In some embodiments, the target element may be hingedly connected at its base to a weighted base element, which in some embodiments provides the counter-force to the impact created by the tennis ball. In some embodiments, different weighted bases may be provided or associated with the present invention.

Abstract: A method for estimating a wait time associated with a queue serviced by active service points. The method comprises obtaining sensor data relating to the queue; from which a plurality of waiting entities occupying respective positions in the queue is identified, each waiting entity associated with a respective number of individuals; receiving a request to compute an estimated wait time (EWT) for a given one of the individuals; computing the estimated wait time for the given individual; and causing a message comprising the EWT to be made accessible to a communication device associated with the given individual. The EWT is computed based on: (i) a distribution, in terms of the number of individuals per waiting entity, of the waiting entities occupying respective positions in the queue ahead of the given individual; (ii) nominal wait times associated with respective numbers of individuals; and (iii) the number of active service points.

The first, the third and the fourth winding wires form a primary coil, and the second winding wire is a secondary coil.

The reduction device has first and second reduction stages and includes a sun gear, centered on the axis and driven by the drive shaft, a ring gear that is coaxial with the sun gear and that drives the fan shaft about the axis, and planet gears distributed circumferentially about the axis between the sun gear and the ring gear. Each planet gear includes a first portion meshed with the sun gear and a second portion meshed with the ring gear. A diameter of the first portion is different from a diameter of the second portion, and the first portion of the planet gears extend between the second portion of the planet gears and the fan.

Abstract: Described herein are devices and methods for continuous real time monitoring of kidney function. In various embodiments, a urine analysis device collects sensor data describing one or more properties of urine. The urine analysis device may be integrated with a catheter system to continuously generate sensor data in real time as the urine is collected by the catheter system. Sensor data collected by the urine analysis device may be analyzed by physicians to detect changes in a patients kidney function. If necessary, based on the sensor data, physicians may perform an intervention to improve a patients kidney function.

Abstract: A foldable sealing container is provided with cuts, creases, adhesion of some elements, and a planar collapsed position to permit rapid reconfiguration to an expanded position. A plurality of catching mechanisms comprises friction tabs partially folded along friction tab creases to engage friction tab edges with side panels and hold the bottom side panels substantially perpendicular relative to the bottom panel. The plurality of catching mechanisms holds bottom side panels in a substantially upright position to form leak-proof seals at the lower corners. Engagement of the friction tab catching mechanisms provides enhanced leak resistance, improving storage and transportation of liquids and liquid-containing foods.

Users' interaction data corresponding to a plurality of users of a digital platform related to streaming content is received. A set of users from the plurality of users is determined based on the users' interaction data. The set of users is determined based on the presence of at least one of an outlier event and an anomaly in their respective user interaction data. For each user of the set of users, a user breach profile for a user is generated; a fraud event is determined by applying at least one rule on the user breach profile; at least one action is triggered in response to a determination of the fraud event; and a risk score is determined for the user based on the user breach profile to monitor user interaction data of the user.

Upon verifying the temporally changing information, the reader device obtains the price of the evaluated device, based on the unique identifier associated with the evaluated device.

Abstract: A method for identifying objects by shape in close proximity to other objects of different shapes obtains point cloud information of multiple objects. The objects are arranged in at least two trays and the trays are stacked. A depth image of the objects is obtained according to the point cloud information, and the depth image of the objects is separated and layered to obtain a layer information of all the objects. An object identification system also disclosed. Three-dimensional machine vision is utilized in identifying the objects, improving the accuracy of object identification, and enabling the mechanical arm to accurately grasp the required object.

Abstract: In example embodiments, techniques are provided for calculating camera rotation using translations between sensor-derived camera positions (e.g., from GPS) and pairwise information, producing a sensor-derived camera pose that may be integrated in an early stage of SfM reconstruction. A software process of a photogrammetry application may obtain metadata including sensor-derived camera positions for a plurality of cameras for a set of images and determine optical centers based thereupon. The software process may estimate unit vectors along epipoles from a given camera of the plurality of cameras to two or more other cameras. The software process then may determine a camera rotation that best maps unit vectors defined based on differences in the optical centers to the unit vectors along the epipoles. The determined camera rotation and the sensor-derived camera position form a sensor-derived camera pose that may be returned and used.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an entity relation mining method based on a biomedical literature, including the following steps: querying a disease-associated biomedical literature in a public database, and performing data preprocessing to obtain biomedical text data; performing biomedical named entity recognition on obtained biomedical text data in combination with a regex matching pattern and a deep learning model; and mining an entity relation with transfer learning and reinforcement learning based on an entity recognition result. By acquiring the disease-associated biomedical literature from a network, extracting an abstract and a title and performing entity recognition and relation mining, the present disclosure can effectively recognize biomedical noun entities in the literature and mine potential relations between various entities.
