Retrieved batch end time predictive models are assembled into an aggregate batch end time predictive model to increase accuracy and stability of an end time prediction of the batch of jobs. The aggregate batch end time predictive model is utilized to predict an end time of the batch of jobs during running of the batch of jobs to form a predicted end time of the batch of jobs.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to electronic devices, and more particularly to estimating a damage risk level for an electronic device. A method disclosed herein includes measuring motion parameters of the electronic device, on the electronic device being dropped on a surface. The method further includes classifying the surface into at least one type by processing the measured motion parameters using a classifier module. The method further includes estimating a damage risk score depicting the damage risk level for the electronic device based on the classified surface, the measured motion parameters of the electronic device, and a usage history of the electronic device.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to resolving conflicts between full-duplex signals are provided. A base station may schedule resources for a UE or plurality of UEs. The scheduled resources may include simultaneous uplink and downlink resources. The scheduled resources may utilize beams which if used would cause excessive interference. As such, a conflict resolution action may be performed by the BS and UE to mitigate any problems arising from using both incompatible beams simultaneously. Conflict resolution actions may include dropping one of the signals. Conflict resolution actions may include and changing one or both beam configurations for the signals. Conflict resolution actions may be based on predetermined rules or may be based on an indication from the base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for signaling and switching of beam pair links (BPLs) for directional transmission beams between a base station and a user equipment (UE). A threshold value may be determined, which corresponds to an amount of time for a UE to receive and decode control information, and apply a different BPL than a current BPL that that is in use. The UE may maintain a BPL for data, which is used during data transmission time intervals (TTIs) until an indication is received to change the BPL for data. The UE and the base station may determine to change between BPLs based at least in part on the threshold value and a scheduling offset between a control channel transmission that allocates resources for a data TTI and a start of the data TTI.

Abstract: A blocking material is selectively deposited on a bottom surface of a back end of line (BEOL) conductive structure such that a barrier layer is selectively deposited on sidewalls of the BEOL conductive structure but not the bottom surface. The blocking material is etched such that copper from a conductive structure underneath is exposed, and a ruthenium layer is deposited on the barrier layer but less ruthenium is deposited on the exposed copper. Accordingly, the barrier layer prevents diffusion of metal ions from the BEOL conductive structure and is substantially absent from the bottom surface as compared to the sidewalls in order to reduce contact resistance. Additionally, the ruthenium layer reduces surface roughness within the BEOL conductive structure and is thinner at the bottom surface as compared to the sidewalls in order to reduce contact resistance.

The laser beam removes the material from the first position, then is moved to a second position on the surface of the workpiece and removes material from the second position. Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage mediums described herein are directed to determining and recommending an optimal compute resource configuration for a cloud-based resource (e.g., a server, a virtual machine, etc.) for migrating a customer to the cloud. The embodiments described herein utilize a statistically robust approach that makes recommendations that are more flexible (elastic) and account for the full distribution of the amount of resource usage. Such an approach is utilized to develop a personalized rank of relevant recommendations to a customer. To determine which compute resource configuration to recommend to the customer, the customer’s usage profile is matched to a set of customers that have already migrated to the cloud. The compute resource configuration that reaches the performance most similar to the performance of the configurations utilized by customers in the matched set is recommended to the user.

An example method includes receiving messages corresponding to a plurality of events, identifying, for a first event of the plurality of events, one or more changed tables, assigning an event type to the first event based at least in part on the one or more changed tables, and publishing the first event on an event streaming platform.

Abstract: Techniques are discussed herein for generating three-dimensional (3D) representations of an environment based on two-dimensional (2D) image data, and using the 3D representations to perform 3D object detection and other 3D analyses of the environment. 2D image data may be received, along with depth estimation data associated with the 2D image data. Using the 2D image data and associated depth data, an image-based object detector may generate 3D representations, including point clouds and/or 3D pixel grids, for the 2D image or particular regions of interest. In some examples, a 3D point cloud may be generated by projecting pixels from the 2D image into 3D space followed by a trained 3D convolutional neural network (CNN) performing object detection. Additionally or alternatively, a top-down view of a 3D pixel grid representation may be used to perform object detection using 2D convolutions.
