The NTP curing lamp conveniently provides plasma pretreatment and curing of the energy cured nail coating using the same apparatus. Plasma pretreatment of the nail surface prior to application of the energy cured nail coating provides better adhesion of the energy cured nail coating to the nail surface than is achieved without the pretreatment.
