Abstract: Vaporizer devices and methods for detecting inhalation through a vaporizer using a heating element are provided. A resistive heater of a vaporizer may function as both a heater and as an anemometer to detect inhalation. Alternatively or additionally, a separate resistive heater may be included in an air path through the vaporizer to detect a user inhaling through the vaporizer. A heating control mechanism utilizes the already existing heating element in an anemometric correlation to when the vaporizer is idle and when it is being used (where being used implies the user is taking a puff/inhalation on the vaporizer). Using this information, a controller of the vaporizer accordingly controls heating to the vaporizer as required.

Abstract: An atomizer includes an upper cover assembly, an atomizing device and a regulating assembly. The atomizing device is arranged between the upper cover assembly and the regulating assembly. The regulating assembly includes a regulating base and a regulating ring rotatably sleeved about the regulating base. The regulating base is provided with at least one first circulating portion in fluid communication with the atomizing device. The regulating ring is provided with a second circulating portion arranged corresponding to the first circulating portion. An area of communication between the first circulating portion and the second circulating portion is changed by rotating the regulating ring. The atomizer has a good leak-proof function.

Abstract: A flavor disk for use in a vaporizer is disclosed. The flavor disk may include a plurality of chambers, each chamber storing a flavor component. The flavor disk may further include an actuator for each chamber, the actuator configured to selectively release a portion of the flavor component from the chamber. The flavor disk may further include a flow path positioned to receive the portion of the flavor component and mix the portion of the flavor component with incoming fluid. The flavor disk may further include control circuitry for actuating the actuator.

Abstract: Aerosol-cooling elements for use with an apparatus for heating smokable material are disclosed. In one example, the element is a rod having a first end and a second end and comprising at least one tube within the rod, with the at least one tube extending between the first end and the second end so as to provide a through hole extending between the first end and the second end of the rod.

Abstract: A footlet is provided with a heel portion formed by knitting, a toe portion, and a middle portion located between the heel portion and the toe portion. The middle portion comprises lateral sides that extend between the heel portion and the toe portion on either side. The heel portion is provided with a knitted elastic band forming an edge, which is provided with an anti-slip element applied thereto on a side facing the toe portion. The anti-slip element has been applied to the elastic band after the knitting of at least the elastic band.

Abstract: Infant swaddling allows an infant to be comfortably and easily swaddled. The swaddling includes a pouch featuring a lower end that can be opened and closed to allow an infant's soiled diaper to be easily removed and replaced or to take a rectal temperature. The swaddling can include a blanket that comprises a first blanket flap and a second blanket flap and that can be removably attached to the pouch. The swaddle is used by placing one of the blanket flaps over the pouch, and then placing the other blanket flap over the pouch.

Abstract: A pin assembly attachment member with a versatile method of use for support and/or enhancement of apparel. This is an improvement upon conventional attachment hooks designed to attach to a single interchangeable and/or convertible garment. Such conventional hooks have somewhat limited utility. The pin assembly attachment member comprises a solid body comprising of at least one aperture for receiving a formed adjustment loop of straps or apparel, and/or an attachment hook, and comprises of an attachment pin having a distal end for puncturing the fabric of apparel for removably engaging with apparel or combination of a garment and/or a bra or other lingerie. The attachment members can be removably secured to an interior portion adjacent to an upper edge of garment using either the attachment hook or the attachment pin. The attachment hook would be inserted through a loop affixed to the garment. The attachment pin would be inserted through an interior lining of the garment.

Abstract: This invention relates to undergarments for use in active environments, where the wearer of such an undergarment is engaged in an activity that requires accelerating movements. In some preferred embodiments, these undergarments may be sports bras constructed from a stiffened or reinforced material and may include decoupled, damping cups for supporting breast tissue, and a fastening system incorporated into a reinforced underband that allows the wearer to more easily wear and remove the undergarment without compromising underband support.

Abstract: A haptic glove includes a glove body including a glove digit corresponding to a phalange of a user hand. The glove digit has a pair of flexible tendons, including a first and a second tendon, which are parallel to a bend centerline that bisects a surface of the glove digit. The first and second tendons are positioned respectively on opposite sides of the bend centerline. The haptic glove further comprises an actuator coupled to the glove body and the first and second tendons, the actuator configured to actuate the tendons to control movement of the glove digit.

Abstract: An apparel including an apparel body having an operative top edge and an operative bottom edge is disclosed. At least one waist securing portion is defined adjacent the operative top edge of the apparel body, wherein the waist securing portion includes a resilient band. Securing members are provided on the waist securing portion to allow a user to easily wear or remove the apparel, wherein the securing members includes at least one of a hook and loop straps and a button and button loop set. The apparel further includes at least one pocket provided on an inner surface of the skirt body.

Abstract: A garment wearable by an individual using a harness system of a vehicle seat has an inner front layer, and an adjacent outer front layer comprising a left panel, a right panel and a coupling member adapted to join or separate the left and right panels. The garment is adapted to receive one or more harness straps of the harness system between the inner front layer and the outer front layer when the one or more harness straps are routed from a shoulder region to a waist region of the garment, and when so routed, the one or more harness straps lie flush against at least a chest area of the inner front layer.

The heat insulation structure includes at least one first insulation element having a first uncompressed shape, at least one second insulation element having a second uncompressed shape that is different than the first uncompressed shape, and a contact area formed when the first uncompressed shape contacts the second uncompressed shape. The second uncompressed shape is deformable through pressure applied by a wearer's body when the garment is worn, which increases a size of the contact area.

The medical garment includes a body that includes a front portion attached to a back portion by one or more non-partable seams. The medical garment includes first and second sleeves on opposite sides of the medical garment. The first and second sleeves are coupled to the front portion and the back portion of the medical garment. The medical garment includes a flap formed on the front portion and configured to open to expose a portion of a person. The flap includes a partable seam that extends along a top of the body and a portion of a side of the body down to but not beyond a bottom part of the first sleeve where the first sleeve attaches to the body. The flap further includes a fastener to hold the partable seam in a closed position.

The open front pocket is internally lined with grip fabric. The pocket with grip liner enables the operator to hold the bottle securely in place. The slanted base of the front pocket holds the bottle at a comfortable angle to feed the infant. Within the longest portion of the material, there is an indent for shoulder placement. In addition, the back pocket is draped over the operator's back with a secured counter weight at the base of the pocket. The envelope flap of the back pocket covers the opening to the pocket.

The waistband comprises at least one cord comprising a first and second end affixed to the waistband, and an intervening portion movably coupled to the waistband with stitches that form the embroidery tunnel, the embroidery tunnel configured to distribute a tensioning force applied to the cord across at least a portion of the waistband. The embroidery tunnel forms a series of parallel courses across the waistband, with the cord able to move freely within the embroidery tunnel.

The cushioning is three-dimensionally (3D) printed cushioning formed from a plurality of cells. Each cell in the plurality of cells includes a lattice of elongate structures that extend symmetrically around an offset axis. The elongate structures of adjacent cells in the plurality of cells connect so that the plurality of cells form a unitary structure and, as the elongate structures of each cell are compressed by a compressive force, the elongate structures of each cell create a lateral shear. As the compressive force is released, the elongate structures return to a rest position, exerting a restorative force on the insole and/or upper of an article of footwear in which the cushioning is included.

Abstract: Methods for manufacturing uppers for articles footwear that include thermo-forming an upper composed of one or more low melting point thermoplastic polymers. The methods may include disposing a skin for forming an upper over and inflatable bladder. The skin may include at least one of a base layer composed of a low melting point thermoplastic polymer and a grid layer including a yarn composed of a low melting point thermoplastic polymer. The skin and inflatable bladder may be placed into a mold cavity and the mold may be heated to a predetermined temperature. The inflatable bladder may be inflated such that the skin is pressed against an interior surface of the heated mold cavity to cause the skin to take on the shape of the internal surface of the mold cavity, thereby forming an upper for an article of footwear.

The device's various pulsating lights enable low-vision people to travel at night with assured confidence that they will be seen by drivers and cyclists from a safe distance exceeding one mile on a dark street! While at a high traffic lit city intersection the Lumi cane is very noticeable with its strobing rainbow lights 200 yards away, even with competition from other bright artificial lights. Even in dense fog Lumi's LED lights are visible at 40 to 75 yards distance.
