  • Patent number: 11234458
Abstract: A rolling paper is formed according to a modified conventional paper-making process. The end product is infused with cannabinoids from an oil extract from the cannabis plant. Since paper-making is highly water intensive and the cannabinoid containing cannabis extract is an oil that is ordinarily immiscible in the water, an emulsifier is used to allow the cannabinoids to evenly disperse in the making of the paper. The addition of the cannabinoids and the emulsifier is done prior to the drying of the paper. Preferably, the emulsifier and cannabinoids are added during the sizing step of the paper-making. Preferably the emulsifier is a starch-like carbohydrate, a modified starch, more preferably hydroxy-propyl-methyl-cellulose. The cannabinoid containing cannabis extract can be added at the pulping, web-forming step and/or preferably at the sizing step of paper-making.

  • Patent number: 11234468
Abstract: Designing garments that include brassiere cups can be challenging due to the natural fluctuation of a woman's breast size, as well as a possible disconnect between the size of her breasts and the size of the rest of her body. The high range of size variability places pressure on stores to stock inventories that include great ranges of sizes. This places an inventory risk to the store, since rarer sizes may never sell. The disclosed garment addresses these issues by including a fit-adjustable brassiere portion. The cups of the fit-adjustable brassiere portion include fit-modifying panels that increase their flexibility and elasticity. The rear side of the fit-adjustable brassiere portion includes a back adjuster with highly elastic regions that enables the brassiere portion to fit a broader range of chest sizes. Each of these features give the garment a more universal fit and enable stores to carry fewer sizes.

  • Patent number: 11234476
Abstract: A protective helmet has a jet helmet part and a chin part which are releasably connected to each other by a coupling part. The chin part and the jet helmet part can be swiveled relative to each other by a swiveling mechanism between an integral helmet position and a jet helmet position. The coupling part includes a coupling element on the chin part and a second coupling element on the jet helmet part, which coupling elements engage to form a mutually releasable form-fit coupling. The swiveling mechanism actuates a locking mechanism where the locking mechanism includes a blocking slider and is designed such that, in the integral helmet position, the blocking slider blocks the first coupling element such that a decoupling of the coupling elements is prevented, and in the jet helmet position, the blocking of the first coupling element is released thereby enabling the coupling elements to be decoupled.

  • Patent number: 11234479
Abstract: A footwear device is provided having a deformable heel contact member. The heel contact member extends above a top portion of the footwear's sole and deforms into a cavity formed in the sole when the user's heel applies a force against the heel contact member. The heel contact member is resilient and returns to its original shape when the force against the heel contact member is eliminated. The heel contact member is particularly well suited to reduce heel slap of open heeled footwear.

  • Patent number: 11234482
Abstract: Embodiments of footwear, in particular, a shoe, sandal or boot, may reduce the effort and improve the performance of walking, running, hiking, as well as jumping, hopping, and other motion involving the ankle, lower leg and Achilles tendon, through integration of force-carrying mechanisms within footwear that manage the forces and energy associated with such motion by productively harvesting and storing energy during dorsiflexion motion and releasing and returning energy during plantar flexion and limiting range of motion that conduce towards ankle inversion and eversion. Such footwear may comprise a yoke connected to footwear at a pivot region in parallel to the axis of rotation of the ankle and a tension spring region suspended between the yoke and the heel counter.

  • Patent number: 11234483
Abstract: An item of footwear such as a boot (10) includes a stiff lower part (12) that extends around part of a wearer's foot, a stiff upper part (16) that extends around the wearer's lower leg, and one or more limit elements (66,72,80,88) that extend between the lower part (12) and the upper part (16). The lower part (12) and upper part (16) are movable relative to each other when the ankle moves and the relative movement is inhibited selectively by the limit elements (66,72,80,88). The limit elements (66,72,80,88) are displaceable between a free condition in which the lower part (12) and the upper part (16) are movable relative to each other, and lock condition in which the relative movement between the lower part (12) and the upper part (16) is inhibited.

  • Patent number: 11234486
Abstract: A method for inflating a chamber in an article composed at least partially of polymer layers, such as thermoplastic layers. The method can allow for forming an aperture in a polymer layer, inflating a chamber or volume in fluid communication with the aperture, and then welding or sealing the chamber so that the inflation fluid is substantially retained in the chamber and/or does not escape via the aperture. In various aspects, the formation of the aperture, inflation of the chamber, and sealing of the chamber or aperture can be performed by a single tool and/or based on a single registration of the thermoplastic article with a tool. In some aspects, formation of the aperture is enabled in part by using a punch with a cupped surface that allows the top layer of a thermoplastic article to be breached without forming a hole in at least one lower layer.
