Abstract: A hair extension and wig support apparatus is disclosed that allows a single user to use both hands to easily, efficiently, and accurately cut, style, or color multiple hair extension pieces and wigs. In particular, the hair extension support apparatus includes a head with a magnetic front facial region and a back region having one or more elastic straps for holding one or more hair extensions for cutting, styling, and coloring. The hair extension support apparatus also includes a detachable tray that can slide along a neck region of the support apparatus for supporting the hair extensions or other objects.

Abstract: A make-up brush system includes a mandrel having a first end and a second end. The first end includes a gripping surface for engagement with a hand of a make-up artist and the second end being shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with a plurality of make-up brushes. A plurality of make-up brushes is provided. Each of the plurality of make-up brushes includes a first end and a second end, the first end including a functional component of the make-up brush and the second end including a coupling member shaped and dimensioned for selective engagement with the second end of the mandrel. The system also includes a case both supporting and sanitizing the various components of the present invention. The case includes a tray supporting the plurality of make-up brushes in accessible positions within the case.

Abstract: A brush assembly is disclosed having a brush handle with a variety of vertical and horizontal bristles positioned thereon, as well as middle paddles. The handle fits upon a resting base which may be a suction cup and adapted to collect water which flows down from the bristles and the handle into a collection area, and further directed down a ramp which directs fluid off of the resting base.

Abstract: A paint brush and method of making the same is disclosed. The paint brush includes a velutinous painting portion having a body including a cavity and an opening, an insert disposed within the body, a handle coaxial with the body, and a ferrule connecting the body to the handle to seal the insert within the body. The body includes an interior face having a rigid surface and an exterior face having velutinous members. The velutinous members include animal fur, synthetic filaments, and/or natural fibers. The method includes sewing fabric having a velutinous surface into a pocket having a cavity, positioning the pocket so the velutinous surface faces an exterior of the pocket, inserting a semi-rigid foam insert into the cavity to form a velutinous painting portion, and connecting the velutinous painting portion to a paint brush handle with a ferrule to form a paint brush having a velutinous painting portion.

Disclosed is a desk system having a telescoping leg assembly, configured to adjustable raise or lower a table top of the desk. Abstract: In one aspect, a pharmacy order processing system is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of picking workstations, each picking workstation including a plurality of bins. The system also includes a plurality of trays for carrying a plurality of pharmacy orders, a tray drop-off station, and a tray delivery conveyor extending between the tray drop-off station and the plurality of picking workstations. The system further includes a tray delivery conveyor extending between the tray drop-off station and the plurality of picking workstations. The system includes a plurality of packing workstations, each packing workstation including an opening to receive a scale and a plurality of receptacles configured to receive shipping label printers. The system also includes at least one inspection workstation, the at least one inspection workstation including at least one product scanner. The system further includes a packing delivery conveyor extending from the plurality of packing workstations.

The latch assemblies secure the frame in a lowered position while the recoil springs bias the frame upward.

Abstract: A gun holder includes a central shaft; and a holder part, which has slots formed such that a plurality of guns is respectively and radially held around the central shaft, and is rotatable around the central shaft. The gun holder enables a user to take out a gun assigned only to the user and simply prevents other guns from being withdrawn, and has a locking means corresponding to respective guns when the guns are stored, wherein the locking means is operated by one actuator, thereby enabling power consumption and manufacturing costs to be reduced.

The third rail is movable relative to the first rail and the second rail is movable relative to the fourth rail. When the second rail is moved from a retracted position along a direction, the second rail and the mounting member are synchronously moved through the synchronizing member. When the second rail and the mounting member are moved to a predetermined position, the synchronizing member is driven by the disengaging member of the first rail to be no longer synchronously moved.

Further presented is a method and system that provides privacy during the use of a laptop computer.

Abstract: A flat-screen display wall mount cover protects exposed cables and equipment behind a television or other mounted monitor. The apparatus is configured to be selectively permeable with respect to infrared signals and heat, while being impermeable to dust or harmful airborne particles. The apparatus includes a first flexible crossbar, a second flexible crossbar, a first display-bracing rod, a second display-bracing rod, a first wall-bracing rod, a second wall-bracing rod, and an opaque fabric cover. The first flexible crossbar and the second flexible crossbar are preferably hollow cylindrical units which support and arrangement the opaque fabric cover. Tension from the flexible crossbars allows the apparatus to conform to varying spaces behind a mounted monitor. The display-bracing rods support and position the opaque fabric cover by pressing against a monitor or television. Abstract: A portable seating apparatus and method for easy assembly/disassembly of the same is described. The apparatus is designed for easy display of theme based design components which may be easily changed with minimal effort and complication. The assembly includes standing and swing type embodiments. The apparatus comprises seat, side support, and back rest components. The seat component generally comprises one or more substantially horizontal seat members and a front facing frontboard member to be removably attached with the front of the seat component. Right and left side support components include integral seat support, arm rest and back rest support portions. The backrest component includes at least one backboard member.

Abstract: A seat cushion includes a cushion body defining a first body surface and a second body surface opposite the first body surface, wherein the first body surface is configured to face the seat occupant, and the second body surface is configured to face away from the seat occupant. Abstract: Disclosed herein is an adjustable head supporting apparatus. In the illustrated examples, a garment encases the adjustable head supporting apparatus. The apparatus may include a contoured head element, a contoured shoulder element, and at least one connecting member connectable to each of the head element and the shoulder element. The at least one connecting member may be configured to link the head element and the shoulder element such that the at least one connecting member facilitates displacing the head element and the shoulder element to adjust spacing between them and the at least one connecting member. Displacement of a first end of the head element and displacement of a first end of the shoulder element can be independent of displacement of a second end of the head element and a second end of the shoulder element. The head element and the shoulder element may be encased within a fabric garment.

In another particular embodiment, the portable awning is adapted to be mounted to a chair via a bag that is also used to transport the portable awning. In other particular embodiment(s), the height and/or width of the portable awning frame are continuously adjustable. In still other embodiment(s), a seat engaging structure is adapted to mount the portable awning frame to a collapsible chair, wheel chair, etc.

Abstract: A collapsible flotation device is provided that uses a coilable spring coupled to a panel to collapse the device when the spring is coiled, and to expand the device when the spring is uncoiled configuration. The spring can be contained within a sleeve along the outer portion of the panel. A support member that traverses the panel is provided. An inflatable bladder disposed about a part of the outer portion of the panel and coupled to the support member buoyantly supports a body weight of a user. The combination of the inflatable bladder and the support member provide support for a user in a seated position on the panel. Many configurations are disclosed, including a multi-user collapsible flotation device, multiple connected single-user flotation devices, and so forth. A back support member and a headrest, both of which can be inflatable, provide additional support for a user to maintain a seated position on the panel. A foot support member is provided for the comfort of the user.

Abstract: A baby walker comprises sensors and control mechanisms to detect dangerous situations and to stop or substantially slow the baby walker. The baby walker uses proximity sensors, position sensors, presence sensors, and/or communication modules in order to assess the environment for the safety of the child. It also includes a controller that can apply a brake to the wheel assembly to stop or substantially slow the baby walker so as to protect the baby from entering dangerous regions or come in close proximity to objects. The baby walker may further receive and/or transmit information from an external device which may be operated by the child's guardian to define the borders of dangerous regions or a predefined travel distance.

Abstract: An apparatus which includes a trough for receiving a user's shoe. The trough includes a removal portal. The apparatus includes a vacuum capable of causing a shoe cover to be removed from the shoe of a user when a user places a shoe covered by a shoe cover into the trough. An actuator is triggered by the placement of an object in the trough, the triggering of the actuator causing the vacuum to activate. The vacuum activation causes the shoe cover to be sucked through the removal portal and into a primary chamber. The primary chamber collects the removed shoe covers and is disposed in a remote from the trough for preventing debris and other contaminants from being stored in a clean room. The apparatus may also include multiple troughs connected to one or more primary chambers.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a cordless covering for a sliding glass door or other large opening or window that can be arranged in at least three different configurations. In a second configuration, a portion of the covering may be draped over one of the pockets of the covering to change the length of the covering. In a third configuration, the covering can be pulled to one side of the sliding glass door such that the width of the covering is changed.

Abstract: A cactus cleaning tool comprising a handle and a cleaning section at one end of the handle for safely, quickly and easily cleaning a section of cactus. The cleaning section has a body member with a proximal end at the handle and a distal end outwardly disposed from the handle. The handle is angled upward relative to the body member. The tool has a scooping tip with an edge configured to allow the user to scoop out thorns. The tool has a slicing section with a slot defining a pair of longitudinally disposed sharpened cutting edges for removing the cactus skin. The top of the body member is open. The tool has a outwardly disposed tapper near its distal end to allow the user to tap the tool against a hard surface and dislodge cactus debris stuck on the tool. The tool is particularly useful for cleaning mission cactus.

Abstract: A piston-type extraction apparatus and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The apparatus includes a cylindrical container with lid and pour spout, a container insert, and plunger element including piston, rod, handle, and filtration chamber. The container insert is designed to catch coffee grounds or other infusible material which may be easily removed from the container when the container is empty or when the extract fluid remains in the container. The filtration chamber is adapted for use with a paper filter. The plunger element may temporarily couple with the insert to allow the insert to be pulled up through the container with the grounds of other infusible material captured between the insert and the plunger element allowing for quick and easy cleanup. The extraction apparatus is adapted for a use in a variety of sizes and may be adapted for manufactured at low cost.
