A second front segment of the front arm includes an earring support with a post receiver void that is sized to detachably hold a post of an earring therein. A second back segment of the back arm includes at least three prongs that are spaced to support an earring back therebetween. The hinge is operable to change a hinge angle from a larger angle between the front arm and back arm during earring mounting on the earring aligner to a smaller angle during alignment of the earring post with the earring back after the earring post is inserted through a hole in an earlobe of a user.

Abstract: A case for a portable electronic device (PED) is disclosed. The case includes a body having an interior surface configured to accept a PED and an exterior surface to be exposed to outside forces. A back vent that permits the transfer heat away from the PED and to the environment presents through the body of the case. A cushioning member is placed at or near the back vent on the interior surface of the case and may substantially or completely surround the back vent. When a PED is placed within the case, the fit of the PED and the case causes the cushioning member to press against the PED in order to create a cushion for the PED in the event of an outside force being applied to the case. The case may include a screen protector within a frame that attaches to the body.

Rotation of the base relative to the shell, in a first direction, drives the actuatable member towards an open position and pivots the cradle towards the presentation position, and rotation in a second direction drives the actuatable member towards a closed position and pivots the cradle towards the storage position. A lever pin on the cradle extends through a C-slot of an inner mechanism rotating with the base to a channel on the shell. Rotation between the base and shell causes the channel to drive the lever pin to different ends of the C-slot to thereby pivot the cradle.

The secondary air flow path is operable to blow dry hair in a second mode of operation. In the primary mode of operation, the motor and fan assembly of the secondary air flow path is operated in reverse to direct air towards hair that is being dried by suction.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an aid to help consumers with long hair to more efficiently and evenly dry their hair at one time. A system, device, technique and kit are envisioned that allow a consumer to either adapt existing hair drying equipment for this enhanced purpose or provide entirely new systems or kits to enable the consumer to evenly dry their hair. Extension members threadably engage to each other and a hair dryer or bonnet, the combined elements when mounted to or on a stand allow a user to control, adjust and guide the airflow around long hair of the user inserted into a tunnel portion of the extension members. A heat distribution conduit provides even heat to the deployed hair, and a stand or mount are employed to stabilize the assembly.

Abstract: A split end removal comb. This comb includes an outer shell which houses an inner shell of similar shape but smaller dimensions, and a handle, which houses an electromechanical assembly. The inner comb can slide to a lock position inside the upper part of the outer comb, whereby the hair can be stretched away from the scalp and bent into divided strands. In this position, the blades mounted on the teeth of the inner comb, which can be powered by a motor, can be activated through a shaft running through the perpendicular axis of the device thereby trimming the tips of the hair, as it is being combed by the user. During operation, the hair goes through channels created by the multi-planar arrays of a plurality of teeth, ridges, and blades arranged along various angles and distances. This results in a safe and easy trimming of split ends.

Abstract: An adjustable bench comprises a seat, a skirt extending from the seat, and a plurality of height adjustable leg assemblies coupled to the skirt. The seat is shaped to be selectively mated with the skirt to provide the bench with either a flat top or a sloped top surface.
