Based at least in part on a first result of the significance-level evaluation, the first message is deleted and the modification to the first message is maintained. Based at least in part on a second result of the significance-level evaluation, the first message is maintained; the modification to the first message is stored in a database; and the first message is associated with the modification to the first message in the database.

Abstract: A system that allows owners of Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to access an NFT via a physical item. The physical item may include authenticating information that enables the system to verify ownership of an NFT that is maintained in a remote database, such as a blockchain ledger. The item thus enables the owner to quickly and securely access the digital asset associated with the NFT via a reader, such as a smart phone or other computing device. The system provides a method for binding an NFT to the physical item, and a corresponding method for accessing the NFT and the related digital asset later using the physical item.

A cell counting result, a sum of areas of unoccupied background regions, and a sum of area of cell-occupied regions are obtained based on the image. A specified cell collection range is obtained based on expected culturing time. A collection promoting instruction is generated when the cell counting result is in the specified cell collection range or when the sum of areas of unoccupied background regions is less than the specified cell collection area threshold value. A system applying the method is also provided.

With this method, an exact copy, nearly exact copy, or some facsimile of a message (or associated information), which was transmitted via a low latency, low bandwidth wireless communication channel, is also sent via a backend communication channel such as a fiber optic network. Equalization is generally performed by comparing the originally received message to the copy sent via the backend channel. The original message can incorporate an added channel delay to compensate for the time delay between the primary wireless channel and the backend channel.

Also provided are quantum computing systems incorporating the gate-controlled quantum dots. The quantum dots are formed in a semiconductor heterostructure in which a SiGe alloy quantum well is sandwiched between SiGe alloy barriers or between Ge barriers. The presence of germanium in the quantum dots increases the average valley splitting for quantum dots confined in the SiGe. As a result, the yield of quantum dots having a sufficiently high valley splitting for device applications is increased by the use of a SiGe alloy in the quantum well.
