The apparatus further includes a screw feeder positioned within the heating chamber that rotates and moves the ground herb within the heating chamber. The completed structure is then sewn to the wrong side of the garment's waist line creating a discrete compression feature that alters the body's measurements.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a hood and outerwear garments with single attachment points for children wearing coats in car safety seats are disclosed. In some embodiments, the outerwear garment is comprised of a winter bonnet having an insulated lining and a single attachment point at the upper anterior portion of a coat. In some embodiments, the single anterior attachment prevents the hood from being inadvertently lodged behind a child—potentially limiting the safety seat's ability to secure the child. An object of some embodiments is to prevent a hood from interfering with car safety seat restraint systems.

In an embodiment, the article of apparel includes a base textile with a thermal regulation membrane. The thermal regulation membrane contains a plurality of system-reactive components selectively engaged heat and/or moisture. In an embodiment, the printed coating includes a cooling agent, a phase change material, and a heat dissipation material. In operation, the article of apparel is effective to delay/diminish the rise in skin temperature (compared to a garment lacking the membrane), increasing wearer comfort.

Abstract: A body impact protection system includes an inner layer and an impact force dampening and defusing structure. The inner layer includes a material composition and is adjacent to a body part when the body impact protection system is worn. The impact force dampening and defusing structure is juxtaposed to the inner layer and includes a plurality of components. The components function to reduce pressure on the body part from an impact force on a layer by layer basis. Each layer of the system dampens and defuses the impact force such that, by the time it reaches the body part, it has been substantially attenuated and spread over a large area.

Abstract: A protective adhesive finger strip booklet apparatus for sanitary device operation includes a booklet backing and a plurality of rectangular finger strips coupled to the booklet backing. Each finger strip has a main portion and a tab portion. An adhesive layer is continuously coupled to a main first side of the main portion and a tab second side of the tab portion. The adhesive layer allows a tab second side to adhere to a main second side of the main portion until peeled back by a user for use. Each finger strip is prepared for use by separating the tab portion from the main portion, securing a tab first side of the tab portion to separate the main portion from the booklet, placing the user's fingertip to the main first side of the main portion, and wrapping the main first side of the main portion around the user's finger.

Abstract: An aftermarket device for attachment to a facial mask includes a support layer and an adhesive segment. The support layer is sized to fold over and under a central portion of an upper edge of the facial mask and to extend laterally from centrally along the upper edge of the mask. The adhesive segment is connected to the support layer configured to connect to the facial mask. The device supports the facial mask during wear to conform the upper edge of the mask to a wearer's face along the nose and the cheeks under the eyes. The device extends the facial mask along bridge of the wearer's nose. The device may assist in comfort of mask wear, avoidance of irritation of the mask against skin, and limit frequent hand adjustment of the mask during wear.
