Abstract: Some aspects of the present disclosure are directed to computerized methods for extracting attributes from product titles. Abstract: Certain example embodiments described herein relate to systems and/or methods for presenting user-interactive, dynamically-generated contextual content for individual articles of clothing. A QR or other code is provided to the article of clothing. The QR or other code is scannable by an electronic device, causing the electronic device to access a webpage or the like. The webpage (or similar information display) includes information typically found on a tag or label, together with additional dynamically-generated and organized content relevant to the article and/or person for whom the article was made. The techniques described herein are usable in connection with mass-produced, small batch/boutique items, as well as custom articles of clothing. Thus, it becomes possible to quickly and easily convey a broad scope of information about an article of clothing directly from that article of clothing, without having to include large and potentially irritating tags or labels.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating recommendations are disclosed. In some examples, from a set of positive reviews associated with a merchant offering, at least one attribute is identified and associated with the set of positive reviews, based on reviewer profiles associated with each respective positive review. The attribute is associated with the merchant offering. A match is determined between a customer attribute in a first customer profile and the at least one attribute. A set of recommendations is generated to be presented, via a customer electronic device, to a customer associated with the first customer profile, the set of recommendations including the merchant offering associated with at least one attribute.

Abstract: Systems and methods for predictive gift subscriptions are provided. A gift subscription service may store a gift subscription and a profile associated with a gift recipient. The gift subscription service may then identify a time to send a gift to the gift recipient and associate a computational model with the gift recipient and the profile. When the gift subscription service determines a change in the profile, the gift subscription service may then update the computational model associated with the gift recipient in real-time by applying a machine learning algorithm to the change in the profile and use the updated computation model to formulate a prediction for the gift recipient that may then be used to identify a set of gifts to present to the gift recipient. The gift subscription service may then present the set of gifts to the gift recipient.

Abstract: A system may include a platform for an application to support processing flows for a service provider, such as ordering, sales, support, service delivery, and related process flows. The system may provide a limited set of application programming interfaces (APIs) that map to an application's user-experience page flows. The APIs may always appear to the application that the interaction process completed successfully—even if human intervention is required—to allow the application to complete the transaction. The system may have the ability to recognize the same user, and leverage that user's behavior across interactions with multiple sales channels. The system may thus provide, in one aspect, an enhanced user experience for ordering and maintaining complex service and equipment offerings.

Abstract: An electronic marketplace provides a communication platform between consumer and sellers. Consumers create product wish lists and the wish lists are used as the basis for product advertising from the sellers. In addition, a consumer may invite friends to view the wish list and purchase particular products that are added to the wish list. Because wish lists are used as the basis for advertising, consumers can manage the types of product advertising that they see. Consumers have the ability to turn off individual product advertisements by removing that product from the wish list. Sellers utilize reverse bidding to compete for advertising space with each consumer and friend. One particularly advantageous feature of the embodiment is that wish lists serve as nameless and untraceable proxies for each member by keeping personal information removed from the sellers.

Abstract: Systems and related methods providing for online ordering of menu items from a merchant are discussed herein. Circuitry may be configured to generate an online menu based on menu information stored in a menu database. The menu information may be also configured to facilitate point-of-sale functionality at the merchant, such as by a point-of-sale device. The online menu may be provided to a consumer device. An online order may be received from the consumer device. The circuitry may be configured to process the online order, such as by facilitating a reservation, order preparation, and payment.

Abstract: Described is a system and method for developing and dynamically updating user paths through a materials handling facility. A user path through a materials handling facility may be developed that will route a user past one or more items (e.g., pick list items, recommended items, wish list items, promotional items) planned for the user. If the user does not follow the user path, the user path may be dynamically updated to account for the current location of the user and/or to consider other actions performed by the user.

An account switch management system may include one or more memory devices storing software instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to receive a list of transaction entries to be switched from a first account to a second account and account information associated with the first account and the second account. The one or more processors may also determine a recommendation relating to a customer action based on the transaction entries and the account information. The one or more processors may provide the list of transaction entries and account information and the recommendation to the client device. Abstract: An unpriced order auction and related market center and process are disclosed which allow posting market centers (e.g., exchanges) to schedule an auction that includes unpriced (Market) orders only. Such unpriced order auction executes at the midpoint of the NBBO, ensuring that the cross reflects the best prices in the entire marketplace, while discouraging the manipulation of the auction price on the posting market center. The disclosed auction also executes concurrently, but separately from the regular continuous matching process.

Abstract: A tracking liquidity order and related market center and process are disclosed which allow posting market centers (e.g. exchanges) to fill routable, smaller orders that would have otherwise routed off the posting market center. Such tracking liquidity orders increase the liquidity of that posting market center and allow it to execute more orders internally, without having to route them to an away market center.

Abstract: Certain example embodiments provide systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for a resilience measurement system. For example, the resilience measurement system may receive data from multiple sources, and may measure resiliency based on this data, such as the ability of a population or geographic area (e.g., a country) to withstand emerging threats, including but not limited to, posed by climate and environment, health, globalization, and human development. The resilience measurement system may calculate one or more scores indicating risk, need for program adjustment, or need for policy change and investment, depending on the client the project. To perform such operations, the resilience measurement system may process index scores for different categories of threats to average the index scores for different categories of threats with different weights. The final scores may be used by the resilience measurement system for additional analysis, to perform actions, and/or the like.

Abstract: Methods and system are described for optimizing data processing in cloud-based, machine learning environments. For example, through the use of a machine learning model utilizing a self organizing map and/or the use of specific processing nodes in a computer system to perform specific tasks the methods and system may more efficiently distribute tasks through a cloud computing environment and increase overall processing speeds despite increasing amounts of data. The methods and system described herein are particularly related to collateral allocation computer systems that automate the management of numerous collateral assets. For example, as the amount of collateral assets and the complexity of given transactions grow, typical allocation systems face frequent processing delays related to collateral allocations (e.g., allocations of collateral associated with Tri-Party Repos).

Based on this information, the event determiner may provide a high percentage estimate of an abnormal condition: home break-in, car accident, flat tire, etc. The system may automatically take action, depending on the event, such as contacting the police, sending a tow truck, or starting an insurance claim.

Abstract: Methods, systems, processes and others are provided for digital administration of gaming units including, for example, receiving a real-time request for gaming units; determining that the gaming unit administration application executing on the mobile device is located at the particular gaming location of the gaming establishment; determining that the real-time request for gaming units does not exceed the gaming unit limit of the account pre-approved by the gaming establishment; identifying a gamer distribution module associated with the particular gaming location for the current gaming activity associated with the request; and providing an authorization to distribute to the gamer associated with the request one or more requested gaming units.
