Publication number: 20230397630Abstract: A method of efficiently separating solid fat from polyunsaturated fatty acid grease (PFAG) comprises adding a small amount of inert material to the PFAG, and cooling crystallization, and then adding a certain amount of inert material under stirring, and filtering to obtain clarified PFAG, at the same time collecting a filter cake, heating and dissolving the filter cake, and then filtering, recovering a filtrate to obtain a solid fat. The method can be efficiently separated saturated and low-saturated fatty acids from PFAG. In the process, winterization crystallization time is short, crystallization is complete, the crystal separation is easy. It will not cause some solid fat melted and thus re-enter filtrate due to long separation and blowing dry in conventional process. The yield of final product is high up to 96.3%-98.2%. After winterization, a lipid clarity of PFAG is good, and no crystal precipitation would occur at 0° C. for 5 hrs.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 5, 2023Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventors: Xinde XU, Shengfan WANG, Jian ZHAO, Hongjuan CHAO

Publication number: 20230397660Abstract: Provided is an electronic vaping device that includes a heating element configured to convert a portion of a liquid into a vapor by elevating a temperature of the liquid. An airflow passage is defined by the vaping device to channel a stream of a fluid including air, or a combination of air and vapor, adjacent to the heating element as a result of a user inhaling through a mouthpiece. The stream of fluid flowing through the airflow passage entrains the vapor and transports the vapor toward the mouthpiece. A pre-heater is arranged upstream of the heating element to pre-heat at least a portion of the fluid to a pre-heated temperature. The pre-heated temperature is greater than an ambient temperature of the air that is introduced to the pre-heater. A controller independently controls the heating element and the pre-heater.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2019Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventors: John Bellinger Decker, Brandon Ward, James Bellinger

Publication number: 20230397664Abstract: An aerosol-generating device includes a housing, a lid, a mouthpiece, and at least one UV diode. The housing defines a capsule-receiving cavity. The lid is configured to close the housing. The lid is fixedly coupled by a hinge to the housing at a first point and releasably couplable to the housing at a second point that is different from the first point. The mouthpiece is couplable to the lid opposite the housing such that air entering the housing and drawn through the capsule-receiving cavity exits out of the mouthpiece. The at least one UV diode is configured to sanitize an interior of the aerosol-generating device when the at least one UV diode is actuated.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2022Publication date: December 14, 2023Applicant: Altria Client Services LLCInventor: Christopher J.
