Abstract: An asset management system includes an asset management network that connects various types of refrigeration appliances to an asset manager. At the device layer, IOT devices are connected to the refrigeration appliances and have edge compute capability, including a backup power management function, and a modem for network communication. IOT device ports directly integrate with sensors, switches, and/or serial data controllers of refrigeration appliances. Push notification alarms are initiated on the edge of the network by IOT devices. The network tags operating data by appliance serial, and the asset manager stores the data using serial numbers as primary keys. The asset manager streams data from numerous appliances and uses event driven processing to promptly respond to edge alarms. The operating data keyed by serial number is enriched with proprietary data organized by appliance type and is used to develop new predictive models by appliance type.

Abstract: A multi-intelligence federated reinforcement learning (FRL)-based vehicle-road cooperative control system and method at the complex intersection use a vehicle-road cooperative control framework based on the Road Side Unit (RSU) static processing module and the vehicle-based dynamic processing module. The historical road information is supplied by the proposed RSU module. The Federated Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic policy gradient (FTD3) algorithm is proposed to connect the federated learning (FL) module and the reinforcement learning (RL) module. The FTD3 algorithm transmits only neural network parameters instead of vehicle samples to protect privacy. Firstly, FTD3 selects only specific networks for aggregation to reduce the communication cost. Secondly, FTD3 realizes the deep combination of FL and RL by aggregating target critic networks with smaller Q-values. Thirdly, RSU neural network participates in aggregation rather than training, and only shared global model parameters are used.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described in which one or more attributes or cues related to a discoverable object are conveyed to a user of handheld device via audible, haptic and/or visual means. Using a light beam generated by the handheld device and pointed in the same direction as a device camera, the user may point toward one or more objects in the user's environment believed to be associated with the one or more attributes or cues. Based on the region being pointed at within camera images, the handheld device may classify objects within images to determine if an object matches one or more templates or classifications of the discoverable object. A match, or mismatch, of objects being pointed at may determine subsequent actions. Systems and methods may provide simple and intuitive methods for human-machine interactions that may be particularly well-suited for learners.

Abstract: Some examples described herein involve an interactive game system and virtual world for educating users about cryptocurrency. In one example, a system can generate a three-dimensional (3D) virtual world for a video game. The 3D virtual world can include game objects and a virtual avatar representing a user, where the virtual avatar is movable within the 3D virtual world to interact with the game objects. The system can detect an interaction between the virtual avatar and one of the game objects within the 3D virtual world and, in response to detecting the interaction, select a learning module. The system can select the learning module from among a group of learning modules based on the game object. The learning module can be configured to provide an educational tutorial to teach the user about cryptocurrency. The system can then execute the learning module to provide the educational tutorial to the user.

The second plate comes in a rectangular configuration and acts as a center plate of the plate. Each of the first plate and the third plate comes in a semi-circular configuration and connects at either side of the second plate. Each of the first plate, the second plate, and the third plate includes zones for receiving magnetic pads. The plate includes legs/supports. The legs/supports help to position the plate at a height from the ground. The second plate presents a hinge plate. The hinge plate allows to position music notes over the second plate such that users stand surrounding the plate. The users view the music notes and use musical instruments to produce sound by hitting the musical instruments over the magnetic pads.

Abstract: A system is provided for enabling a user to overcome anger. The system is configured to enable the user to engage in a first and a second activity in a virtual environment, directed to rewire a first and a second defective wiring, respectively. The first defective wiring results in an individual's bias towards noticing unfair attributes in a situation or an event. The second defective wiring results in inability to weigh between fair and unfair attributes of a situation. Symptom of the first and the second defective wirings is anger. Engagement in the second activity is enabled after the user has at least participated in the first activity. Automated instructions are provided to the user to engage in activities performed in a real world environment directed to rewire the first and the second defective wiring.
