The device may be used in a method for controlling the access of pests/vermin to a geographical location, building or property wherein the electrically conducting wire(s) lead(s) an electrical current with an amperage of not less than 0.0001 A. The device and method may be particularly suited for removing/controlling pests/vermin on land.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described which provide an artificial branch that is coupled to a natural tree. The artificial branch includes one or more adjustable wires that can be used to change the shape of the artificial branch. The artificial branch is structured to receive natural and/or synthetic scent compounds that are sprayed at the artificial branch. In addition, the artificial branch is structured to receive scent compounds from wildlife to facilitate wildlife scent communication.

Abstract: Device embodiments use a person's exhaled breath to distribute an evaporated, sublimated, or vaporized material. The disclosure provides non-powered devices that use evaporation or sublimation to create the vapor that is distributed and the disclosure provides devices with electric vaporizers which rapidly vaporize liquid scent materials for distribution. The scent can be designed as a masking or cover scent, an aromatic lure scent, a scent elimination material, a pleasant scent for freshening air in a room or automobile, or a repellant scent. The device can be worn as a mask or configured as a game call.

The seafood sheller having a handle member, an upper beak member and a lower bladed member. Abstract: The invention discloses a strain of Monascus purpureus with high esters producing activity and the application in the production of ester flavored Monascus cheese. The strain was deposited in China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) on Oct. 17, 2019, with the preservation number of CGMCC 18589. The strain can make the cheese flavor having less pungent, and richer, significantly improve the odor quality of cheese, thus more in line with the taste of Chinese people. Moreover, some secondary metabolites responsible for health benefits including hypolipidemia, antihypertensive, antioxidant, and antihyperglycemic effects and prevention of obesity and diabetes development have been recognized in Monascus-fermented cheese.

Abstract: Disclosed are Aspergillus oryzae aged cheese and a preparation method thereof, wherein the preparation method of the Aspergillus oryzae cheese comprises the following steps: (1) inoculating raw milk after sterilization with lactic acid bacteria fermentation agent and Aspergillus oryzae spore powder, fermenting to a pH value of 6.3-6.5, wherein an additive amount of the Aspergillus oryzae spore powder is 0.001‰-0.008‰‰ of a mass of the raw milk; (2) adding rennin and obtaining curd after curding; (3) cutting the curd to obtain curd blocks; and (4) moulding the curd blocks after expelling whey, and performing pickling and maturing after demoulding, wherein 1-7 days are taken for maturing under 20-30° C.; 7-15 days are taken for maturing under 15-20° C.; 10-20 days are taken for continuing maturing under 8-12° C.; and relative humidity of an environment for maturing is 85%-95%.

Abstract: Truffles and other confections including cotton candy as a filling or as the outer shell of a filled confection are disclosed, as are methods of making such confections. In methods of making such confections, fresh cotton candy is shaped as needed, and then the shaped cotton candy is caused or allowed to form a thin crust of sugar that protects the inner mass of cotton candy from infiltration by chocolate or other coatings. The thin crust may be formed by a simple process, such as aging the formed cotton candy at appropriate conditions of temperature and humidity, or it may be formed by actively moistening the formed cotton candy. The resulting formed mass of cotton candy can be coated and finished. In some cases, shaped cotton candy may be formed around a filling and caused or allowed to form an outer crust, such that the cotton candy forms the outer layer of a truffle.

The method implies that brewer's grains are subject to loosening by means of a vibrating screen, grinding in a colloid mill with addition of water or centrate in the ratio from 0.5:1 to 1:1 to brewer's grains in order to produce a pasty homogeneous mass from brewer's grains; and then this mass is subject to processing by means of a screw extractor for its further grinding and division into 2 factions: suspension with the humidity level of 90-95%, and ground husk of brewer's grains with the humidity level of 60-75% suitable for its further industrial use.

Supplements can be added to no or low roughage rations that improve the performance of animals. This can result in promoting enhances feed conversion and better cost of feed to weight gain.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing an antimicrobial complex strain from kefir, which includes: 1) providing and, optionally filtering, kefir or kefir whey; 2) introducing a fermentable sugar into the kefir or kefir whey, wherein based on the weight of the kefir or kefir whey, at least a saturation amount of said fermentable sugar is used, and allowing curd to gather at the top, so as to form a pre-fermentation composition; and 3) enabling the pre-fermentation composition to ferment until a microbial membrane that is capable of growth develops at the top and a whey liquid forms underneath, and the whey liquid demonstrates antimicrobial activity and has a pH of about 3.0, wherein during the fermentation, if needed, further adding said kefir or kefir whey and/or said fermentable sugar.

The aerials are connected to conventional voltage detector circuitry on a circuit board located on the back of the glove.
