Abstract: An exercise device for targeted exercise of a lower back of a user includes a frame that can be positioned on a substantially horizontal surface. A plate is pivotally coupled to an apex of the frame to support a torso of a user in a selectable position relative to horizontal. Legs of the user extend over a front edge of the plate. A bar is hingedly coupled to the apex of the frame equally distant from opposing faces of the frame and is positioned to alternately swing toward the front edge and a rear edge of the plate when strapped to the legs of the user and with the user moving the legs in a pendulous motion. A resistance module is coupled to the bar distal from the plate and resists the swinging of the bar to exercise the lower back of the user.

Abstract: The present invention introduces a method for guiding an optimal stretching time to a user who has a wearable electronic device and a mobile communication device for measuring a set of measurement data comprising activity data of the user. The determination logic, implemented e.g. in a form of a server, takes age and gender into account, and determines a stretching index based on the activity of the user. The optimal stretching time may be alerted, with stretching guidance, to the user. Sleep can be taken into account as well. The system measures whether the actual stretching is done. Sleep is further analyzed, so the effect of the stretching can be monitored and this information can be given back to the user via the mobile communication device. Stretching guides can be updated as well. The wearable electronic device can be a ring device.

Abstract: There is provided a skill level determination and management system and method. The system includes a sensor for automatically sensing shot data of a golf shot hit by a golfer on a range area towards a target on the range area. A comparing component is provided for comparing an end location of the golf shot to a target location and grading the shot, taking into consideration at least a difference between the end location of the golf shot and the target location, and a skill level associated with the golfer. A skill level management component is provided for updating the skill level associated with the golfer based on the grade.

Abstract: A system for physical training of a body part comprises a tracker having a mounting structure configured to fasten the tracker at a particular body part of a user and a sensor unit configured to detect a movement of the body part. The system further comprises a model generation arrangement connectable to the tracker and configured to obtain first sensor data about a sequence of motion detected by the tracker and to generate an individual movement model based on the first sensor data. The system also comprises an analysis arrangement connectable to the tracker and configured to evaluate second sensor data about a current motion of the body part and to check compliance of the second sensor data with respect to the individual movement model.

A cover plate includes portions that surround the goal posts. Wheels may be attached to the bottom portions of the goal posts. A counter-weight may be provided to bias the goal frame towards the playing position.

The first end of the shuffleboard table extends from the wall and comprises a scoring area. The second end of the shuffleboard table comprises a playing area from where players throw pucks along a sliding surface towards the scoring area. Abstract: A training apparatus for baseball training includes a base and training attachments that may be attached to the base to allow a user to practice a variety of training techniques. The base may be modular so that it has an adjustable width and disassembles into separate components. At least one training attachment is designed to train a batter to properly incorporate thrust into a swinging motion when swinging a baseball bat. The attachment has a pivotally mounted member with a contact element attached to the top end of the member. The member pivots forward and downward when the user's knee contacts the contact element when properly executing a swinging motion. Thus, the training attachment provides direct and immediate feedback to the user regarding the user's batting form. Other training attachments may be used for hitting balls and for pitching to targets strategically placed around a strike zone.

The data collection module is provided with a Kinect v2 somatosensory device for monitoring athletes in real time, and collecting 3D coordinate data of 25 joint points of athletes' whole body. The movement feature extraction and recognition module is provided for establishing a standard template, and obtaining a similarity between the movement data and the standard template. The movement standard degree analysis and guidance module is provided for determining a category of the current movement of the user to be tested according to the similarity, and further analyzing whether the current movement of the user to be tested meets a standard according to a threshold range of the bone included angle set by a technology evaluation rule.

Abstract: A system that measures a swing of a bat with one or more sensors and analyzes sensor data to create swing quality metrics. Metrics may include for example rotational acceleration, on-plane efficiency, and body-bat connection. Rotational acceleration measures the centripetal acceleration of the bat along the bat's longitudinal axis at a point early in the rotational part of the swing; it is an indicator of the swing's power. On-plane efficiency measures how much of the bat's angular velocity occurs around the swing plane, the plane spanned by the bat and the bat's sweet spot velocity at impact. Body-bat connection measures the angle between the bat and the body tilt axis, which is estimated from the trajectory of the hand position on the bat through the swing; an ideal bat-body connection is near 90 degrees. These three swing quality metrics provide a simple and useful characterization of the swing mechanics.

Aspects of the present disclosure provide attachable intersection impact training tools, which can be attached to sport implements to enable the user to observe and practice intersectional impact. In an exemplary implementation, the training tool can include clips/clamp, which can be fixed with a sport implement, a stiff wire that can hold a ball at centre surface away of the sport implement. The training tool can be attached with sport implement so as to enable a player to practice a particular punching action/technique for multiple sports, for example, forward and backward intersectional movement or forward and forward inline movement, or side movement. Abstract: Golf gloves having a modified construction for ease of manufacture and improved flexibility, comfort and fit are provided. In one preferred embodiment, the glove contains seamless gussets provided between finger stalls. Preferably, the seamless gussets are made using a single piece of material sewn between the finger stalls of the glove. Additionally, the golf glove construction may include a palm piece that forms the palm of the golf glove, including the palm side of the finger stalls and also wraps around the finger stall for the index finger of the golfer to for the back of the index finger stall too. The golf glove construction may also feature a back piece that covers the back of the hand except for the finger stall for the index finger.

Abstract: Controlling the display of a computer device to deliver functions of a new type of clicker game, in which a player can control the location at which a booster is created on a game board. This provides a player with many more strategic options over game play because the clearing effects of a booster can be targeted more effectively. A game element which a player selects (clicks) to remove a group of adjacent matching game elements is identified and its location on the game board is ‘reserved’. When the game board refills, the ‘reserved’ location is not refilled, but remains as a ‘soft void’ in which a booster object can be created after refill has taken place. At that point the booster may be activated (automatically or by user interaction).
