In one aspect, a process for constructing a visual-haptic model is disclosed. This process can begin by receiving a set of training videos. The process then processes each training video in the set of training videos to extract one or more video segments that depict a target tool-tissue interaction from the training video, wherein the target tool-tissue interaction involves exerting a force by one or more surgical tools on a tissue. Next, for each video segment in the set of video segments, the process annotates each video image in the video segment with a set of force levels predefined for the target tool-tissue interaction. Abstract: Disclosed is a dental implant distractor, comprising an implant module and a traction module. The implant module comprises an implant, a sealing screw, and a base body. The traction module comprises a connecting screw rod, a traction screw rod, an inner sleeve, and an outer sleeve; the connecting screw rod is threadedly connected to the base body; the traction screw rod is located below the connecting screw rod; the inner sleeve is provided below the base body. This apparatus can automatically complete the installation of the base body and the sealing of the connecting screw rod after traction is completed; since the installation of the base body and the sealing do not need to be performed again, operation steps are simplified, the clinical operation difficulty is reduced, and the problem of slippage of an upper bone section to the original position is avoided.

Abstract: A chassis of an oral cleansing device is provided. The oral cleansing device may include a first chassis half including a first threaded portion, a second chassis half including a second threaded portion, and a nut threaded onto the first threaded portion and the second threaded portion to at least partially secure the first chassis half to the second chassis half. The threaded portions may be defined on respective ends of the first chassis half and the second chassis half. The nut may engage chamfered edges of the first chassis half and the second chassis half. Engagement of the nut with the first chamfered edge and the second chamfered edge may produce a radial compressive force on the chassis halves. The first chassis half and the second chassis half may at least partially define a chassis that is positioned within a handle of the oral cleansing device.

The platform, the first length-adjustable skirt, and the second length-adjustable skirt enclose a holding area for securely holding an animal during necessary surgical procedures. The first skirt-positioning mechanism positions the first length-adjustable skirt by adjusting a first angle and a first offset-distance from the platform's central axis. The second skirt-positioning mechanism positions the second length-adjustable skirt by adjusting a second angle and a second offset distance from the platform's central axis, thereby changing the effective volume enclosed by the holding area. The surgical-table adapter allows the present invention to selectively fasten onto a conventional veterinary surgical table.

Abstract: A method of placing a ligament graft in a surgical procedure is described. A surgical system receives kinematic information related to a range of motion of a knee joint and registers one or more surfaces of a bony anatomy of the knee joint. The surgical system further generates a three-dimensional model of the knee joint. The surgical system determines a surgical plan including parameters of a graft tunnel based on the kinematic information and the three-dimensional model. A graft tunnel planning system is also described. A plurality of tracking markers are affixed to the patient's bones and a tracking unit captures their location through a range of motion of the patient's knee joint. A point probe captures the geometry of a bony surface of the patient. A computing module receives the location data and geometry data, and determines a surgical plan including parameters of a graft tunnel.
