricular leadless pacemaker (vLP), and methods for use therewith, are configured or used to terminate a pacemaker mediated tachycardia (PMT). One of the aLP or the vLP detects a PMT and informs the other one. The aLP initiates a PMT PA interval that is shorter than a PA interval that the aLP would otherwise use for atrial pacing if a PMT was not detected. The vLP initiates a PMT PV interval that is longer than the PMT PA interval. If an intrinsic atrial or ventricular event is detected before PMT PA interval or the PMT PV interval expires, then these intervals will be terminated, otherwise an atrial chamber will be paced if the PMT PA interval expires, and/or a ventricular chamber will be paced if the PMT PV interval expires. This should have the effect of terminating the PMT.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2019Publication date: July 9, 2020Applicant: Pacesetter, Inc.Inventors: Chunlan Jiang, Matthew G. Fishler

Publication number: 20200215374Abstract: A method for relaxing muscles and reducing tension in a human body based on neurohematologic diversion (NHD) which intends to reverse the flows of the neurological and vascular systems to effect changes in the musculoskeletal system. Neurological diversion occurs by interrupting the central nervous system's (CNS) autonomic sympathetic neurological flow to muscles of the axial spine and extremities. Vascular diversion occurs as the participant performs contractions using a most minimal force level in axial or peripheral muscle groups, which are neurologically linked to those in the hands and face to promote the shunting of blood to said muscle groups. The method is termed as Low Motion Method (LMM) that enables the participant to use inherent physiological processes to relax muscles and remove muscular tension in the human body.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2019Publication date: July 9, 2020Inventor: Joseph D. Publication number: 20200215380Abstract: The present disclosure proposes an electric treadmill. The electric treadmill includes a base and an armrest. The base includes a front frame, a rear frame and a connecting assembly, wherein tread boards are provided within the front frame and the rear frame, and the front frame and the rear frame are hinged by the connecting assembly to enable the base to be folded. The armrest includes a vertical tube and a cross tube, wherein one end of the vertical tube is connected to the cross tube and the other end of the vertical tube is rotatably coupled to the base to allow the armrest to be foldable with respect to the base. The front frame and the rear frame may be folded with respect to each other, thus, a length of the base is greatly reduced for storage.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 28, 2019Publication date: July 9, 2020Inventor: Kaibin Xing

Publication number: 20200215381Abstract: An item of exercise equipment with a movable support that is movable in a fore-aft direction and simultaneously movable laterally, e.g. about a tilt axis. The exercise equipment may be a cycle mounted to a base. A roller and track arrangement may be provided between the cycle and base, to provide movement of the cycle in the axial direction and in a tilt direction relative to the base. The roller and track arrangement may be one or more curved roller and track engagement surfaces that extend in the axial direction and provide a gravity bias of the platform toward an axial neutral position. The cycle and base include a tilt biasing arrangement for biasing the cycle toward a tilt neutral position relative to the base.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2020Publication date: July 9, 2020Inventors: Benjamin Raymond Bass, Dustin Lee Kohl, Andrew Haaia, Ryan Lutzen

Publication number: 20200215382Abstract: Non-stationary exercise “inch worm” style platforms are supported by either several skateboard trucks or large wheels on the outside of the platforms. The skateboard trucks include wheels secured to the platform via screws or other fastening mechanisms. At least one wheel includes a ratcheted or clutched one-way bearing to limit movement of the wheel in the desired direction(s). Notched wheels in combination with a track secured to the floor or a greased metal rod or pipe secured on the underside of several platforms can be utilized for further controlling directional movement. Where several platforms are used, the use of a secured stop on the rear platform allows the front platform to move forward as the user's abdominal muscles provide energy for moving the platforms in one direction. Hand-controlled break rods with rubber or plastic stops allow the user to control the pace at which the board is used.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 4, 2019Publication date: July 9, 2020Inventor: Philip Sankot

Publication number: 20200215383Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for non-linear breathing entrainment. As described herein, “breathing entrainment” refers to guiding a user's breath or breathing. According to an aspect, an initial breathing period and a final breathing period are selected. Based on the initial and final breathing periods, a non-linear breath rate per minute sequence is determined. A guiding stimulus is output and aligned with the non-linear breath rate per minute sequence. The guiding stimulus is non-linearly altered with the non-linear breath rate per minute sequence to align with the final breathing period over an interval of time. The non-linear alterations of the guiding stimulus vary based on an amount of time the guiding stimulus has been output.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 6, 2020Publication date: July 9, 2020Inventors: Harsh A.
