  • Patent number: PP32160
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plum tree and more particularly to a new and distinct variety broadly characterized by a small size, moderately vigorous, hardy, and very productive tree. Being self-unfruitful, the present variety requires cross pollination from an apricot, interspecific, or plum that blooms during the mid season, such as ‘Plumcandy XIII’ plum tree (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 28,468). The fruit matures under the ecological conditions described during the last part of September, with first picking on Sep. 29, 2019, and will hang on the tree an additional thirty days. The fruit is uniformly medium to large in size, very dark red in skin color, orange yellow to dark red in flesh color, clingstone in type, slightly oblate in shape, firm in texture, very sweet, and excellent in flavor.

  • Patent number: RE48197
Abstract: A leadless pacing device (LPD) includes a motion sensor configured to generate a motion signal as a function of heart movement. The LPD is configured to analyze the motion signal within an atrial contraction detection window that begins an atrial contraction detection delay period after activation of the ventricle, and detect a contraction of an atrium of the heart based on the analysis of the motion signal within the atrial contraction detection window. If the LPD does not detect a ventricular depolarization subsequent to the atrial contraction, e.g., with an atrio-ventricular (AV) interval beginning when the atrial contraction was detected, the LPD delivers a ventricular pacing pulse.

  • Patent number: 10765052
Abstract: A disc harrow implement has gang assemblies each having aligned disc gangs carried by a support bar. Each disc gang has disc blades spaced along an axis of the disc gang. The disc gangs of each gang assembly are coaxially aligned to create a line of substantially equally spaced disc blades. A plugging detection system alerts an operator if one or more of the disc gangs are rotating at a rotational speed that is slower than rotational speeds of the remaining disc gangs. The plugging detection system includes a gang rotation sensor for each of disc gangs. Each gang rotation sensor is configured to measure the rotational speed of the connected disc gang. A control module compares the rotational speed of each disc gang to the rotational speed of the disc gangs and generates an output that indicates when a disc gang is rotating more slowly that the other disc gangs.

  • Patent number: 10765067
Abstract: An apparatus and method for wrapping an object. The object is on an object support. A wrapping unit drive rotates a wrapping unit part with a holder for wrapping material around the object. A barrier in a protecting position provides a mechanical safety mechanism. When the barrier is moved into a further position, an interrupter is moved into an interrupting position and interrupts a supply connection for the wrapping unit drive. Thereby the wrapping unit part is no longer rotated.

  • Patent number: 10765068
Abstract: A bale wrap mechanism for use with a roll of wrap material, the bale wrap mechanism including a frame including a wrap chute formed from one or more perimeter walls, where the wrap chute defines a wrap axis extending longitudinally therethrough, and where the one or more perimeter walls at least partially define a passageway, a wrap arm coupled to the frame, the wrap arm having a mounting point movable with respect to the frame, and a shaft coupled to the mounting point and configured to support the roll of wrap material thereon, where the shaft is configured to travel along a wrap path during a wrapping process, where the wrap path surrounds the passageway, and where the wrap path is non-circular in shape.

  • Patent number: 10765069
Abstract: Embodiments include a computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for supplementing sub-optimal environmental conditions for plant growth, the embodiments include receiving plant data for a plant, and extracting optimal growth condition data from a database based at least in part on the plant. Embodiments also include obtaining sensor data from sensors monitoring current growth conditions of the plant and comparing the current growth conditions of the plant to the optimal growth condition data from the database to estimate a current cytoplasmic streaming rate. Embodiments include responsive to the comparison, calculating, by the calculation engine, a sound wave frequency to stimulate cytoplasmic streaming in the plant, transmitting the sound wave frequency to a speaker, and providing the sound wave frequency to the plant.

  • Patent number: 10765070
Abstract: A system for sowing seeds in cells of a germination tray or other container and related methods of operation. The system may include a conveyor configured to move the germination tray in a conveying direction, a seed storage container configured to hold a plurality of seeds, a seed sowing machine, and a seed diverting mechanism. The seed sowing machine may be configured to transfer the seeds from the seed storage container along at least one seed transport path and into respective cells of the germination tray as the conveyor moves the germination tray in the conveying direction. The seed diverting mechanism may be configured to selectively divert seeds from the at least one seed transport path such that the diverted seeds are not deposited in cells of the germination tray during operation.

  • Patent number: 10765073
Abstract: A soil sensor assembly and methods of measuring undisturbed soil are disclosed. The soil sensor assembly can be a volumetric water content (VWC) sensor. The soil sensor assembly can include at least one soil probe. The soil probes can be secured to a support to enable an installation of the soil sensor assembly in a target soil. The soil probes can include helical blades secured concentrically along the support at predefined longitudinal locations. The soil probes can include at least one radiofrequency (RF) electrode secured to the helical blades at a predefined radial distance from a longitudinal axis of the support. The soil sensor assembly can also include at least one electronics unit coupled to the RF electrodes to receive and/or transmit RF signals from the RF electrodes. The soil sensor assembly can enable a self-tapping installation action and/or enable alienating the soil measurements (e.g., by RF electrodes) away from a disturbed soil.
