The optic lens is carried by the support body over a user's face configured to protect a user. The elongate heater is carried by the optic lens so as to traverse an expansive surface area of the optic lens. The elongate heater has an elongate resistive heating element and an outer thermally transmissive, peak temperature mitigating, and an electrically insulative cover material encompassing the resistive heating element. A method is also provided.

Abstract: Aspects herein provide methods of transforming a stowable article of apparel for an upper torso of a wearer. The article of apparel comprises a first tensioning mechanism superior to and parallel with a waist opening, and a second tensioning mechanism coincident with the waist opening and spaced apart from the first tensioning mechanism. An upper half of the article of apparel is doffed. The waist opening is folded upward toward the first tensioning mechanism forming a pouch between the first and second tensioning mechanisms where the upper half of the article of apparel is stowed. The second tensioning mechanism is tensioned, thereby stowing the article of apparel in the pouch around the wearer.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a holder for a glove that includes a support arm and a catch arm. The support arm has first and second portions spaced apart along a longitudinal axis and an inner face that faces in a first direction along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The catch arm has a first end portion connected to the first end portion of the support arm and a free second end portion spaced apart from the first end portion of the catch arm along the longitudinal axis. An elastic part surrounds the wrist, with anti-slip properties on the side next to the skin for better hold. A part covers the entire back of the hand with stretchable material adapted to the temperature, double-fibre material allowing moisture to be transferred outwards and then absorbed. Elastic is provided at the base of the palm (opening side), allowing the hand to close more easily around the handle. The glove is intended, in particular, for any person needing to cover only the back of the hand.

Such shape description includes geometric information from which measurement information can optionally be derived. Included herein are methods for diagnosing and monitoring edema and other conditions in patients using shape descriptions acquired from a patient in need of such diagnosis and monitoring. The invention also includes use of the generated shape descriptions to make compression garments specifically configured for a patient's body part or body area. Compression garments generated from the generated shape descriptions are also included herein.

The faceplate is coated with a photochromic material for causing the lightening and darkening of the faceplate dependent upon the ambient light. A pair of lights are mounted on the front and rear of the helmet for safety. A pair of audio headphones, a microphone, and a transceiver are mounted within the helmet for communication with a cellular telephone. A battery provides power for powering the fan heating elements, the wiper, and the lights.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a footwear apparatus includes placing footwear upper material onto a bottom portion of a midsole mold. The upper material includes a first portion residing within a cavity in the bottom portion of the midsole mold and a second portion extending beyond boundaries of the cavity in the bottom portion of the midsole mold. The method further includes closing a second portion of the midsole mold onto the bottom portion of the midsole mold, injecting midsole mold material into the closed first and second portions of the midsole mold, where the midsole material is fused with the first portion of the upper material, and forming the second portion of the upper material into at least a portion of an upper of the footwear apparatus. The midsole material is attached to the first portion of the upper material without stitching or gluing.
