Abstract: A method for adjusting operating parameters of an agricultural implement during a product-dispensing operation may include monitoring a location of the agricultural implement while performing a product-dispensing pass across a field. The method may further include determining that the agricultural implement will encounter an operating parameter boundary prescribing a change in an operating parameter of the agricultural implement. Moreover, the method may include determining a transition boundary along the product-dispensing pass based at least in part on a propagation delay for the prescribed change, where the agricultural implement will cross the transition boundary before the operating parameter boundary. Additionally, the method may include initiating the change in the operating parameter when the agricultural implement reaches the transition boundary such that the prescribed change in the operating parameter is complete when the agricultural implement reaches the operating parameter boundary.

Abstract: A device to distribute solids such as seeds, fertilizers, salts, or other granular materials through a machine for agricultural use or other similar uses, of the type that uses horizontal rotating plates or discs with spreader pallets, wherein access of the material to be distributed to the spreader pallets is tangential thereto, by use of a channeller downloaded in the central area of the disc. The device does not break the particles to be spread and, thereby, they maintain their original mass, which let us affirm that the working area is extended and the uniformity of the distribution is improved. Additionally, the tangential access of the material from the center of the rotating plate or disc, and with the same course of the pallets, gives an additional speed to the particles that allows to further increase the working area.

Abstract: This invention describes a new method to increase grain yields in any crop plant by modifying pollination to effect an increase in grain yield, a change in grain content or characteristics, a decrease in contamination, or a combination of these attributes. The process involves the intentional delivery of pollen of the male plant at will to designated male-sterile female plants as available either in a preserved pollen bank, or real-time collection from male plants as they become available, in a growth chamber for example. Desired pollen is delivered to fertile females. The delivered pollenM is in such amounts and fortuitously timed that it preferentially pollinates the females and pollination from neighboring male-fertile plants. The intentional delivery of genetically different pollen will result in increased heterosis and accompanying grain yield increases resulting from increased grain size and the potential to influence grain content and constituents.
