Abstract: A tractor includes: a work machine connected to a vehicle body; an elevator mechanism configured to move the work machine up and down; an electric motor; a battery; an electric leakage detection circuit configured to detect electric leakage in the battery; and a control device. The control device controls the elevator mechanism either in a lowered state or a raised state, the lowered state being a state where the work machine is placed at a position making contact with a ground, the raised state being a state where the work machine is placed at a position distanced from the ground. In a case where the electric leakage detection circuit detects electric leakage in the battery at the time when the elevator mechanism is in the lowered state, the control device performs a state change process of bringing the elevator mechanism into the raised state.

Abstract: A manure scraping assembly includes a scraper that has a first portion forming an angle with a second portion. The scraper is positionable in a pushing position to push manure on the support surface. Conversely, the scraper is positionable in a pulling position to pull manure on the support surface. A handle is removably attached to the scraper and the handle can be gripped by a user thereby facilitating the scraper to be pushed or pulled. The handle angles upwardly at a substantially diagonal axis with respect to the first portion of the scraper when the scraper is positioned in the pushing position. Moreover, the handle angles upwardly at a substantially diagonal axis with respect to the second portion of the scraper when the scraper is positioned in the pulling position.

Abstract: A feed timer and control system and method are disclosed. In practice, a feed and control system might include a memory that maintains a feeding schedule, which may include a first feed setting with a start time that is related to a sunrise time for a given location and a feeding duration time. The system may also include a switch that is configured to close a connection between a power source and a motor at the start time. In practice, the switch may remain closed for an amount of time that is the same or nearly the same as the feeding duration time. The memory and the switch may be located within an enclose at least partially defined by a housing component of the system. In operation, the switch may be electrically connected to the motor and the power source even though the motor and the power source may be located outside the enclosure at least partially defined by the housing component.

A malleable inner and outer shell construction makes the ball simple yet less prone to damage as it allows the squeaker insert to move to a degree in response to pressure of a bite. The squeaker cannot be dislodged from int's insert. The outer shell of a wooly fabric covers the exit portion of the squeaker yet allows sound and air to travel though the ball.

Abstract: An artificial and/or simulated environment is used to raise a domestic or commercially raised animal to promote a positive health feedback and to minimize stress on the animal. The simulated environment is used to create the façade of a free range or cage free environment, while also minimizing the exposure to inclement weather, potential predators, and other unknown or stress-inducing situations. The results include animals that have higher resistance to diseases and have a lower stress. The artificial environment can be created by projecting or otherwise showing images and/or videos depicting simulation of environments, climate, and/or other unknown situations to normalize the animals to the same.

More specifically, the inventors has shown that a model mouse which is deficient of kidney, pancreas, thymus or hair due to the dysfunction of the metanephric mesenchyme that is differentiated into most of an adult kidney, is rescued by blastocyst complementation by the chimeric animal assay, and whereby a kidney, a pancreas, thymus or hair can be newly produced.
