After compounding the methylmalonic acid with betaine, the LC50 was 2.85 and 0.27 for the Meloidogyne incognita and the Caenorhabditis elegans, respectively. Meanwhile, the methylmalonic acid also has an inhibiting effect on Pseudomonas solanacearum and Erwinia carotovora.
