Each elongate tab comprises an attached portion by which the tab is permanently attached to at least one layer of the layered structure and a fastening portion with hooks provided for releasably engaging a landing zone on the absorbent article. At least the attached portion and the fastening portion of each tab are made of a predetermined material which is deformable by means of an energy source. The attached portion comprises a weld, and the weld of the attached portion and the hooks of the fastening portion are integrally formed deformations of said predetermined material. Method for manufacturing such article, wherein the weld and the hooks are formed simultaneously.

The control is carried out by force sensors that detect both an orientation of the applied forces and a magnitude of the applied forces. Translational and/or rotational movement is effectuated, depending upon the magnitude and direction of the forces, as well as the physical location of the applied force relative to a reference point on the support apparatus, such as the center. One or more object sensors may also be included in the support apparatus to assist in steering and/or navigating.

The TOF is indicative of an immersion depth or a distance toward bottoming out of a patient supported on the patient support surface, such as a mattress or a pad. The RADAR apparatus emits pulses of very short duration so as to be able to detect objects, such as a patient or a portion of a mattress or pad, at very close distances. The RADAR apparatus may use time-of-flight (TOF) between transmission of the pulse and receipt of a reflected signal to determine a distance toward bottoming out by the patient, thereby to determine if the patient is properly immersed into the patient support surface.

The composition in accordance with the invention makes it possible to obtain a clear foaming gel, which has a good level of viscosity and good cosmetic qualities, mainly good makeup-removing power and good foam properties (start, quality, quantity, stability and persistence), in particular when it is combined with a self-foaming device. The foam obtained has a good foam start, forms in large amount and is stable over time, which gives the composition a satisfactory application time (or play time).
