  • Patent number: 10913320
Abstract: A Suspension Bearing Lubricating System, lubricating moving parts engaging with pivoting suspension component bearings used in street motorcycles, dirt bikes, all-terrain vehicles and various other machines. The Suspension Bearing Lubricating System comprises of a bolt hollowed internally and capped with a grease fitting (or form of lubrication receptacle) or a bolt which is hollow at both ends but solid in the center and a specialized bushing allowing for the flow of grease. Lubricant will be inserted via a lubricant receptacle; lubricant will travel into the bolt then out of holes in the shaft of the bolt which will allow passage of lubricant into bushing if applicable. Once lubricant reaches specialized bushing it will travel into integrated grooves to holes in the bushing then out, directly in contact with the suspension component bearings.

  • Patent number: 10913323
Abstract: A heater duct can be coupled to an instrument panel of a vehicle, and comprises a base, a nozzle, and a neck. The base is sealingly coupled to the instrument panel and includes an inlet opening to receive air from a heater. The nozzle includes an outlet opening and is fluidly connected to the base. The nozzle deflects the air through the outlet opening and toward a predetermined region of a windshield. The neck extends between and is sealingly coupled to the base and nozzle. The base, nozzle, and neck cooperate to at least partially define an interior volume. The heater duct is positioned in an orthogonal coordinate system comprising an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis. Air flowing from the inlet opening through the interior volume toward the outlet opening follows a path sequentially extending in substantially a negative z-direction, substantially a negative y-direction, and substantially a positive z-direction.

  • Patent number: 10913331
Abstract: A motor-driven vehicle includes an electric motor, a power storage device, a control device, and a refrigerant circuit. The refrigerant circuit has a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an outdoor heat exchanger. The indoor heat exchanger exchanges heat with the refrigerant compressed by the compressor. The refrigerant which passes through the indoor heat exchanger is decompressed by the expansion valve, and the outdoor heat exchanger exchanges heat with the decompressed refrigerant and allows the refrigerant to return to the compressor. When the remaining capacity of the power storage device is equal to or more than a predetermined value, the control device operates the compressor and decreases a passing-through air volume of a first air guide device that controls a passing-through air volume of the outdoor heat exchanger.

Abstract: A pantograph remote control circuit for an unmanned metro train includes a startup circuit of an auxiliary inverter emergency start relay, a control circuit of an auxiliary inverter energized relay, and a startup circuit of a pantograph raising relay. A first normally-open contact pair of the pantograph raising relay is serially connected to a pantograph raising electromagnetic valve and then connected to an output terminal of a battery. At the meantime, the bootstrap is remotely controlled by the internal ATC wake-up module when the power supply is fed by the battery, and there is no need for the driver to operate on the spot, thereby saving time for the driver from operations and reducing the potential misoperation of the driver.

Abstract: Systems and methods of autonomously driving a vehicle to one or more locations, or repositioning the vehicle, to achieve optimal solar exposure are provided. Operating conditions of the vehicle, environmental conditions, as well as road conditions may be considered when determining whether or not to move, relocate, or reposition the vehicle to achieve optimal solar exposure. The optimal solar exposure is that which allows a power storage device of the vehicle to be charged to a desired state of charge. Additional considerations, such as the time needed to travel to a new location(s) and return from the location(s) in time for a next use of the vehicle, may be taken into account. Any energy expenditures that may result from traveling to/from the new location(s) may also be considered.

Abstract: A vehicle includes an electric machine and a controller configured to inject a voltage into the electric machine. The controller measures the currents caused by the voltage and processes the currents using a discrete Fourier transform to determine positive and negative sequence currents. A phase rotation sequence is identified by comparing the sequence currents to expected positive and negative sequence currents that are associated with possible phase rotation sequences. The electric machine may be controlled according to the identified phase rotation sequence. A cable swapped diagnostic may be output when the phase rotation sequence is different than an expected phase rotation sequence.
