Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a pillow which enables a user to sleep well. To solve this problem, this pillow uses, as a filler, magnesium (Mg) based solid metal particles which are light and have high heat conductivity to enable the user to sleep well by stably holding the user's head and by increasing heat release property from the pillow. Additionally, the user's head can be stably held and heat release property from the pillow further increases by using a pillowcase which has excellent air permeability and cushioning properties and which has a three-dimensional knit structure composed of two layers of knit fabric including an outer knit fabric and an inner knit fabric and a connecting thread that connects the two layers of knit fabric.

Abstract: A garment hanger with particular ease of use advantage when removing or hanging crew neck or turtleneck type shirts or blouses. The hanger provides an easily manipulated and intuitive mechanism for collapsing the garment support portions of the hanger, thus allowing for simple passage through the narrow neck hole of a garment. The hanger further provides an easily manipulated and intuitive mechanism for returning the folded garment support portions to their extended and supportive positions, which can be done with the hanger enveloped within a garment, thus providing an improved means for hanging some shirts or blouses without the need to feed a hanger up through the bottom opening of the garment.

Abstract: An example collapsible secured parcel drop box is disclosed and includes a plurality of side panels defining an interior space, a back panel secured to the side panels, a lid movable between open and closed positions over the interior space and a lock assembly disposed on the lid for locking the lid in position to prevent opening of the lid. The disclosed example drop box also includes a bracket temporarily securing the parcel drop box to a fixed structure and an anti-rotation bracket to maintain a fixed position of the drop box relative to the fixed structure. The drop box collapsible for storage and removable from the door when not required.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a package securing doormat frame having a concealed security tarp. The package securing doormat frame comprises a frame for receiving at least one mat. The frame has a recessed chamber along at least a portion of the perimeter of the frame. A securing rail is operationally related to the frame and repositionable. A security tarp has at least a portion secured to the frame and at least a portion secured by the securing rail. The security tarp is stored in the recessed chamber. When a package is placed on the mat it is secured by repositioning the securing rail which extends the security tarp over the package. The package securing doormat frame can be a web-enabled, Internet of things device.

Abstract: Finial end cap assemblies for telescoping curtain rods are disclosed. The finial assemblies include an outer finial cover and an inner finial base threadably mounted into each end of a curtain rod. A rotatable end pad is mounted on each finial base. The rods may include telescoping sections that are axially extendable from each other and lockable by a twisting motion. During installation on a support structure such as a window frame or shower stall, the finial cover, finial base and end of the curtain rod are fixed together by threaded engagement of the finial base with a threaded insert inside the end of the curtain rod, while the end pad is freely rotatable in order to maintain stationary contact with the support structure when the rod sections are twisted.

An ingredient inside of the cartridge may deposit into the loading compartment as the cartridge passes over the loading compartment. The cup cover assembly includes an upper cover and an inner surface of the upper cover defines an anti-overflow detecting element, and the anti-overflow detecting element electrically is connected to the main control board. When a part of foam contacts the anti-overflow detecting element, the main control board controls the heating device to stop heating and no foam is generated, therefore preventing the foam liquid from overflowing the stirring cup.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to systems and methods for performing eye examinations using an HMD that is able to present an image to each eye individually and then to both eyes simultaneously. Because the HMD, rather than a patient, controls conditions (e.g., glare, brightness) during the examination, test results are more likely to be accurate and reliable. In some embodiments, the HMD employs voice recognition to replicate the conversational exchange that would typically occur between the patient and the ophthalmologist or optometrist. The HMD may also be configured to change the visual environment experienced by the patient during testing. Further yet, the HMD, or another distinct computing system, may be configured to identify abnormal test results in real-time and, in some embodiments, the examination is modified accordingly. For example, tests scheduled to be performed during the examination can be modified or removed and new tests can be added.

Abstract: Eye prescriptions may be determined by providing a simple, easy to use, portable device with a specially configured targeting light source that aligns the eye, mitigates accommodation, and provides accurate results. Unlike stationary, closed view autorefractors, this device typically is portable, self-usable, relatively inexpensive, enabling more widespread use across the world.
