Abstract: A fully automated irrigation system to irrigate regular and irregular shapes of land. The system includes a water delivery pipe assembly configured to travel linearly while irrigating adjacent to a stationary row of water main spaced access valves. The system includes an automated connector configured to supply water from the access valves to the water delivery pipe assembly. The connector includes a swing arm, a compensator, a valve coupler, a lift and a swinger. The swing arm facilitates positioning a coupler body above a next-up access valve and facilitates positioning the delivery pipe assembly. The compensator compensates for distance change between a coupled-to access valve and the delivery pipe assembly when the assembly travels. A coupler body resides at an outer end of the swing arm. The lift raises and lowers the swing arm to couple and uncouple respectively the coupler body along the row of access valves.

Abstract: An automated oyster maturation system including a containment assembly rotatably disposed within a housing. The containment assembly includes a spiral construction that includes compartments that are in communication with one another, walls that define the compartments, and ramps. Openings disposed in the walls and ramps increase in size from the outer diameter to the inner diameter of the spiral construction so that, with every complete rotation of the containment assembly, every oyster will tumble further into the spiral construction and ascend from its original compartment into the adjacent inner compartment where opening size is larger than in the original compartment such that only oysters which have grown sufficiently can remain in the adjacent inner compartment while oysters that have not grown sufficiently yet will fall through the openings of the adjacent inner compartment into the original compartment.

Abstract: A fish hook insertion assembly includes a fish hook that has a leader which is attached to the fish hook. A grapple is provided that has a shaft portion and a handle portion. The shaft portion has a pointed end and the shaft portion is elongated such that the shaft portion can be extended into a mouth of a bait fish thereby facilitating the pointed end to penetrate outwardly through the bait fish at a point located proximate an anus of the bait fish. A slot is integrated into the shaft portion and the slot engages the leader to pull the leader through the bait fish when the grapple is pulled outwardly from the mouth of the bait fish. In this way the fish hook can be pulled partially into the bait fish to facilitate the bait fish to be employed for fishing.

Abstract: The device for evaporating volatile substances comprises a porous mat (1) impregnated with volatile substances, a heating element (2) that heats the porous mat (1) for evaporating the volatile substances, and a reflective element (3) for reflecting the heat from the heating element (2) to said porous mat (1), wherein the reflective element (3) forms a cavity defined by a bottom and side walls where the porous mat (1) and the heating element (2) are placed. Thanks to this feature, the reflective element reflects or redirects the heat radiation from the heating element back towards the porous mat where the volatile substances are impregnated, and the heat energy that is going away from the porous mat is reflected back to the porous mat, so that a heating element which consumes less energy can be used for the same evaporation capacity.

The assembly includes an emanator or holder element to hold treatment agent, and a flameless energizing source to energize the treatment agent and thereby, place the treatment agent into an enhanced operational state. Preferred embodiments operate for a period of time of between about 4 and 8 hours, and can then be discarded. Typically, a housing associates the treatment agent and the energizing source. Embodiments may sometimes include one or more of: a gas-tight boundary element, a thermal transfer element, a trigger mechanism, a safety mechanism, a termination mechanism, a time-delay mechanism, solidized treatment agent to avoid spills, and a sequestering arrangement to avoid premature combination of reactants.
